I booked online. I called ahead the day of to let them know I was running 30 minutes late. The sales person for Aaron's, though very nice, said she didn't know anything about renting trucks and would have to call the person for U-Haul. That person told her she didn't have a truck for me and told me to call Sweats, another rental place. That place did not have a 20' truck, which is what I ordered. The person at Sweats also told me that Aaron's was bad about sending people to other places because the person who knew how to rent at U-Haul would not be at the store. I ended up physically going to Aaron's. They had several trucks. When I talked with the salesperson at Aaron's, she called the lady who knew how to rent and said, â€œThe lady who rented the truck is here.â€ The U-Haul person on the phone walked the Aaron's salesperson through the rental process. Bottom line, the U-Haul person did NOT want to deal with me that day, so she tried to pawn me off on another rental place. Also, the truck she rented was damaged on the side, and cigarette ashes were on the ashtray. This was a horrible experience. Online booking says guaranteed, and I was sent in a wild goose chase.SANDRA B.
It is unacceptable to have maintenance done on a vehicle and only half the work be done. The van had a new ti-rod in the steering mech. I ask Aarons if they had service records or knowledge of any maintenance - none. 400 miles later both front tires, worn beyond steel belt and running out of round, had to be replaced. If they had blown and caused damage Uhaul would have been fully responsible.Philip T.

After a competing company gave my truck away, U-Haul saved the Day !! So so grateful to them ! Not only did they rent me the truck size I needed but they price matched the competition ! Woo hoo!!!! Thanks so much !!!!!!!AURETA S.

I walked into to return the uhaul. The guy working was rude and acted like he didn't have time to help me. I had received a text about drop off instructions, but the store was open but he did not want to help. If I ever rent another uhaul I will find another drop off point.DUSTY S.
