You can take the fuel and cleaning right off my bill now, because I'm not paying it. This vehicle was absolutely filthy when I picked it up. Which, by the way, took over an hour to accomplish. By 12.00 no one was in the office. I was on the phone forever trying to get the keys. It was freezing, windy and starting to rain. I had no where to go to get out of the weather The seats were disgustingly dirty and made me cringe to get in it. It stank and I wore a mask the whole tome I was driving it. When I dropped it off, don't you dare try to talk me that anyone cleaned it, because, once again not a soul in sight. I put gas in it up to the level it was when I picked it up This is nothing but a rip off and that location is a dumpy old house with cardboard in the windows. Never again !!!!!

On your website, we were given the choice between doing an online pick up or with a u-haul attendant. I choose u-haul attendant however when we reached the location, it's a mobile only location. We then spent 40 minutes sitting there mainly on hold trying to get it resolved so we could get our rental. The option for in person pick up shouldn't have been available for this location. It was very disappointing.

The vehicle was super nasty, dirty and disgusting, it had a smell like poop of cow, not really sure what kind of things did a past customer put in the vehicle but it was terrible, on top of that they upcharged me for no reason

I was scared at this location. Only truck on site. Lock on back of truck was cut off and laying on ground. I put it inside cab. I called when dropping off for instructions and they (U-Haul) told me to put keys on back off truck because there is no drop box. I was scared to do that. Anyone could take the truck. I was also last minute told to go to 2 different locations to get truck. Very bad service. Truck gas and mileage was wrong as well. I got my move done but nerves shattered after the business. I was forced to drive over 120klm to pickup truck. They called me when I was almost there and told me to pickup tomorrow instead? I said no! He said that the truck was at a Garage and was towed out of a snow bank. I went there and (very scary and very dirty place), waited 15 minutes while he texted someone and didn't even put his head up to acknowledge me. He then said I had to follow him to pick up truck. I asked where the blankets I rented are? He didn't have any. He said I had to go to another uHaul in Barrie to get them (with the 26ft truck!!). Spent most of evening running around and then had to drive truck another 120klm to my house? On top of all this, I was first directed to a U-Haul that doesn't sell U-Haul any longer? That caused us to spend several hours and 4 redirected phone calls to find a person who would credit us for all the material we bought, but couldn't get it from an owner U-Haul location because they had no record of it? The only thing that worked well is the two workers hired to assist in loading the truck. The truck itself was very old and there was hard ice and snow packed into wheel well that caused truck to vibrate terrible. I cleaned it out and it was better. I am completely exhausted about this experience?

Absolute mess guys are unprofessional couldn't find my reservation online. I have a fuel charge of 85$ there was 3/4 of a tank of gas in it when I got it and 3/4 when I dropped it off mileage is also off. The office smelled like alcohol it was disgusting like 8 people crammed in this little space all waiting took an hour to get the keys these guys are scam artists and I'll be reporting this to the better business burea. Because I'm of this I will never rent from u haul again clearly not a trusted business

1. They made me go to a different location because they got the reservation mixed up. Once there.. the uhaul location was closed. 2. When I returned to original location they said there was no more trucks available even though I reserved a truck. 3. Finally got a truck after 2 hours, gas was almost empty. 4. Over charged me for milage and when I came back in once I returned the truck they didnt have any money to reimburse me.. one of the workers went out to get cash and he did not return for a long period of time. 5. Charged me after hours return fee even though I filled out all the online forms so I wouldnt be charged Absolute joke of a professional establishment So unorganized. I will NEVER be using UHAUL again and neither will my family. Had to pay movers to sit around for 3 hours when we tried to figure out the rental truck. Terrible customer service at this establishment, truly disappointing.

The passenger side door did not close or lock I had to hold it closed the whole trip thank goodness we were going a short distance the signal light kept coming on The back of the truck did not close there was no ramp and when I went back to the location and the next day to get my deposit back they said they had no money my husband is waiting in the parking lot as we speak at the location for the boss to arrive to give us back our deposit a day and a half later we had the truck for 4 1/2 hours And I am so thankful we only did a small move it was not a good experience to say the least as my husband sits in the parking lot waiting for our deposit back a day and a half later

Long wait when picking up truck. Could not do as they ask when returned truck. Unable to get online. However, no extra charges were on final bill so overall I will say it went ok. You definitely need to have patience!!!!

Couldn't get mobile pickup to work or drop off spent hours on the phone trying to resolve the issues. The person was late getting to work and was an hour after scheduled appointment said he knew the night before that the truck was out and couldn't be picked up yet both location and head office knew that but no communication to the customer. Very poor business practices.

The truck cab was dirty, the dealer is located at 45 Bradford St. Not 53 Bradford St. I received an email stating that my reservation was confirmed and guaranteed. When I arrived, there was no appliance dolly, no furniture pads and no trailer. Because of this, I will need to make another trip. I want some serious compensation for this issue.

Friendly and accommodating staff. Premises dirty, poorly maintained and way below par for a typical U Haul outlet. The computer was painfully slow - had to be "refreshed" constantly ....needs to be replaced? up-dated? but anyway you look at it NOT acceptable for a business these days.

Not the locations fault but U-Haul corporate. There is a very clear gap in communication between locations and with the online u haul booking system. It puts locations in a very difficult position and frankly it is unacceptable. UHaul corporate you need to get your shit together and invest in the over hauling your system. It's embarrassing and I will avoid renting from U-Haul at all costs.

We had to wait 2 hours after our pickup time to just drive our vehicle because U-haul's app was broken. There was no one to help us including U-haul itself. The truck was terrible to start. No Dolly included even though I paid for it. Gas was on empty when I picked it up and I barely got to a gas station.

Our pickup of the trailer was a lengthy process but the girl was very friendly. The return the next day was an experience in its self I had put the deposit for the trailer on my debit card but when we returned trailer the workers had no clue what was going on then one of the employees asked my husband to follow him downtown to go to the bank so he could get cash to refund the deposit they never came out so see the return of the trailer or look it over and all employees st this location really had no clue what was going on this whole return took over 2 hours to complete we even had to threaten to call the police because for the refund of the deposit very shady place employee finally agreed to refund deposit and ot was completed through an etransfer would not recommend to anyone

Even though I booked and express checkout online, it took us over an hour to get our trailer. The person working there could not find my reservation on the computer, or anyone else's. She had to re-book everyone manually. As a result we missed our next appointment and had to reschedule our entire weekend which was very problematic. This office didn't have dollies available and was filthy and crammed. The actual enclosed Trailer I rented, has seen better days as the chains were already scraped/worn and we did not receive a text to check off damage prior to leaving as a safety precaution to cover us for damages. We will never rent from here again.

The gentleman was extremely disorganized. The mileage on the contract was not what was on the vehicle. I signed paperwork attesting that the fuel level and the mileage was correct before I even saw the vehicle. I didn't receive paperwork saying I had bought the insurance. I was a joke the way the other people in front of us were having similar problems. I'm sure the dealers are all franchises but this should not be in business. No, no, no will i ever rent from them again and obviously I won't recommend them I will do what I can to warn people off.

The truck was clean and in ok shape. We spoke with an attendant the day before pickup and agreed on a time to be there, when we were nearby we called to let him know and we were told not to come til a later time. However my main issue was that the lot was not plowed or maintained for the conditions. I was left to get the truck off the lot myself and was unable to do so due to the amount of snow and ice. I was provided with minimal assistance and one attendant even left the site without helping me at all. It took me 45 minutes to finally get the truck free, I had to use my hands and anything else I could find around the property to get the truck off the lot.

This location literally looks like a halfway house or a drug den. It was actually closed, so I was told to go to 45 Bradford street. This location was better, but the man was pretty crass, and unapologetic of the delay. I should mention that my truck was delayed twice, and I am still waiting for a call back for proper compensation for the inconveniences.

I booked with 546 Bryne Dr., Barrie, Ontario. I received a txt the night before to pickup at 364 Tiffin St. Barrie at 10 AM - was supposed to pickup at 5 pm. When I went there, they directed me to 80 Bradford St. Went there. Line up of annoyed people all not getting what they ordered or their timing. Same for me, was supposed to pick up a 15 ft truck at 5 pm Fri and was going to drop it in Waterloo on Sat. Believe I got a 10 ft and was told I had to bring it back. This caused me to change plans pretty dramatically. I was moving a student to Waterloo and one to London Ont. Guy at 80 Bradford made me feel like I was lucky to get a truck as I didn't book it with him. As I told him, “if your sign didn't say U-Haul our front, I might agree with you - but it does”. Not at all impressed. I booked several weeks in advance. Clearly your enterprise scheduling service is not up to the task - and your agents don't know who they work for.

First off. The agn on tiffin St is no longer there. Why am I able to book a uhaul at a location that does not exist. I show up there the day of my rental and luckily someone was there to tell me they moved to Bradford St. Change this immediately. Then I arrive at the Bradford St location. It's okay, but the service was horrible. The guy didn't communicate anything at all and just expected me to sign the contract. Gives me the keys and tells me to go. Didn't even get the contract. Terrible service. Uhual vehicle used was great though

Solution. Hire more staff!!! 1 employee to run everything is just an insult to your staff & your customers. There was 4 customers in front of me at 9am and each of them had an issue. Renting a cargo van turned into "open-heart surgery". What a waste of time!

Location is not at tiffin st. He moved who knows when but it was frustrating cuz we came from 2 hours away and wasted our time. The agent there was so rushed and rude. He asked for our name and as we were talking he picked up the phone and called another customer without even saying anything to us. Extremely rude. Also put on the form that the tank was ¼ full which it was not. So we had to spend more on gas then we used and since it is a gas hog that is not fair to us. Cost my husband $25 just to get it to a quarter tank once he picked it up. He took pictures of the gauge. Would never rent from this location again and make sure our family in that area avoid him at all costs!!!!!!!

I'm happy with the truck, and with the price, and with the staff However, you might need more staff because at the Bradford street location the only service member had to leave and a number of customers were left waiting, and at the Tiffin location there was nobody there at all when I went to pick up the truck. There was a group of people already waiting when we arrived with the same problem. Otherwise, the staff was helpful and efficient

The pickup location looked like a dumping ground. There was screws, nails and debris all over the area. The rental office looked like a place where you would go to in a horror movie. The rental office was disgusting and absolutely filthy. The staff member on site had no clue what they were doing and was constantly on the phone asking what to do next. I will never use or suggest this location to anyone. The truck I received had an engine light on and was in terrible running order. I even pointed this out to the pickup staff who ignored my concerns.

We brought the vehicle back with 1/4 tank full as per the agreement. But we were charged $70 for service fees and fuel when the location we dropped off at said the tank was only at 1/8. I will not use this location again for rentals and warn others not to either!

My pick-up location was changed without notification. I had to drive to another location to pick up my truck rental. Moreover, once I arrived the individual that provided me the keys to the truck was not wearing any pants. The building looked like a crack house and the parking lot was covered in nails. Not a location I would ever go to again.

Was the worst place ever! He had use going back and forth to his new place and the one he was moving out of. If that wasn't bad enough i was there first and he started serving two ladies first one lady got here truck first then he started to serve the second lady i said something he said wait thats when i got mad i said first one here last one out ! in a stern voice and im a big guy so i guess he got a bit nervous because he then he started to serve me! But i think one hour to pick up the truck was a bit much! I think i should be compensated for this hassle!!!

The truck I received was filled with snow and ice, and i was told to go start it and scrape it myself and shovel out the back of it when there were workers there that should have been doing it. I also feel I was overcharged for an in-town move paying 55$ when its advertised for half that price. i was waiting for an hour and a half before even being seen and issued a vehicle. The service provider was very unorganized and had keys of trucks all over the place not knowing which one was which and the office space was a complete disaster.

The people were friendly and helpful and the location very convenient for me. The only problem was that they were late opening and the computer had problems probably due to the cold. The price was good.

Got my truck an hour late. There was no wind shield wiper fluid in truck. So I couldn't clean wind shield while driving. The parking lot wasn't clear so I got stuck in the snow, another customer had to help me get the truck out. When I got to my location and opened the truck, there was an old sofa and a dirty bed in the truck. No one cleared it out. Lucky my items was small enough to still fit inside. And lastly when i returned to Uhaul to return the truck at 1:50pm no one was there. I had to wait 30 minutes for someone to show up, so that I could return the key and be checked out. My experience was horrible, and I was not pleased with the service. To be honest with you, it was a horrible experience and I don't think I will be renting from Uhaul again.

Saying the employees at this location are incompetent would be understatement! I read the reviews prior to booking but because it was right around the corner from where I was moving to I decided to try my luck; big mistake! I booked the truck for 10am, didn't end up driving away with it until after 11:30 even though I did the express pickup prior to arrival. Employees were absolutely useless, disorganized and had no idea what was going on. Even at around 10:45 there were customers that had been there since 9am and still didn't have their trucks. Neither employee seemed to care at all about their jobs or their customers. Never ever again will I use uhaul, this was by far the worst experience I've ever had with any company!

The self pick up didn't work. Our truck wasnt there so they had to give us another one. We where suppose to get our truck at 830 the app didnt work so we had to wait until the worker came. They open at 9 and the worker was late.

I waited over 45 minutes in cold weather to get the truck. There was only 1 person working on a busy day. The vehicle was booked online to save time. Also, returning the vehicle, same issue ---- long wait and took person to attend me over 20 minutes. I wasted over 1.5 hours just to get the vehicle and return for 1.5 hour job. NOT HAPPY AT ALL.

Firstly I waited an hour to receive a vehicle which was previously reserved. No other customers were present. I was aware the fellow was new, who definitely requires much more training & should not be left on his own as of yet. We became frustrated so it was DAM DAM DAM. The other man who works there spoke up & reminded the young fellow about his language but he then proceeded to make a personal call but he also should have watched his language F F F, not willing to spell it out. The young fellow made many calls to his supervisor with no answer. When contact was made his supervisor tried to help but things weren't going well. The supervisor gave him a number to call which took time to get through so frustration set in again so I was present to F F F. When the young fellow finally had it figured out sort of as it was not the vehicle requested. He indicated that he didn't know how to cancel and put the right vehicle in computer. After an hour I took the vehicle just to get out of there but it cost me .20 per km more. The young man was apologetic but it was a complete nightmare. Very disappointed and felt disrespected. Had previously used this location with no problems, don't know what happened this time.
