Don't know too much about this place. First time dropping off. It was not far from my house at all. It was the night before my drop off date so I didn't get to meet anyone.

Eric LHours listed on door and website indicated they were open, but doors were locked. I had a couple of questions but wasn’t able to address these. Of course, keys could be turned in to the drop box, which I did but chose this location due to it being manned in case there were any issues.

Charles MAfter driving the truck from TX to Bama. I learned that the trucks steering is not right. The truck needs to be aligned which made driving 17 hours fun. Also the truck said it was a smooth ride. Which it was for some of the ride. But at times it would start jerking forward making not so smooth.
Stephanie RThe gentleman only asked if the truck was empty and indicated a receipt would come by email. He didn’t provide any closing instructions or would be additional charges or not. We left very confused.
AMY CCustomer Service was horrible. The employee that “helped” me was rude and unprofessional. I had asked a Simple question if U-Haul could also use personal car insurance on the equipment and the employee just took my question as if I wanted to remove the insurance that U-Haul offers which is not what I wanted. He just assumed and did not clarify with me. And when I confronted him about me wanting that U-Haul insurance added back to my purchase he said it was too late to add on. Also he did not give me the receipt to my purchase of renting the equipment which I am very upset about. He said he will send it to me thru email and he has not. I need that receipt for my job for records. If I could please be contacted for that receipt it will be very much appreciated. The confirmation number is 81836063. Roberto QOverall good experience. Wonderful customer service. Make sure that the back of truck is clean, swept bc no one wants their property (furniture, mattresses,etc) dirty/filthy.

steven mThis was a storage unit facility, one tire was bald. Gentlemen was nice but no one checked the tire for wear. I initially had a location that was a certified facility but uhaul moved me to another location at the last minute due to equipment issues and still got one with a bald tire.
Steve Si should have been notified up front the windshield has 2 significant chips.

BARBARA FThe fellow working the counter was very helpful, even when the App was giving us trouble. There is seemingly no way to rent a UHaul without the App, that should be addressed. Or, if that capability does exist, it should be made known to front line workers how to maneuver through the website when the customer does not have the App. I know we want to live in the 21st century, but as a consumer, I do not want an App on my device, when the business could have it on theirs. I would rather see the renting location have an iPad that does the checking in and out rather than the customer. Just my two cents. Overall, great experience at a helpful location.

JEFFREY MThe only problem I had was getting approved to pick up. It took an hour to get approved and another hour to get in the truck so I didn’t get started moving until 8 pm and finished at 1am. So the gas station was closed and now I’m being charged for that extra time and not filling the tank.

DAVID MFirst I made the reservation to a place closer with 2 furniture dollies, the app tells me to do to this place. Get there and no dollies and it’s farther from where I placed the order. It’s a old truck that apparently burns a lot of gas because I filled the thing up Completely and by the time I drove 9 miles in the rain slow it burned lower then when I got it. The next morning they charge me 8 a gallon for it being under and I couldn’t check it in that night when I dropped it off a day early. Horrible place to get a U-Haul from!

NATHAN BThe equipment I picked up was well maintained and clean outside. I would say it would have to an older tandem 6x12. It had numerous blemishes with x circles that were worn off. The trailer did just fine towing. It is probably due for a refresh on paint and trim.

Lee WI made a non-contact reservation that allowed 50 miles and paid on my phone as I checked in. I was forced to go inside the building as there were no further instructions after check in. The man at the desk said that since I had driven to a further location I was allowed 20 more miles to make up for the drive. He then told me I owed more money. I told him I had just paid and showed that it was in fact taken from my bank. He stated that he did not know what the charge was for and I had a balance of $40. Turns out he forced me to have insurance on the truck and trailer which I had said NO to on my online reservation. He also changed my 50 miles to 30. I went over by 18 miles and was charged an extra day because the drop off location is a dead zone for my cell phone! No one answered the 1800 number to help with my return either. Now I’ve been charged almost $300!! It was supposed to only be 150. Absolutely ridiculous

Erica GWe had to call the Uhaul spport number and it was a nightmare. the individual told us we would have to drive the truck around or come back another day because we couldnt get internet service to drop it off right then, we finally found a store close enough by to get internet service to allow us the opportunity to login to return the vehicle, this location really should have internet access for their customers to return the vehicles.
MICHAEL BThis location needs no improvement! The lady working the front desk was awesome and it all went smooth. The only issues I had was the couple days leading up to my Uhaul pick up. My location kept getting moved and rearranged, that got stressful, because we needed the uhaul truck.
Bryan IFound a battery charger in the rental truck, and they called to inform us they had it. They could have just thrown it away. Really appreciated them telling us.
Douglas VI was sent to a sin contractor of UHaul who did not have the equipment I needed. I ended up renting from a completely different company. This was the worst experience I have ever had renting anything. Tiffany Davis at your 4400 University location is awful personality and was very rude and disrespectful.
