We picked up the truck in Gooding on very short notice after we were told that no truck was available in Hailey, the location we had booked. Nonetheless, the truck and the location personnel were ready--very professional.

Be sure to complete your application and payment on line, otherwise, if you rent a truck inside the store you might find it takes most of an hour to get a truck, and after all of that, it still might not be right and one has to start all over and do it again. My viewpoint is from two experiences and from watching other customers. The staff is nice and desires to do right. When I attempted to adjust the drop-off site at the time of rental at the store and with customer service, I found that couldn't be done, and that I had to call scheduling to do that. It was a Sunday morning while on the road when I called to do just that. A man answered and I told him of my reservation difficulties and he repeatedly apologized about that. I suggested U-Haul help the store with training. He said he only works this job one day a week, Sunday, and frankly didn't care about that. I believed him. It also turned out the drop-off site he scheduled for me couldn't accept the truck.

The First Location in Twin Falls lost our truck. Literally.. I had made the reservation more than a week in advance and then drove from Weiser Idaho to Twin Falls about 230 miles to find out the truck was not there. I left work early to get there by 7 pm so we could have the truck at the loading place by 7 am (that is when our help was to arrive) only to be told they couldn't find our truck. We had to call our crew on a Friday night and tell them we had to drive to Gooding to pick up a truck in the morning (they don't open until 8:30 am) then drive back to Twin Falls load the truck and get back to Caldwell Idaho by 1 pm (this is when the unloading crew is arriving). Gooding was great but the Twin Falls location was unbelievable.

Horrible experience I rented a 15” driving uhaul on the 22nd of April and returned it on the 23 i was charged an extra $100 and told it would be refunded back to me if I paid using a card on the 24 i then received an email saying that I would be getting a check refunded to me for the $100 within one week they wrote my address down wrong on the paperwork and when they read it back to me I told them they had it incorrect and told them the proper address (still wasn’t fixed apparently) I waited 10 days before contacting them to let them know I never received a check After 5 days of not knowing anything and getting no response I emailed again and informed them That this was my second time emailing and that I never got a response the first time so I called and was told that they had sent it to the wrong address and they would reissue me another check which I was supposed to receive within three days that was 4 days ago. yesterday I received a call from uhaul asking if the issue had been resolved I told them yes that I was told I would be receiving my check within 3 business days the person said ok and ended the conversation I was pleased thinking the issue was resolved when in fact it was not today on the 11th of March I received another email stating that whatever information I was given was inaccurate because it takes 2 weeks to reissue a new check and they have to void out the old one and then send me another one which takes another 7 days so now they are going to put the money back on to my card instead of sending me a check which is what they should have done in the first place this place is a joke don’t waste your time instead of taking the original 7 business days I have waited a total of 20 days to finally get a straight answer and Another 3 to finally receive the money so in total it will have taken 23 days almost one whole month to receive that money absolutely ridiculous

Dropped truck and trailer off after hours. Had to drop off in Gooding instead of Wendell because the location we were given in Wendell was no longer in business.
