Went to drop off truck, middle of the day. Open sign in the window illuminated. Not a soul around. No idea heh. Truck return was simple and straight forward on the website. Just a few pictures and keys in the Dropbox. Hence the avg star rating... NA.

Don't rent here. Mine and about 30 other units were broken into the weekend after Xmas and the thieves cleaned out my unit. The thieves had free acees to the property due to the gate being removed to be replaced . That took multiple weeks. When I asked the management if they were going to do anything about it they said I should have gotten renters insurance. I shouldnt have to have renters insurance when I am paying $70 a month to have my stuff behind a secured gate. I asked the on-site management why they didn't have a security guard while there was no gate and was told that corporate didn't want to pay for one. Do yourself a favor a rent a unit anywhere but here.

Check engine light came on and stayed on right at the beginning of the one way trip. Fuel mileage seemed to suffer, possibly from whatever malfunction occured.

Nobody was there to receive the rental. I just left the truck and deposited the key in their key drop. I didn't have any problems with the return so I'm giving a 5-star rating because it forces me to give a rating (as opposed to N/A) and I don't want to penalize this branch when my problems with U-Haul aren't this branch's fault. I'm putting N/A on the rest.

Require a walk through inspection of vehicle with location and renter. I placed insurance on my reservation, also ordered a dolly and furniture dolly, none of the aforementioned was on my contract. A chip that occurred before I rented cracked out, now I'm on the hook for damage that originated prior to my taking of the truck.

Called location to see if I could return truck a day early and received not call back. When I arrived not one was there and didn't have any information on what I was to do. A gentleman was at the facility that rents a storage unit from them and he told me what he had seen other people do so I did this and left. Must of been the right think to do as I didn't hear back from anyone that it wasn't. The truck did run good and was in good condition.

No one was at location. Said to call number on the door as they were working at another location. Called Uhaul and they asked me to leave it there. I left then realized I needed to be at the truck to self checkout. Left VM and no one returned my call. I know they wanted this 20ft truck and I was done three days earlier. Should be some type of rebate if Uhaul calls and asks if you are done.

The guy at this location helped me out because a lady at a near by location decided that she wasn't coming to work that day and either was her computer. Her responsibility as a uhaul dispatcher should be revoked. I don't have the time to type it out but the story I have from my uhaul experience I couldn't make up if it weren't for this mans ability to perform well at his job. made my moving experience continue as planned. The location was great and the employee was very nice. The truck however was in poor condition. The drivers side window rattled excessively while rolled up. The passenger side mirror would not stay up to allow a clear view behind the vehicle as it kept dropping down. Also the windows were filthy.

Be open on the weekend. Also before charging someones acct for mileage make sure that the mileage was correct in the first place, and take in effect that you were left with almost a full tank of gas and we only received it with less than 1/3 of a tank. To charge us that much money for mileage isn't right when you got all that gas back, considering we paid $3.89 a gallon for it. I want a refund of the 23.32 you charge me.
