Have a location where it’s an ACTUAL business, and not just an empty warehouse that’s only open for 2 hours 2 days of the week.

A way to drop off the rental equipment (blankets or Dolly's). Leaving them in the back which is unlocked is waiting for theft, provide a lock which opens with the truck key, or key on the same ring.

Had no idea where to go once we entered the building, the UHaul desk was at the back. My card was charged twice for the rental - once with a fuel surcharge and a double charge for the dolly, and once for the amount that was agreed to. Still waiting to have this corrected, but overall not impressed with the entire experience.

The uhaul dealer Gordan was easy to get along with, but when I asked questions regarding some of the services he couldn't confirm or deny. He needs to be more informed about uhaul services. The uhaul truck I rented was not clean prior to using it either. Which was unacceptable, because I would of got charged $25.00 if I didn't clean it after my use. Also, I was charged taxes which I clearly showed my Status card to him. He did write the number on the form, but the taxes did not come off my total. With the bill- I was also charged a "Safe trip fee"- When I spoke with Gordon about it, he had no clue what it was, I tried explaining but he said if he dont see it, I will not be getting charged for it, but was charged for it. I was a little disappointed; as I parked my car at the lot in front of the building and there was a note on my car saying they took a photo of my car and if I remained parked there I would be towed. I wasn’t sure if I could park there; however where else was I to leave my car to drive the uhaul?! Maybe for future customers let them know where exactly where they may park. Other then that experience was good; uhaul worked well for us.

One problem was waiting until the last day to find out where to pick up my truck..a little stressful not knowing where...and no Visa available to pay with only credit card.

Unfortunately i could not possibly recommend UHAUL to anyone i know because i would never endorse a company who denies certain segments of the population their basic human rights. UHAUL at the pick up location had no idea how to accept the native tax card. The CSR called his manager. His manager said to charge the customer and tell them to claim back the tax on their year end income tax. This is false information . You can only claim these taxes on your income tax if you are a business. By denying natives their Right to use their tax card, you are engaging in a human rights violation. And the only reason the CSR gave us as to why he could not do it, was that it was an American system and it is not set up for that. That is no excuse, you are operating a business within Canada. Know your communities and know your tax laws especially since you operate with 30 minutes of an Indian Reserve. And i don't want to throw the CSR under the bus because he did only what he was instructed to do. And i believe even he felt uncomfortable with his lame response. Therefore i could never recommend a company that would deny basic human rights to a particular segment of the population. Shame on you for treating Canadians this way. You live and work in Canada. You should respect ALL Canadians.

This location is a hole in the ground. There is no staff - just a drop box. If it weren't for 3-4 other Uhaul vans in the parking lot I would not even have known it was a drop off location.
