I went to drop off equipment a day early. The app did not work to allow me to check in. We dropped off truck and put keys in after hour box. I called Uhaul they were not helpful. The next day (Wednesday) I went back to the business it was closed. Again tried the app to check in equipment and it did not work again. I called Uhaul they were not helpful. They next day I again went to business and was there at 0800 when the sign said they would be open. It was closed. I went back and it opened 45 min late. I explained that I had returned truck a day early, the app was not working. The person was in office said yeah I will check it in the app isn't working for me either. He didn't care to listen to me and was completely unhelpful. He did not get out of his chair simply said I will check it in. Hours later I got an email for an additional charge of $104 dollars. I was charged $28 and$40 for being a day late (unbelievable but true) and a $36 charge for a missing appliance dolly which was in the truck when I dropped it off. In the middle of all of this I called Uhaul at least 5 times and waited on hold for hours, no exaggeration, and talked to them twice and got no help. I would never recommend Uhaul to anyone I know.Gina B.

I was to rent from the Millinocket outlet. Then couldn't get the truck there & had to go 25 mi. further to Lincoln & was told there would be no extra mileage fee. Then was charged $36.80 for extra miles. There was also a sticker in the truck "save $25 by sweeping the truck clean. I did that & mentioned it to the man in Lincoln & nothing was done about it. The $36.80 is in dispute with Capital One. I refuse to pay it! You need to smarten up your operation or I'll never use it again & will advise many others about what happened.DANIEL W.

The triler that I rented was not available, I was charged full-price for the equipment that was substituted. And i was charged for the safe haul insurance, which I did not authorize. I inquired at the rental location if I needed to sign for the rental, and was told he never has anyone sign. Also no assistance in hooking up the trailer, my husband did this himself.Melissa B.

It took over 45 minutes to pick up what was supposed to be a rental with 100% contactless pick-up. No masks on anyone present. It was very uncomfortable. We won't return for their services in the future, nor will we recommend to friends.Tori S.
