Even though I reserved on my phone, pick up took 30 min. The cab has old French fries and other trash from a previous renter.

Incompetent personnel. Had to re-enter info, which I had done when reserved the truck and again before pick-up on line. She did not speak fluent English, difficult to understand, and it being a service station, she waited on other customers before completing my transaction. The truck was nasty dirty, seats were smeared with dirt, ashes & sticky food in cup holders, floors dirty & trash left in truck. She did not have the dolly I requested, but charged more for the appliance dolly. Would never use that location again!

The prep work that was completed during the on-line reservation was a complete waste of time. I went through the trouble of submitting my driver's license, only to have to do it again at check-in. The location for pick up was moved. and the drop off location was lost. I am not sure why I have to input so much information to only have to do it again. The lady did not even have the size truck that I ordered. I had to pick from what was on their lot. The experience was horrible and I will refrain for renting from UHaul in the future. It was a circus.

It took a long time to check out. They didn't have the size dolly I requested and they charged me $2 more for a larger one. However, they were polite and helpful.

The location I picked up at was great. It was clean, very convenient, friendly staff, and had great hours for pick up/drop off. However, U-haul as a company was a huge disappointment, and I will do my best not to rent again from them.

It was inside a convenient store and even though we had checked in online we still had to do a lot inside the store. The employee and most of the customers were not wearing masks and it was a vulnerable time due to the virus.

This is a very small station with no marked areas to return the vehicle. After parking it near other vehicles and walking through the rain to the counter, I was told I couldn't park it there and to please move it to another (specified) location. Back out through the rain, move the truck and walk back in. Didn't make for a pleasant experience.

Was sent to the wrong address by uhaul TWICE. I also requested blankets and a dollie and the pickup location had neither.

The drop off location could not find my rental info even after I showed them the information. They would not take my truck and told me to take it to another location. The other location refused to take the truck citing an expense to take the truck back to the original location. I took the truck back to the original location the next morning. They still did not want to receive it. I left it there.

I was pleased at the way, the person I dealt with took the time to inspect the truck in my presence. He was courteous and complimented me on how clean the vehicle was. No damages and I left it with more fuel than I started. The previous time I dropped off a vehicle at this location they just told me to park it in back and then bring them the key. This time was better.

The men running the gas station barely knew anything about the system and it took them 2 hours to even rent me the truck after I made a reservation. They also did not explain the return process at all, and just kinda shoved the keys at me and sent me on my way. I will not be using uhaul again.

Even though communication was great, I feel like there should be more there to let customers know that it's more than just a gas station.

I went 6 miles over. I had to drive 20 miles back to where I was loading the truck because I couldn't get a truck near even though the reservation person on the phone said I could. I returned the truck on full when all I had to do was return it on half a tank. But still got charged for going 6.5 miles over. That is crazy. I explained this to the guy I dropped it off with and he was no help. Poor, poor customer service.

There was trash in the uhaul when I picked it out. I heard something moving while I was driving. Once I got home, I opened the back and saw water bottles and cups.

It was a terrible experience. Our pickup time was 10pm and we didn't get the truck until 1am. The convience store worker refused to give us the keys. The Area Field Manager for uhaul (Kevin) had to call the store manager. We were on the phone with uhaul for hours and were never helped. My wife had to DM someone on Facebook just to get it solved.

The person at the Shell station where the drop off was located was difficult to understand and very curt. I asked her what I needed to do and she said park it behind the building then give her the key. I did so after taking several photos to show its location, fuel gauge, mileage and condition. I turned in the key and expected some sort of checklist to be gone over but it was not forthcoming. Perhaps this is how a lot of places do the rental. I may rent again but will expect better next time. I will say the vehicle performed as hoped so no problem with that and it resulted in a successful move. Thanks for that U-Haul.

I was supposed to pick up the truck at a place in Westover, y'all called my wife the day before and let us know we had to come all the way in to Birmingham to get the truck. This was an hour delay on the day of our move.

Truck was filthy and full of debris. Windshield wipers worthless. Less than half full tank when picked up. Old equipment 80,000 miles. Very sluggish. Originally told had 910 miles but was charged for extra miles. Ordered 24 blankets and was directed to second location to pick up blankets which was out of way and made me late for movers. Very unsatisfactory. Would like follow up.

While the people were nice, it is a gas station and the location itself wasn't inviting. I wouldn't recommend anyone bc I wouldn't recommmend UHAUL at all.

First of all they did not have the truck that I reserved 2-3 weeks in advance. They made not effort to find me a truck at another location. That was up to me. When I could not find one I realized this location had a smaller truck that might work, but it was reserved for another customer later that evening. Instead of renting me that truck and giving themselves the full day to find that customer another truck they were willing to send me away empty handed. When I finally had a manager convince him to lease me the truck on site they charged me full price. NO compensation for their HUGE mistake. NO compensation for their HUGE inconsideration. NEVER use this site or the Mtn Brook site. Both were pathetic.
