Dropped truck off Sunday night. Location was closed but I was able to gain access and drop of the key in the box.

Had gate closed across it and nobody around or instructions. Called the 800# and she was frustrated withe place, but helpful to me. It's scary & nasty around the area. Glad I had several people with me! Never recommend this place to anybody!

I was initially very disappointed to find out my reservation had been moved to a different pick up location 20-30 miles out of my way. Customer service from Uhaul on the phone was not helpful at all. I called Kim at After Hours Services and she was extremely helpful and gave me far more information and help than I received from calling Uhaul directly. Overall, I was extremely pleased with the service we received from Kim. Kim was very friendly, helpful, and a pleasure to work with.

I am presently disputing your bill. Your additional service charges are criminal in nature. Additionally, your customer service is atrocious. I was personally insulted by your Columbia, SC location manager during conversation about billing.

As I said the last time, Uhaul needs to stop expecting customers to use their phone to conduct Uhaul business. But I have not received any response to that. But I will keep renting when I need to but I will not use my phone.

This was the worst U-Haul experience ever. My location got changed the last minute an hour away in the middle of nowhere Alabama. The office was a storage shed and no one ever came to help me. My reservation was dropped bc we were late picking it up bc we had to drive an hour away to get the truck. I was on hold for an hour with customer service at a location that was pretty much a junkyard and not safe. Finally I was able to get my truck and I had to repay movers and pay extra in gas bc the location was an hour away-so 100 miles extra I paid in gas. It was just horrible, the truck smelled like cigarettes and had mud in it but I took it anyway bc I only had that day to move. The experience was absolutely horrifying and I'll be calling U-Haul for at least gas reimbursement. I hope ya'll never put anyone through that again. U-Haul should be ashamed.

Sometimes phone service is not available so using the mobile device for doing certain responses is not possible and causes some problems. Maybe Uhaul should consider that in the future. What are some other options? What did we do before smart phones? Never had that kind of problem back then. Technology is only as good as it works and when it works.

I don't think that Uhaul show expect their customers to do anything with their mobile device. Our cell phones are first of all, just phones. I don't want to be having to go to some link before I can leave the site. Also, having to put two other contacts is very unnecessary. Why can't I just rent a trailer or truck without all of the unnecessary extra unrelated info?

Had a lot of trouble with drop off process. Eventually had to call UHaul but had trouble even then with that.

uhaul computer/system caused the location to have to enter our information 2 or 3 times - time consuming for the customer. Not the first time this happened. Also, we reserved the pick up at a shorter location and the reservation come through to the eclectic location ~ without notice to us. Lucky we checked our email prior to leaving to pick up truck. Notice would have been nice.

This place was great, and the lady, Kimberley, in Eclectic was wonderful. However, I would strongly recommend against U-Haul to anyone who needs to “plan ahead” for their move. We were promised a 15' truck from the location close to my sisters' home. I flew in to Montgomery from California the day before, to handle their move. During my flight to Alabama, my elder sister was told they had no such truck available despite the reservation and written confirmation. My elder sister is a 70-yr old nun who has been overseeing the care and meds for our disabled sister, age 64 — Mary Jo was frantic and hysterical, and not used to broken promises. Our disabled sister was completely hysterical — she was convinced we would not get to Missouri on Monday, “in time” for the special housing we have spent over a year finding and arranging. I spent hours trying to find another 15' vehicle, and wasted hours trying to calm each of them down. You have no idea how much energy that took to remain calm and cheerful when 1 sister won't listen, and the other sister just can't comprehend all the obstacles. This is the 2nd time I ran into the same problem with U-Haul (“sorry, we fon't have a truck gor you, and there's simply nothing we can do”). It's amazing to me that you are still in business. I would understand a tornado, or flood, etc, but this was just poor management by U-Haul. Thanks again to the wonderful/professional Kimberly in Eclectic, Alabama.

The equipment was clean but there were ants everywhere which happens when it rains a lot but my bigger concern was I was told it had five eights gas in it only had a half a tank and when I brought it to the attendant's attention. she said she didn't know what happened to it, tell them it must've got stolen.
