The manager who goes by "Rock" was extremely rude and disrespectful. I had a change of credit card and called multiple times to update. I'm a military contractor so I am out of the country months at a time. When I returned I was two months past due so I called to pay and asked that the late fees be removed because the location did not updated my card. Rock called me cheap and accused me of being broke. He assumed I was broke and refused to believe my side of the story. After 5 years of renting I paid my bill and moved out the same week. Very unprofessional and I will be recommending to everyone to avoid that place. He should not be managing, Poor representation of customer service and poorer execution. We had pre-ordered 2 sets of furniture pads which were not available as they were all out of pads. Also, the staff was very rude during the whole check in process. Then, we were given a truck with no tread on the back two tires so as we were driving we almost spun out and could not break properly. We did not realized this until after we loaded the truck with our stuff because it began to rain and the truck suddenly had no good breaking abilities. This was extremely dangerous. How do you let people rent trucks with bad tires. This is dangerous and life threatening. It was an awful experience all around. Please make sure you have the supplies people request the day of (furniture pads, dollies etc) and make sure your trucks are in drivable condition!Laura I.

I went in under the premise that there was a cargo van available according to uhaul's site. I was told it wasn't available and that there was nothing available. So me and my co-worker went outside and proceded to try and contact any other facilities that may have something available. Meanwhile two pretty good looking girls walked in, didn't think anything of it. Internet was bad there but eventually I was able to make a reservation. Unfortunately, It was for the location I was at so I walk back in to let them I have a reservation. As I walk in I overhear the workers interacting with the young ladies and them telling the pick-up might work so they proceed to take them outside and show them the truck. I, then, tell that I reserved a pick-up truck. The guy proceeded to tell me that it doesn't matter what it said online because they don't really know. I, then, asked the gentleman why he would rent the truck to them and not myself. Then he tells me that he has 2 pick-ups available after I was previously told there was nothing available. I don't understand and I would never let this guy represent MY company.David B.

Would recommend because it's the only one I could find to receive the equipment on the destination side. I used this drop site last year. clean up the drop sites on your web results. Went to one site that was being torn downâ€¦ that was the recommended drop off point I received via text. Terribale experience at the tail end of the rentalâ€¦ the last thing I'll remember. This was the third location to which I was sent after being on hold for 35 minutes. The system for redirecting clients when the proposed equipment is not available is POOR as best. The end service received from Acorn was spot and I have no issue with them. UHaul reservations and traffic should all be fired and a new plan of approach effected. We got there to pick up blankets prior to move and about four of them were stuffed in my trunk unfolded. I had to take them out myself and folded them myself. When I picked up the truck, they did not have a hand truck I reserved on line. They sent me to a different location which didn't have one either. So I had to go buy one at Home Depot. My movers back at hope where sitting there for an additional hour waiting for me to get back (had to pay an additional $100). It was a fiasco. I would assume, the location would make sure they have everything that was on the reservation but I guess that's to much trouble. Overall, it was a negative experienceAvelino G.
The trailer we rented was littered in horse maneuver when we picked it up to move furniture. The location also didn't have any moving supplies although the website let us boom a furniture dolly and furniture pads and I never received a call back from the Pompano location to cancel the ratchet straps despite being on hold for 40 minutes and speaking with a rep at the 800 number being promised a returned call. I am a frequent renter of vehicles, not only trucks. I always make sure to return vehicles to the proper fuel level. I did so for this rental. I was charged a $30 fee plus the cost of 4 gallons of fuel. I filled the vehicle immediately before returning it. Additionally, I estimated I would drive approximately 20 miles for this rental. I drove 15 but was charge for 20. I have been trying to call the rental location repeatedly this morning and keep getting put on hold with no one coming back to the line. One time someone answered and then immediately hung up. I may have to contest this additional charge unless we get this correctedJeffrey L.

The employees were super rude and wouldn't rent anything unless I had a reservation. I told them online the equipment says it's available and I was looking at at least 3 different trailers. I made the reservation online while in store and they said sorry we don't have the equipment. 5 mins later I sent a friend in with my reservation number and they gave him the equipment they said â€œwasn't availableâ€. I don't know why they were so lazy and rude. There was literally no one else in the store , they were not busy. Plus I live close to that uhaul and dove by it several times that day, the other trails that I would have rented never left the lot all day.Jackson H.
