Daryl OProvide options to borrow a hitch, electrical adapter for lights and maybe one or two extra tie-down straps….at no additional cost to the renter. Sometimes you are just in a situation where you need to borrow a trailer unexpectedly and you may already have those items listed back at home….but now you are somewhere else, and you have to buy a second set of hitches, electrical adapter and straps. I had to do this. I was visiting a friend out of state. I randomly found a car I wanted to purchase and bring home with me. I had everything I needed back home except the trailer itself. But since the rental doesn’t offer a hitch, light adapter or cargo straps, I had to go buy another set, which is a bit of a waste for me. Now I have two sets of these things at home. Just would have thought those items may have come along with the trailer rental. Otherwise it was a very pleasant experience.

Brian DReserved a 20 foot truck 3 days ago. when we arrived they did not have a 20foot truck. We had to take a 24 foot truck. We wanted to rent Hand trucks which they did not have. . The reservations were in the wrong name which made things take much longer.

I was treated like family from the moment I walked in. The vehicle that I rented was clean and in great overall shape. The rental of the appliance dolly really helped me move a large refrigerator during this move. I will definitely return to ABC Self Storage for all of my rental needs in the future. Hugh CThis location is great. However, the corporate U-Haul online system for after hours pickups is horrendous. Having it online is a great idea, but the process is way too slow (mainly due to human involvement when they need to confirm someone) and the web flow itself is awful. The chat feature while you are waiting for human involvement is worthless. Another stupid example. Say you reserve it for 7pm (when the location is closed). You actually pick it up at 8:00pm due to other commitments, and then you are on hold with the corporate UHaul people to confirm your identity and get a 2nd person contacted, that took 30 minutes. Your reservation is due back at 7pm the next day. You have it the whole day and returning after the place is closed. Due back time should be 8:30pm. Nope, 7pm. You even lose the stupid waiting time while you are trying to leave with your truck. Seriously?
Scott WFirst 6x12 Van Trailer has some issues with wheel hop, but the location was able to quickly swap it out for one with no suspension or wheel issues.
Scott WThe gentleman on Ribaut Rd was cranky and told me he didn't have room for the size trailer I was returning. Lady on Sea Island Pkwy was nicer and found room. I'd NEVER rent from Uhaul again based off my experience at Ribaut Rd establishment.

verdell mVery rude customer service! Take pics of EVERYTHING! She tried to lie and say I returned the truck with low fuel, I actually returned it with MORE than I received. I’m glad I had a photo for proof. The lady in the Dry Cleaners has the nastiest attitude towards minorities. Go elsewhere, there’s quite a few in town.

John CI had to back the trailer up against the side of the building because where the trailers where parked there was no room to back a trailer in. There was too many large U-Haul trucks lined up in front of the building for the trailer to be parked correctly . I surely hope there will not be an extra fee for leaving the trailer on the side of the building.
