I didn't choose this location for pick up. It was far out of my way. This was the third location I was given and the second pick up time. I originally picked a location only a few minutes away for 8am. It was changed to 1pm at a second location that was still close. I was then told they didn't have the truck size I requested at either location and I had to drive out of town.Kaitlyn D.

Had to go over twenty mile to pickup and over 7 miles to drop it off. Give me a choice of a convenient location. They tried to up charge another day in the end with insurance after the fact that I had refused . The U-Haul call in number, keeps you on hold and hangs up on you, while the self check in does not workKENNETH P.

But I was charge for gas and cleaning the truck when I pick the truck up it was on half and when I return it was cleandeshondra R.
When I initially talked to the representative she was very rude. After going through the process online and getting to the location the app did not operate correctly and it took me 45 minutes to get the process done. It kept telling me that previous action could not be completed due to insufficient memory. My experience with this process was not good at all and I will be taking my business somewhere else next time.Michael V.

Picking up the uhaul was nothing but a hassle. Will not rent another uhaul from a place that doesn't have actual people or anyone to answer their phone! I wasted 40 minutes of my time to get the uhaul that online said should have only taken 10.Timothy O.
Better communication. Contract was changed from in person pick up to the 24/7 one but only in an email. Didn't know until we got there so it took over an hour to get the truck from our reservation time of 10am, so we returned it a little over an hour late and got double charged for a second rental session/insurance. The service in the area for us isn't great so signing up for an account and everything took a long time to even do the pick up. There was no dolly. Was not happy. Uhaul receipt is very confusing and we have been charged three separate things to our account. Would greatly appreciate a customer service rep to call us back like we requested. Thanks.Chase A.

Unfortunately this is the only Uhaul dealer in LaPlace. The next actual Uhaul establishment is miles away. The office of this one sits behind a locked gate with instructions to call for assistance. There is no one to talk to directly and everything is through an app.The truck's tire pressure light was on and when I called the number before I left the place to tell them this, the lady had such an attitude telling me to just ignore it. It was hell going through all the puzzles trying to get and return the truck. The lady was upset and whined about having to get out of her bed to do the return because it was after five PM even though it says you can rent and return past that time on the app. Not my problem! I was also charged again days later for something I had already paid for. I would not rent from here again!Endeavor P.

While the one person staff did assist me, and I did receive want I wanted, the facility is a disgrace. There is no access to the property. A fence which is locked prevents any contact. You need to call on the phone. And this place is not staffed. Only when there is an on line order does someone show up. Not the usual U Haul dealer. Skanky!Edward C.

Owner/agent was extremely rude. I was given mis-information about my rental and instead of attempting to accomodatebor trybto find a middle ground she tried to bully me and force me to pre-pay for miles. She went as far as to attempt an unauthorized payment, thank goodness it was blocked.Shara S.

The hours for this facility were listed 9am to 5pm, when we arrived at 4:40 pm to return the trailer there was no one there and the gates were locked. I called the number and the lady said "Just put it in a hole outside and take pictures that you dropped it off and I'll check it in sometime tomorrow." Needless to say I was NOT IMPRESSED having to unload the trailer by myself!DEBORAH B.
No one available to receive trailer. No room to manuever on lot. Had to unhitch and move trailer by hand. View of traffic obstructed. No instructions how to return. Wouldn't answer phone. Eventually found the self return feature on u-haul website and performed return, but never received confirmation email from u-haul. Overall horrible experience.Dean S.

Mrs.Anna was awesome she really work hard on making sure I receive the trailer. I reserve a trailer. Friday the customer was supposed to return but they didn't, so Mrs. Anna made calls and found me one on causeway. By Saturday they return and I was able to go to the location in Laplace where I live. Dropped of tow dolly and 26 ft truck during business hours. Arrived there at 3:45 in the afternoon on May 17th. No one there. Sign said will be back at 3:30,which I did photograph at 3:45. Also, my location services not working for the uhaul website. I did have my location services on. Got a call from ABA rentals after 4 pm and person was condescending. I'm angry about the faulty tow dolly and the whole return process and poor customer service on uhaul site. plus can't get anyone to answer a phone.Mark B.
