My biggest suggestion is to definitely make it clear if a truck does NOT have a ramp. I rented a 10' truck to move my disabled daughter's things into storage while she is hospitalized. We had to move a hospital style bed and an electric wheelchair. Imagine my surprise when there was no ramp and we had picked up towards the end of the day, so I couldn't reach anyone to see about changing our rental, making this small move almost impossible.

Eric M.My reservation was not upheld. I was sent to 4 different locations. I talked with gentleman who checked and talked to Abingdon rentals. They were able to get me on the road with a truck and car hauler. I had reservations for a 15 ft truck and ended up with a 26ft truck. I would have extra space in the 16ft truck. Extra stress on top of extra gas for a larger truck.

Donald B.All utility trailers should have a dolly in the tongue. Sometimes a customer will need use of the towing vehicle during loading of trailer. If the tongue is placed on the ground it is near impossible to lift onto a hitch. A Dolly would make it simple

Robin S.Uhaul has shown to me they overbook reservations and then scramble to fill trucks with customers. I made a reservation at a site in Christiansburg for a certain time/date 6 weeks in advance to only learn 2 days prior that my 15 foot truck was unavailable. Although I was then allocated to Abingdon 100 miles away for pickup and drop-off with concession, the convenience factor was out the toilet. The Abingdon site was superb but the corporate management of vehicles is way below par and I will never rent from nor recommend UHaul again.

Channing T.I had originally reserved the truck in my hometown of Damascus. I confirmed the reservation four days before our start date and was told all was good to go. But all was not good to go, for when I showed up on the morning of the fourteenth, I was told that there was no truck for me, and I would need to call the Abingdon office for one. Thankfully Abingdon had one and I was able to be on my way with only a hour and a half delay. I was told by the Abingdon office that Uhaul doesn't guarantee the pick up location. Then why make a reservation? And why is there no phone call, email, or text to say what the deal is? With all of the sign up work and tracking of vehicles, why couldn't I get a simple communique stating I need to go somewhere else? Instead, I show up at the right place at the right time, and I got nothing.
