THE TRUCK WAS FINE, HOWEVER I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND U HAUL TO FRIENDS. I MADE MY RESERVATION 6 WEEKS IN ADVANCE TO BE PICKED UP AT 8 AM AT A LOCATION IN SOUTH ST LOUIS COUNTY. THE DAY BEFORE OUR SCHEDULED MOVE I RECEIVED A CALL STATING I COULD PICK UP THE TRUCK IN NORTH COUNTY AT 9:30. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE PEOPLE WERE NOT FRIENDLY. I WAS TOLD I WAS LUCKY TO BE GETTING A TRUCK AT ALL, AND THAT I DIDNT HAVE TO DIRVE 150 MILES TO PICK IT UP. I COULD TAKE IT OR THEY WOULD PASS IT TO THE NEXT CUSTOMER.Susan H.

About a week ahead of time i requested for a 10 foot truck and was told by the main office that i would have a 10 foot truck when i got there it was a 15 foot truck i was not pleased about that we were using the truck for transportation. The 10 foot would get better gas mileage and cheaper then the other. I guess no use asking for a special truck wont do that again.ORLEY S.

Uhaul moved my reservations to here since the one at Moberly didn't have the correct size truck and trailer I reserved. This place gave me the older truck with 60k plus miles. There was also a big stratch onthe right side of the truck that wasn't mark with the "X" stickers. I talked with one of the workers and they told me to tell the dealer where I return it that Rich got it taken care of. After I insisted on it having a sticker, they finally put a lot of little ones on the exposed wood. They eventually fell off while driving through a storm. Thankfully I had purchased insurance and took pictures of before and after they placed the stickers. The dealer where I returned the trucked believed my story. There was also spilled coffee on the cup holders and pieces of chips in between the seats when i got the truck.Abraham N.

I ordered a 10ft uhaul truck on Dec 23 from Fulton but I had to actually GO GET the truck myself as the dealer in Fulton refused to go get it so it would be ready for me on Saturday morning. so I was charged for miles from Mexico to Fulton and back. I don't understand why I was charged for miles when the dealer in Fulton refused to go get a truck. That is his job to provide the ordered truck. then when I get the bill, the mileage is wrong by 7 miles as I TOOK PICTURES of the mileage before I left and when I dropped it off. (start 61762 returned 61829). I even took the truck back the same day before 5pm. Just wrong businesses like to screw their customers.LORI H.
Main thing that could improve service for the next customer.. When someone reserves a truck in advance, be sure a truck that size or bigger is available. We reserved the 20 foot truck as we only had 1 day to move as much of a 3 bedroom house as possible. When we arrived at 9am as scheduled for pickup the only thing available was a 15 foot truck. We ended up paying more for miles because we had to make 2 trips instead of 1 and had to drive 4 hours instead of 2 hours. We picked up the truck at 9am and finished unloading the 2nd load at 3:30am. If we had the truck we requested we could have been done several hours earlier. Staff was friendly and polite and the truck was clean though.Bobbi M.

All personal contact with this location was great. Everything was taken care of and ready for departure. The truck was a perfect match for the task at hand, and handled very well for this trip. The only glitches I had were dealing with the website, I got the basic information from there, but it was working with affordable self storage, on the phone and in person that made the process go smoothly. Thank you As a side note I can say the Ellis location in Jefferson City has also been very helpful to me. I have rented equipment from them a few times. Gracias.Gary N.

I think there needs to be a person there to receive the truck and equipment for the peace of mind of the customer who is picking up and dropping it off.Matt B.
When you specifically state your pickup and drop off locations and that your travel is one way then the allotted miles should be equal to what you need to get to and from your destination INCLUDING uhaul drop off and pickup. Very frustrating to have to pay for extra milage onto of an already expensive truck. Then to also get harassed about gas when I put well over what was in there in the first place. Otherwise a good experience and truck was very helpful and exactly what I needed.Stephanie B.

Sent to the incorrect location.(incorrect location confirmed on the order) No txt to correct from u-Haul that morning. Customer showed up at the location to be told, "I do not have your trailer". Over 40 mins of driving to get to correct location. Correct location customer service was great.Stephen M.

I originally scheduled this Uhaul truck from the Fulton Uhaul. The Fulton Uhaul totally dropped the ball - failed to inform me they didn't have a truck available after I reserved the truck a week ahead of time. I get a call from the owner of the Mexico, MO Uhaul telling me he has the truck and I will need to go to Mexico (30 miles one way) on the day I reserved the truck in order to have a truck to move. The owner of the Mexico Uhaul was awesome and took care of me. He completely understood why I was upset and worked with me including taking some money off the rental price because of the extra miles I had to put on the truck. I would never do business with the Uhaul in Fulton on the south side of town.TODD F.

I was supposed to pick the truck up at 4:30 and no one was there. I called number on door and called number on sign no answer. So I called number that was on my papers and got an answer. I asked they guy "did I it not show up in system?" He stated that he saw something that morning, but didn't look at it since he didn't put in the system. When I started loading truck there were socks and trash in the back. A little frustrating.Shirley M.
