The first location I went to on 11 Kellogg Court in Castle Rock, CO was absolutely terrible. I had an Order Confirmation # but no truck. So Uhaul call center had me go to another location in Castle Rock. It was average, no frills.

The truck we rented was filthy and definitely not sanitized. Seats, doors, windows, floor were all covered in dirt. Ash tray was full of cigarettes. It took us well over an hour to clean the truck to a satisfactory and sanitized condition. Our expectations were not met, especially during Covid-19.

I pulled the trailer into the parking lot and two attendants were present hooking up a trailer for another customer. I simply backed the trailer up, had the attendants unhook the trailer and I was on my way. The process couldn't have been easier.

I have problems with self check in. Waited more than 1 hour on the phone, finally hung up. Self check in doesn't work on the website. Couldn't get any help from CSR. Had to download the app to check in. Gas tank was only 3/4 full at pickup. Had to pay the extra $30 for gas or I'll be charged $96 for not having a full tank.

I was charged to fill the gas tank when I know the needle was showing the same level as I received the truck. I was also charged an after-hours fee for returning the truck after hours. I was in their lot well before their closing time of 4:00pm. The employee, when asked, said I did not have to come inside the office so I never got to disputed the erroneous charges.

I filled the vehicle with gas to the same level that I received it. I was charged $14.00 to fill it. I arrived prior to closing and was charged an after hours return fee. I was met an employee who said I did not have to come in when I dropped the vehicle off so I had no way of disputing the charges. Very bad business practices at this place!

I generally do not do recommendations... two complaints, windows and dashboard could have been cleaned on the cargo van... the cargo space was clean. Second, the office staff did not wear covid masks. I would think any business dealing with the public would have an interest in keeping the customers healthy, as suggested by Colorado, Douglas County and Castle Rock.

Rented numerous times and it's been fine. This time the trailer I received was filled with debri. Rocks, tree clips and glass. My husband actually got a glass shard caught in his shoe. Trailer was NOT cleaned

Provide truck with less than 142,000 miles. Ensure ALL tires have adequate tread, aren't low and free of nails. Requested number of pads - not provided. U-Haul Roadside Assistance wasn't timely. Called when started packing truck. Was told 90 minutes for roadside response. MCALISTER was actually in the area and wanted to call me but U-Haul Roadside Assistance didn't allow the call. Roadside Assistance wasn't dispatched again until we arrived to unpack the truck. MCALISTER took care of repair in timely fashion. Needed to pay for rental when picking up the truck and again when using app to drop-off?

No one was wearing a mask. I live with someone who has a compromised immune system and scar tissue throughout her lungs. Anything I catch she could get. It would be nice if they at least pretended to care whether people with chronic conditions live or die. Also van needed maintenance and crack repair.

I reserved a trailer which said it had a reservation guarantee. 45 mins prior to pickup I get a call from a coordinator (not this location) telling me the trailer is not there and absolutely did not care about the guarantee and was completely useless in getting me any assistance with another rental. I went to this location and they got me in an equivalent trailer and just needed me to slightly adjust my drop off time, which was no big deal at all. Great service by the location (again) but terrible service by the rep that called me on the phone.

The auto transport rachet-operated tire straps are so worn out and used that they came off both tires 4 times during the move. It was very frustrating and shouldn't have happened. Please invest in new straps

Couldn't of jacked up this rental more if they tried. Staff was basically nice, but waited about 45 min to get a trailer on a weekday morning. Then they double charged me and said they could do nothing about it. Rent here at your own risk.

The facility is good enough and attendant looked out for us to get the best truck for our needs. However, the online reservation system is not great. It provides pick-up/drop-off times and locations that aren't actually available for the requested service. Notification that U-Haul changed the times and location are not sent out in a timely or well expressed manner causing us to waste time driving around looking for the new location and almost missing the new, earlier pickup time.

They had the dropoff location wrong on my reservation and tried to send me out to centennial. About 45 minutes out of the way when this location was only 5 minutes from my house. Which is what I initially put as my dropoff location. Logistical nightmare from start to finish, for the second weekend in a row.

Location needs to have larger safety hooks as newer models have larger hook holes. I had to go buy 2 hooks to allow connection of chains

The clerk who handled our initial transaction was great, but there were billing errors that were made and not corrected until I called to question the charges. Donald was very polite, and wanted to help. He assured me they would be resolved and credited back to my account, but he wasn't sure why I was charged 2 different amounts in 2 transactions. I am currently waiting for the credit to appear in my bank account.
