The overhead door malfunctioned and became unable to close. Luckily this happened when we were finished and ready to return. The last time I opened the door, about a minute or two later I heard a snap or pop. I was in the trailer moving items and just attributed the sound to what I was moving. When I later tried to close the door I noticed that it had retracted further forward than normal but I reached up to grab the strap and locking unit when the door jumped to the rear and smashed my hand between the door and top of the frame. Nothing broken, but very painful and bruised. It will be fine with in a few days. I'm guessing that the spring that allows the door to move easily has malfunctioned in some way. It must have allowed the door to come under pressure and when I went to move it, it released the energy making the door jump backward.Jesse M.

The truck wasn't in good shape. The weather stripping around the windshield was coming off and flopping in the wind as I drove. This caused black marks against the cab in multiple spots. Glad it wasn't raining!!Ken L.

The cost is high for what you get (an empty truck you have to load yourself, drive yourself, and fill up yourself). I ordered a furniture dolly, but there was none. I wasn't charged foe it but it would have been good to know ahead of time because we needed it.Jody M.

This facility processed the return of the auto transport two after the contract return date resulting in extra charges. They have been very unconcerned and have provided no help in resolving this issue.TERRYVAUGHN P.
The only complaint I have is that my drop off location was changed by uhaul 24 hours before my pickup, resulting in me having to take a lot of time on the phone with uhaul to understand why this happened. Ultimately, Beth at the Kellogg at location in castle took the lead and helped meâ€¦She did a great job, but it took a lot of my time that day to get the issue resolved. Then truck I needed was within 5 miles of my home, yet uhaul changed my pick up location to over 20 miles away. It was a bad experience.Jamie C.

The truck reeked of urine, there was trash, and all the components were sticky. I dropped off my truck about 12:30am in the early morning, it was pitch black, and I accidentally left my expensive gallon water bottle and airpod holder in truck. I called and left a message around 1:15am advising that I accidentally left my water bottle and airpod holder in truck and that I would be back in the morning during regular hours to pick up. I called again at 8am, 8:30am, and 9:15am with no answer and no response. I was able to make it to the shop at ~12:15 and the receptionist said they hadn't heard the messages, the truck was already checked out, and they would call the current renter and that I should try to come by tomorrow and they might be there. By saying that, it only confirmed the truck wasn't cleaned otherwise both would have been easily observed.GABRIEL M.

Terrible experience. Would never rent thru this outfit ever again. Should be shut down had to call call center 5 times to get rental, price was $40 higher then expected. Cabin of truck was filthy with trash. The rigmarole not worth the price.Michelle H.

I did not have a problem with this location except that it was a long drive from where I needed the truck to be. I did have a problem with the whole U Haul system. Especially your online presence. I did not appreciate finding out the day before truck pick up that I was going to have to drive 80 miles round trip to get it. The message did not actually come through until 4 am that morning, but I had had so many struggles with the system, I had gone in person to the store in Denver to make sure all my reservations were in place, and the agent there told me.Arana H.

The facility was dirty, I waited ten minutes inside and finally walked around the side to ask for help and was told â€œshe is probably back inside by nowâ€. Then I was charged a $25 fee for gas. She said it was half. It was above half and needed to be at 5/8. I'm sorry there is no line at 5/8 and the gas gauge was reading in between half (4/8) and three fourths (6/8), which is 5/8. If you are gonna be that nitpicking then get a gas guard with a line at 5/8.Carol Y.

Make checking in after hours easier. When the app doesn't allow you to enter the info you request, pics, location etc. and you charge an extra day because you also didn't listen to the voice message left in the same day the trailer was returned. Questional policy follow up!GUILLERMO G.

Truck had blankets, and dolly, from previous renter, unsecured, and rolling around. Fortunately I was only moving a bed, so it didn't affect me, but still. I also have yet to recieve a receipt, they didn't want to check it in when I got back, which is ok, I guess, but I figured I'd have my closing receipt by the next day. Your online rental return application needs works. I have rented several trucks and trailers this year and never been able to successfully complete the return process. It always gets stuck on the page where you add a picture of the rental even though i have made all necessary selections (the â€œContinueâ€ option remains greyed out). Please fix this as it causes undue stress in an otherwise pleasant experience.Timothy C.
