I was very disappointed w the vehicle. I made a loud nosise while running and had no A/C and it was in the 90s when it was rented. I asked if we could get a discount because of it, and was told no, as corporate would have to do that. We are repeat customers w uhaul, used them many times, and sadly had a disappointing experience.

I did the online check in and they had no way to process this so I had to do the entire check process again. I had to wait a long time as they only had 1 person working the U-Haul counter. I never got a receipt either.

I'm not really sure if I'd reccomend them or rent again. I recieved the vehicle with less than a full tank and returned it with more fuel than I rented it with and was not given any sort of adjustment. There was also stuff left in the truck from the last renter and what seemed to be blood on the wall. I have photos. The check engine light was on. I understand being short staffed and all but if I return a vehicle with more fuel than I rented it with . I expect some sort of adjustment. Maybe I'm out of line but it just doesn't seem right.

Mike was very helpful. This location has good selection of trucks and trailers. The U-haul shop operations within the Ace Hardware make for easy walk-in service, plus convenient for additional supplies if needed. Very satisfied

I could not get in to the UHaul sight to do the drop off / check in. I tried several times and it kept giving me a error code that my reservation timed out .. this wax very frustrating.

The Uhaul App would not allow me to check my rental car trailer back in. My drop off time was for 9pm Friday night and I was back on the lot at 8:47pm. I did everything the app asked me to do and at the end where it asked for a picture of the trailer it would not except any photos I tried to summit. I left email and contacted Uhaul site and I received nothing back. Was charged extra and well be contacting soon to dispute charge.

Be sure to explain upfront that a 5x8 trailer is not 5x8 of cargo space. The 48" mower I picked up was almost impossible to load and unload. The FINE print says its 51.5" of loading space. Should be better advertised and disclosed.

My truck choice got changed two times because they ended up not getting what I originally ordered, and I was told by the worker that called me from grand rapids, and a worker at ace that I would get a discount and I did not. Was a little bummed. Otherwise a good experience.

Truck would barely idle and chugged horribly resulting in piss poor fuel economy costing me more money in gas. I own a 1 ton truck and in 40 miles the gas gauge doesn't move. 37 miles of city driving 45mph average or lower and uses a 1/4 tank of gas with the Uhaul truck. Steering is horrible and brakes squeal.

Truck was dated, 130K+ miles, was an in-town move, so not too concerned. Back lift door could use some W-D 40. Used the “moving help” option, movers were excellent.

We did a mobile check in. This is the 3rd time we have done a mobile check in and each time it has taken 40 minutes or more and having to fill in information already om file. We rented a refrigerator dolly and it was not in the truck so we had to go inside and get one.

I as a woman renting moving by myself would have appreciated the guy coming out to the truck with me just to see if I had any questions.He did not offer .He never looked me in the eye .He gave me the oldest truck he had.I was traveling over 200 miles with it..Good thing I went on line to see how it all worked tailgate lift and all because he never asked.

First, the Uhaul app and website are not helpful. When I got to the location, the app would not load at all. Uhaul.com kept telling me I was in the wrong location. I had to go inside. The cargo area was filthy. Leaves, pieces of plastic and broken glass, chunks of concrete I have photos if you would like to see. The ramp had dried mud and leaves all over it. The truck itself, somehow with its low mileage is in need of serious mechanical service. The ignition is loose, the alignment is off - steering wheel is about a half-turn off center. And something is groaning from underneath, driveshaft, wheel bearings, something. There is a "wind shudder" from inside the cab when driving, like one of the windows or doors does not seal properly.

I picked up my rental on 2/24/22 @10:30am. Rental was for 48hrs. Return time was 2/26/22 @10:30am. At 3:18pm 2/25/22 I received a call and voicemail asking me what my return time “looked” like because “they” had another customer wanting to rent a truck similar to what I had rented. Before I had the opportunity to call the number back regarding my return, I received a text from Keith, the Area Manager for my location at 3:45pm 2/25/22, stating that he has someone needing my truck at 9:00am 2/26/22 and wondering when I might be done with the truck. I responded by text to Keith stating that “I could have the truck back in a couple hours if need be” Then I asked if there would be a discount on my rental bill. (I asked because I had rented it until 10:30am 2/26/22 fully expecting to pay the amount I was quoted). Then when I'm contacted 19hrs before my scheduled return about timing of my return, I was a little surprised. I never received a response from Keith, I ultimately did drop what I was doing to get the truck returned at 6pm 2/25/22 (16-1/2hrs before I had to) And upon the mobile checkout and payment, I was charged the full amount for a 2 day rental. To recap… if representatives of Uhaul are going to contact paying customers about timing and asking if they'll be back sooner than required, so another sale can take place, then I think that customer should be compensated for the time they didn't use, so another sale can take place.

The person who helped with the rental at the store front was great. However, I was disappointed with the hay I found under the snow in the trailer bed. My major frustration was with the return process via the UHaul App. Spent over an hour trying to get photo of trailer bed to upload.

This was my third uhaul rental at this location. The staff is always friendly, efficient and professional. The equipment is always ready upon my arrival for check out. The staff always makes sure the trailer is properly hooked up and that all turn signal and brake lights work. The staff instills confidence that the uhaul equipment is safe and reliable. I'll continue to rent from this location for all my uhaul needs.

I understand the trucks get used, but this truck was a dump. It was rough riding and the cab was really dirty, seats were torn and overall pretty sad looking. We had belt noises and it literally took nearly 7 gallons for the 28.5 miles I drove the vehicle. I believe this is Uhauls issue more than the facilities. The customer service rep at the facility were very friendly and understanding.

I want to say that the lady who helped us when we first got there was extremely nice & Helpful.. we got to the truck & started right up & died went back in and a gentleman came out to help as he also finally got it started and then once again it died, they did not have another truck available but then said if we could be back before 4 we could take the one they had going out later that day … so everything was going well they did call to let us know that another truck was returned so we would be all set keeping it later.. when I went to return the truck at 5:02 is when I ran it to another problem I downloaded the app but it kept telling me that I did not have a truck out so I couldn't check it in I called the #on the app to get help when it said that the wait time was over 30 minutes because they were helping other family's I could not wait 30 minutes to check in the truck so I'm assuming that I got charged a extra 20 dollars because I couldn't get anyone to get help from … I wish that there was a better way if your 2 minutes late that I could have gotten someone to help me …

I didnt need the dolly or moving blankets and declined their use at rental, they were still bolted inside the truck at the rear in a manner that not only took up usable space, but also blocked loading access to the entire right side of the truck. I asked to have them removed as I didnt want them, but was told if they took them out I would be charged for their use.... as such we had to load around them which made our moving experience more difficult than it had to be.
