Back of the truck was filled with dirt, sand and pieces of broken glass. The dolly was unfastened and rolling around. I spent the first 20 mins of my moving day cleaning out your truck.

No comments on how to improve. We rented a van to move some furniture to family and it worked out better than expected, I hadn't considered there were tie down hooks in the floors, we used bungy cords to secure to things didn't slide. I'd definitely rent from here again if needed

I reserved the trailer appox. 2 weeks prior to the pick up date at a location that was 5 minutes from my place of business (General Rental) for obvious convenience reasons. I received a call from Advanced self storage the day before pick up telling me they just got the rental request and that I needed to pick up the trailer at their location because my selected location did not have the requested trailer. I explained my reservation and they claimed they "just got the request" and that I needed to pick it up at their location. This was a major inconvenience for me but it seems I had no other choice. I arrived at 4:50pm and the first comment from the employee was "YOU"RE LATE, we close at 5pm and don't process rentals after 4:45" I explained my situation again and she hesitantly took care of me. Very poor service from such a large established company such as UHaul.

This was not the original pick up location we were told to come to. We were notified from the Monaca PA location while we were on our way to the store at 7:30 in the morning that she did not have our truck and could not tell us when she would have our truck. She told us to drive to 30 miles away to pick up our truck from Wexford. We started loading 5 hours after our original moving plan because of the pick up issue. This is a huge chunk of moving time.THEN after all of the hassle to pick up the truck from the new location, things seemed ok. New truck, clean, just over 500 miles on the truck. We loaded the truck and started driving. Only to find out when it was getting dark that we had NO tail lights. There was a sticker in the truck that said it passed U Haul's inspection. HOW did it pass with no tail lights? We had to stop our drive several hours early and stay in a hotel for the night due to safety and legal concerns. This is the second time we have used U Haul. The first time we had no trailer tail or break lights! 2 out of 2 times we have used U Haul we have been disappointed due to safety issues. When I called U Haul for help I was on hold for 25 minutes and gave up.
