The lady that hooked up our trailer did not inform us that the break lights on the trailer DID NOT WORK. We were almost all the way through Texas before we found out from passing drivers in the middle of the night. This is not ok and WE CPULD HAVE DIED and /or caused a major accident. I as terrified when I found out. We had to travel for the next few days with the hazards on. Would not recommend uhaul to a friend. REALLY REALLY REALLY BAD. VERY UNHAPPY.

Keep up the excellent work !! My equipment was ready when promised and fit for purpose ! I was very impressed with the person that rented me the equipment - very professional and answered all questions without hesitation or delay. With her help I was able to get off to a great start! Will definitely rent from this location again !

I've rented many Uhaul trailers before and I have never been charged an extra day for returning the trailer 30 mins late, especially since the return time is the same time the location closed. I will never rent from this location again.

When dropping off the rented equipment, I was told, at the pickup store, that I would be able to be reimbursed for at least one day left in the rental. When I went to the drop off location (not even 24 hours later) I was told by the rep there that there is not a refund to be given for a day not used. This was the third time this has happened to me by a Uhaul vendor. It is for this reason (being the 3rd time) I will no longer rent from Uhaul, nor would I recommend using this company as your first priority when moving or hauling equipment. I think this is poor customer service. I think if this is not part of the agreement of Uhaul, it should never be stated by an employee.

Be very clear on when you have to pay two days versus one day. We asked about the day rental and was then billed for two days.

We ordered from Ambassador Caffrey location in lafayette. I had to drive to New Iberia. Never said if Ambassador Caffery had one or not. I could have checked somewhere else in Lafayette

I originally reserved to pickup at a location in Franklin, then they changed me to a location 23 miles up the road in Morgan City. Then on the day before my rental pickup they changed me to 32 miles pickup in the opposite direction of new Iberia. Felt like this took advantage of my need for the truck .

I reserved a certain size uhaul truck, reservation went through, received a call days later and was informed by reservation needed to be changed because what I reserved was no longer available. Thus, I had to pay more at the end of the day due to me making more trips then planned because the truck I reserved was no longer available.

My only problem is I kept calling to let the store know I’ll be 2 hrs late to deliver the rental because of traffic. I called and called , but no answer at all. So now they charge me me for a 3rd day.

Employees were not friendly. Didn't seem to care if I rented there are not. The touchpad didn't work and they charged me for the insurance after I declined it. We had to go through a long process to refund my card and neither lady seemed to know how to get it done. They finally figured it out but were not able to give me an adjusted receipt. I asked for a different appliance dolly since the one they gave me was bent, and they had an attitude over that simple request.

This comment has nothing to do with either pick-up or drop-off locations. This comment is in reference to U-Haul's online reservations. On the morning of the pick-up date I was informed the trailer I reserved was not available and there was not another one the same size within a 100 miles so I had to settle for something less. When you look at the website during the rental process it says "guaranteed reservation" Due to the inability of U-Haul to honor their "guaranteed" reservation, I cannot recommend U-Haul to anyone.

Only had one person working and the wait was longer than usual. Already inconvenienced because the truck was not where I reserved it so I ended up paying more mileage than anticipated. Attendant was very courteous on the bright side and got us out as fast as she could considering she was there alone.
