The truck I rented was dirty when I got it, but they gave me a discount which really helped me out. When I dropped off my trailer, they were super helpful despite how busy they were and made time to help me with parking in the small space, and were accomodating with the juggling I needed to do to get my move done.

BRENDAN BeauchampThis was an awful experience. The truck was not available but the movers showed up. I spent more for UHaul arranged movers....UHaul refusing to refund and sending me all over the place. UHaul should cover for costs directly arising as a direst result of a failure on their part!!
Jenipher ChitateKey drop box was very hard to find, in the end I’m not sure key went in the right spot, there was a mail slot in the garage door that had “ ey rop” in stick on letters above it. The location is also a mechanical garage.
Kevin RichardsonMirrors would not stay adjusted (too loose, spun in the wind), transmission seemed like it was slipping, heavy exhaust tick, possibly lifter tick, brake rotors were wrapped on the front (pulsed when applying brakes), cab was dirty and smelled either like cigarettes or marijuana. Radio speakers were blown all around leaving it unusable. Service was okay, and I understand that the Vans come from all over, so most likely not this locations fault.

tim chaissonThis was a very poorly managed and overly expensive experience. I reserved a 10 ft truck FIVE weeks in advance, which was cancelled on us the day before the move. We were offered a 26 ft truck 300 km from our starting point (600 km required to start the move). The gas cost for a 26 ft truck vs a 10 ft truck was hundreds in the difference. The driving required to access the truck cost us hundreds. Navigating a 26 ft truck through downtown Halifax to a small dropoff site (not our choice) was a nightmare. A terrible UHaul experience.
Stephanie MichaelA safety checklist should of been done before using and provided to customer. I shouldn’t have been given this truck. Steering was unsafe along with brakes, a disaster waiting to happen. I couldn’t steer truck when backing up. Brake light warning and buzzer came on several times. The mileage and conditions of truck was poor. Seems like the telephone customer service system is fair but like to pass the buck. I want something done, a refund of some sort! I could of been injured or died during this ordeal. Not acceptable. The Abercrombie location never had a dolly we requested.

ROBBIE MARKSFuel tank was at 1/4 tank when I picked it up should have been at least 1/2 but ideally full. Had to go right to a gas station. Not a big deal just kind of inconvenient.
NICHOLAS OLANEYGreat staff, but when car was loaded, straps did not remain tight. We had to reattach ratchet straps to one tire at every gas stop. This was mentioned at drop off point.

DENNISB BRADLEYWhen I went to rent a u-haul the owner told me that he wanted to eat his lunch and was annoyed that I was there wanting to rent. The tank is 1/4 fuel and they tell me I have to return the tank to a 1/4, mins you how do I know how much fuel I will burn then when at gas station had to judge to the 1/4 tank because EI am not giving more fuel than what they gave me. When I returned I was told to drop keys off in slot which I did but they never told me I had to have pictures of everything about truck inside and out and photos of fuel gage , speedometer reading. I then have to use a link to secure that I dropped where I was suppose to, well after being on hold for an hour and half then to get a service rep on photos tell me after I drove home I had to drive back to where I dropped it off to do the check in. Note none of this process was told to me when I rented it. I had already dropped keys in slot so could not get pictures of anything but I did on my own take a picture of mileage as I had a guy that I would not be treated fairly. So then the customer rep tells me I have to call customer service she puts me through and this lady tells me she put me through to wrong person now this person is telling she can’t give me my return as they charged me two days because I was two hours over dealing on the phone with them. Worst experience of my life!!!

BRUCE W OLSENcould not get the picture to load when I took the truck back also there was a charge for paying with Visa, i found this a bit deceitful as it was not disclosed and you want the visa when a person rents a u haul then hey lets suck a couple of more bucks from each one U Haul would make an aggressive amt every day I guess you guys have a good take on the market but I will be looking at different rental for trucks

Patrick MacLeanMy truck had only a 1/4 tank of gas! Having to gas up first thing is super inconvenient and not knowing how much gas I’d use, I filled the tank to the cost of $110!! I never used nearly that much!! I returned it with over 1/2 a tank... your welcome Uhaul!!

Got the truck with 1/4 of fuel, They charged me for fuel fee of $100, they said I didnt fill the fuel the same amount when I got the truck, I only used the truck for 3 hours, drove my stuff approximately 1.5 kilometers from the pick up location, fill the fuel back to 1/4. Not impressed how they entertain costumer.
jerald evangelistaIt was really slow getting process to leave, as the system seemed to be down. I also was charged $15 cleaning fee because the blankets were not folded up, with I didn't realize they had to be. A representative that check me out did his best to get things situated and was very pleasant. However, Upon returning the next day for payment, my payment had already gone through on my credit card, which I was not told and the representative was rude and sarcastic when I questioned about the $15 charge for cleaning. I am a visually impaired person and do not drive oh, so things are not explained to me the way I thought they should have been. It would be nice to get my $15 plus tax back.
