The cab was full of dog hair, the drink holder was full of water that was being used as a water dish for said dog, and there was a chip in the windshield that cracked and spread. The chip was under the windshield wiper, so it was not noticeable when we drove off the lot. I called UHaul to report it but waited on hold forever with no answer and gave up.Katrina P.

Went to pick up unit after hours after setting up 24/7 check out. Upon arriving I realized the check in time they selected (after moving me from another location to this one) was later than we arrived. Had to sit on hold for 15 minutes to get it checked out. While on hold, owner showed up (after hours) and told me 24/7 wasn't an option because the truck keys were locked inside anyway, even though there was a key box. Ended up that the key was actually in the box, but the dollies were not in the unit. If he hadn't happen to drive by, I would not have gotten the dollies.Michael L.

the gentleman who helped up was very short, abrupt, and no friendly. I only needed the truck for 1 day, but had to rent for 2 days. He gave us no location for drop off, just told us there were 5 locations in the area we could return to, but gave us no address. When we called for locations he told us to use our smart phone and google it. When you google Overland Park it lists more than 5 locations. We have a uhaul in Salina, but was told we had to go 25 miles to get the truck and then we were treated this way. Not good for business, name of business, or for return business.lynette W.

My major complaint is corporate scheduling. EVERY TIME I reserve a trailer (doesn't matter if it's 6 months in advance) I have to drive 45 minutes (one way) IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION to pick up a trailer!!! It has NEVER been at the location I requested. Corporate is rude and they outright lie. Whoever schedules needs to be fired!! Hire a new team!! Do you read these reviews???Dawn T.
Owner was condescending, asked for a Wrench to switch ball hitch. Was scoffed at. He then pulled fuses from who knows what slot toâ€fix my turn signalâ€ never fixed anything. Ridiculed my maneuvers with trailer which I followed on the directions. Ultimately corrected the electrical fault. Was insulted when I informed the gentleman of the equipment status. The onlline check in process is too long and difficult. Also, Uhaul needs to get a better mileage calculator because I took the most direct route possible from pick-up to drop off and the mileage that I was allowed was 10 miles SHORT of getting to my destination! Best Uhaul experience you could ask for. We were in a bind and shop owner bent over backwards to help us out getting a trailer rented...even after hours. Customer service was way above and beyond and we certainly appreciated that!Scott R.
It was nice to drive a new truck with cruise control really reduced driver fatigue and helped with gas mileage. However as I am not a tall person when I moved the seat up the seat belt was irritating my neck. Also the driver side mirror would not adjust and had to constantly move my head and body to check traffic.Curtis S.

We went to the Uhaul in Salina on Ohio street to reserve our truck 3 weeks in advance of when we were moving. 2 days before we were to pick it up my wife gets a call that she has to drive 30 miles to Abilene to get the truck. She called the Salina store to have the truck there like we had been told it would be and they informed her that they didn't have to have the truck there if she still wanted it she would have to drive to Abilene and get it. I was already in ND where we were moving so she had no choice but to find someone to take care of getting it to Salina for her. It was a real chicken shit move on Uhaul to add that stress to her. Will not use Uhaul again for that reason.van R.
This woman here at this location was too busy on a personal call for 10 min.. before just bluntly said got a trailer to drop off and she continued on the phone by the time we pulled the trailer up by the others unattached it done turned around and parked again she finally decided to slowly come out with a nasty look on her face .( Rude as All get out). Then was very nasty and shitty so she needs a lesson in good customer service................................... The person that checked me out had no idea what she was doing. Took 30 minutes to complete the check out and would have been longer if another associate hadn't shown up and took over.HELEN F.
The vehicle was old, had very little power and was past the time when it should have been moved into the local-rental only fleet. In addition, we were forced to assist the location with loading 5 dozen furnature pads as they were not loaded ahead of time. We also had to drive an additional 40 minutes to this location as U-Haul was unable to ensure that the truck we rented was moved to a location in-town (even though the truck was rented at least 2 weeks ahead of time. The breaks where worn almost to the point of being dangerous and the vehicle had very little power and was almost unable to make it up any of the steeper inclines in Colorado. If we ever need to rent a larger vehicle for moving, we will be sure to look elsewhere as I know that other companies offer more powerful and newer vehicles as part of their one-way-fleet.KASEY F.
