The owner was nice enough, but when we arrived at the scheduled time of 9 AM, nobody was there. We had to wait around in the parking lot for some time before picking up our UHaul. Once we got service, there were not enough blankets to fulfill what we ordered. So, we had to get 48 instead of 60 and because of our time crunch, we ended up regretting that due to the damage it caused on some of our furniture. The truck was in decent shape, but the back was not swept or cleaned. Overall a poor experience, but we accomplished the mission.Andrew D.
First of all, uhaul screwed up our reservation. The location we originally booked was closed for the week. An agent called and told us to go to the Ave H shop. I never got a confirmation email. The owner had no record of our reservation when we went to pick up the uhaul. FRUSTRATING! Thankfully they had one available. Return check in was brutal. It took 30 mins for the guy to check us back in because the wrong truck had been logged in at checkout. The prices were wrong and had to be adjusted as well. We will not go back here. The parking lot is too small for uhauls and cars and there was one person trying to check in returns AND check out gas station customers.Colin R.

I arrived on time and started following the mobile pick up prompts. When I got to the step where I needed to get the keys, I approached the man at the counter and was met with open hostility. He chastised me for not getting with him as soon as I arrived. When I explained that I was following the prompts online he dismissed me as if I was a child or speaking nonsense. I wanted to take a moment to explain how the online system worked from my perspective, but figured that was not my place, and it wouldn't help his attitude anyway. He shoved the key at me and told me to take it and I left quickly to just move forward with my day. When I entered the truck I could not believe the condition inside. I was not expecting a luxury experience. You get what you pay for. I was expecting to be able to use the equipment without extensive effort. Every surface on the inside cab was covered in dirt and grime or dried, caked on food. There was limited visibility through the windshield and the mirrors were almost useless because all the glass surfaces were coated in either dead bugs or what I assume was dried dirty rain water. I was shocked with COVID still being an issue that there is not any kind of cleaning procedure or inspection done by the location. After interacting with the pick up location representative, I understand if the procedure was not followed. I cleaned the glass then started to clean the inside cab and realized- I didn't receive the dolly or furniture pads that I reserved. Based on the interaction I had with the representative and the condition of the truck, I could see why my order wasn't completed accurately. I could have checked for the rented items before I left, but I wanted to leave as soon as possible. I imagine the pick up location has a record of the reservation and had the items on-hand. I called U-haul customer service and after about 45 minutes of waiting (I was cleaning the cab of the truck this entire time) they refunded the fees for the dolly and furniture pads that I never received. Initially they asked if I wanted to return to the location to pickup the items, but I let them know I did not want to return to that location ever again. To top it off, I spent about an hour driving around and about $75 buying moving blankets and borrowing a dolly. That put me over the miles for rental and I paid for the overage. I don't need or want anything. I do suggest a review of this pick up location and maybe an evaluation of their partnership/agreement if this happens often.James R.
The inside of the truck smelled and was dirty. The storage part of the truck had not been swept out. The gas was left on 1/8 of a tank and I had a 40 mile range before I ran out of gas.royal A.
We tried returning the truck on Sunday July 25th but because the store never opened, we had to return it on Monday July 26th and we were charged for that day. I'll never rent another uhaul, I already spoke with corporate and she said I wouldn't be charged but I just received my bill and was charged anyways! Go figure!!!RANDY W.

Confirm the mileage and fuel level. I picked up the vehicle at 1/4 and didn't receive the contract in my email until after I left the location. When I went to return it, I was told fuel level was incorrect and to refer to email. I made the mistake of trusting the clerk and the system and didn't take a picture. I would rate zero stars if I could.Maria S.
