I didnt need the dolly or moving blankets and declined their use at rental, they were still bolted inside the truck at the rear in a manner that not only took up usable space, but also blocked loading access to the entire right side of the truck. I asked to have them removed as I didnt want them, but was told if they took them out I would be charged for their use.... as such we had to load around them which made our moving experience more difficult than it had to be.

The parking lot was pitch dark, there were no signs or instructions for where to park, The Ace Hardware was open, but the UHaul hours don't match the Ace Hardware and there was no one there from Uhaul. The UHaul software BLOWS, and the checkout procedure BLOWS. I will never rent a uhaul again because of the self check-in crap.

The only thing not correct with my order was that I was charged for the dolly and furniture dolly and they were not in the truck for my after hours pick up. I attempted to reach out via the chat option online and when connected with a rep the chat window automatically closed and I was not able to have a conversation with them.

Thanks to a the U-Haul GM for the Northern Michigan Region, I had concerns on the tires as they were cupped and down to 3/32 and we were doing a round trip to Western Montana over 4000 miles and he replaced the two tires without question which gave great peace of mind. {Thank You Greg)

Poor explanation of an additional non-refundable $60 deposit, which was not quoted when the original reservation was made. I have rented several uhauls from different locations and have never been charged this. The quoted reservation price has always been the price ultimately charged.

The gal that I worked with at the counter to pick up the truck was fast and knowledgeable. I was in and out with the truck in far less time than I thought. When I pick up another truck someday I hope she is there.

Brian was exceptional in getting my transaction ready especially when I needed to confirm by electronic text where he'd pulled out his personal device that already had the Uhaul App downloaded to scan my Driver License to begin the possible Sunday automated return process. He was also very aware of my privacy concerns as a single woman in referencing aloud my phone number

I tried to let U Haul know via their app that the U Haul was back by the designated time, which happened to be after hours. App would not accept my location. When I tried to call the toll free number it was a 63 minute wait to speak to someone so I asked to be called back as that was listed as an option. Never received call back and was charged $20 to return truck without letting them know I was back by agreed upon time. Very frustrating!

Pick up was great. Drop off was terrible. The app did NOT work for returning the vehicle and the call wait time was 48 minutes for help. Will not be using UHaul again if the service fee is not removed.

Make your return policy easier. I was unjustly charged $20 convenient fee for your mistake. I brought it it back within 7 hours to a 24 hour rental. Your code expired so I phoned with a 1 hour wait. Registered for a call back. Got it and was disconnected by your automated system. I want my $20 back. I did everything right!

we rented 3 trailers. The front ty down straps ratchets all need to be lubed to work properly. If you could get them locked you could hardly get them to release. Needed some WD40.

There was no one at the site where we rented the truck that could answer our questions. Your web site was difficult for my husband and myself...maybe you could write a program that is better suited for us senior citizens! Not having someone to represent your company on site is not acceptable! If there is another occasion that we need to rent a truck, we will certainly NOT go to U-Haul!!!

The trailer kept blowing our fuses. There was a ground loose. Figured that out after we unloaded our wood. We had trouble figuring out the app to check the trailer in and it charged us a late drop off as well as an extra day. That seems crazy! The lady just didn't care when I called to talk to them.

We originally reserved a 26ft truck from universal rent in Cadillac. When we arrived on-site they said they had no vehicle for us. There was no help from the rental company or uhaul. We were able to get the trailer in traverse city, but with the size we had to make multiple trips and we were not able to complete our move. We did not get one sorry from any one and it seems like uhaul couldn't care less about us.

No windshield wiper fluid. Van was dirty on the outside which was OK , it just surprised me and I worried I would be held accountable for the previous renters dirt. It would be nice if I was told to bring contract with me for pickup using the 24/7 app. It delayed picking up the van but the ladies from the help desk of UHaul were FABULOUS and made my day.
