The man in the office, John A, was completely unprofessional and rude. Got into a creaming and cussing battle with an employee of an office in the same building. They didn’t care that my friend and I were waiting and listening to everything. He then proceeds to call his boss on speakerphone instead of dealing with us after he made us wait 45 minutes for him when he said he was just downstairs, come to find out he left and went to gas station. When I told him and the boss on the phone I didn’t have time for this, I was moving from Indy to Illinois he was rude again. I told him I was calling corporate he says well I was going to give you 50 miles off but if you’re going to call corporate and complain about me fuck you. If I didn’t have to leave the state to be in Illinois today I would’ve canceled the truck. I have never been treated nor talked to like that ever. My corider Erin Williams was a witness and heard all of this and more. There is so much more to write Did I mention this was the 3rd uhaul place we went to today because you all switched my reservation from where I wanted to pick it up twice. I was two hours behind schedule dealing with this. I honestly doubt I will ever use uhaul again, especially in Indianapolis.

There was no service and so it took forever to self-checkout on the U-Haul website and app. It is nice to be able to it all yourself though, and the keys were easy to find and my rental was ready to go.

The place is tucked away and not lit at all at night. I filled the gas tank up to what looked like they 7/8 mark and they still charged my 20 for gas even after putting gas in the vehicle. I would not recommend this location to anyone

We dropped it off after hours. The drop off key box was hard to find. They called the next morning to ask if I had the key? I put it inside the box.

It was very hard to find and when I went to return the truck the office inside the building was hard to find and even though the door said they were open, the door was locked. There was a phone number on the door to call. I called but no answer. I ended up dropping the keys in the drop box and leaving hoping I wouldn't be charged any extra fees. It all worked out but it was stressful and time consuming in the moment.

I ordered 2 dollies and when opened the back of the truck there was only 1. Didn't help that as we needed 2. Took me more time to move everything. The rest was OK. The guy who received the unit was helpful and polite. Thanks

The location was one of the vans outside of a building that isn’t marked very well. Had no idea where to drop anything off. Pulled in and parked and was asked very condescendingly if I didn’t see where all the other trucks were parked. I got back in and moved the truck 15 feet back. The gentleman working was an unhappy and rude slob of a man. Handed him the keys, thanked him for being so kind and left. Just unfortunate that my very smooth experience had to end with such a turd.

The individual I dropped the truck off to was nice enough. I told him that I had rented a dolly but it wasn’t with the truck when I picked it up. He said he’d reimburse me but I wasn’t reimbursed and instead I was charged $3 for extra mileage.

I have NEVER received the Best Customer service in my life. I came in there scared, confused, and feeling upset. John the man at the office was SUPER NICE, PLEASANT, PATIENT, SWEET, CONCERNED, FRIENDLY, but most of all Pleasant. I'm in tears thinking about the service I received for this move. It had not been for him I don't think I could've done this move. Thank you Soooo Much John you made my day. I will never forget you. God Bless.

The mobile app experience and getting a uhaul reserved is a poor and repetitive experience. Before confirming my uhaul I was specific in wanting state street as it was closest to my house. When I’m at checkout it suddenly changes my pickup to 10 miles away. I have to talk to a rep over a call to change the address back to my original request. Then when I arrive to this location, I already entered my drivers license and selected I didn’t want insurance and all the add ons when I set it up the first time. Then I gotta sit in the parking lot, share and enable location services in safari which I don’t normally use. Use the one time code twice (once in chrom then on safari because it froze), and re-enter it all again. Once I finally reentered everything with the two time passcode, I find the uhaul and it claims I can skip the line with the mobile pickup. We’ll I go up to the 3rd floor and 4 people are in line for a really small office for 2 people. We got there at 10 and didn’t get our key until 1030 because the guy wasn’t even in the office for the first 10 min. Then when we get out key, I take a photo of the odometer and it doesn’t even read all the digits as it keeps flashing. I’m not late for my appt to pickup the furniture I wanted. The cost estimate in the website is also very dicieving as it doesn’t include gas fillip, mileage, and the cost of the truck. If I knew I’d be out 80 dollars and have just an overall very frustrating experience I wouldnt have moved forward. When I when through the return exoerience, i got no confirmation that I was checked out or anything. I don’t want to use uhaul again. Overall a really bad experience.

First truck was missing, or had a faulty, catalytic converter. U-Haul staff on site was very helpful and got us into a new truck pretty quickly - no complaints there. This delayed us over an hour and caused further problems during the day.

The U-Haul employee John was very helpful. He pushed the utility dolly and the furniture Dolly's downstairs for us. The price that I was charged was fair and generous. I rented for 6 hours and went 7 hrs pass that was charged a fair and expected price. The only to hing that I can say as about making improvements for the next customer is to have this location be open on Mondays. So that weekend renters can get their total bill come first thing Monday morning.

I wish I could have done part of the check in process in advance e.g., submitting my driver licence (driver pre-approval). It was very cold and doing all these steps outdoors was not the most comfortable experience. Also, it took me a while to find out how I should check out when returning a van. Some text message with a specific link to return procedure would be handy.

The gentleman that was at the Uhaul office was very personable and kind. I think Uhaul would benefit from attaching small GPS units to their vehicles to help track mileage and prevent theft or even assist the authorities or first responders in accidents that may occur while someone is operating the vehicle.

The key for my 10’ reservation wasn’t available and I was upgraded what I was told free of charge and was charged for the 15’. I had waited over a hour to get into contact with someone after my scheduled time in order to complete my reservation. The truck itself needs serious transmission and alignment attention and general maintenance. I would like a partial refund for being charged for a truck I didn’t reserve because the key for the one I did, wasn’t available.
