Scary and overcharged
JOHN P.The entire center console was disconnected Or not installed properly so the entire trip was a hot mess.. not to mention the gas gauge was not over 1/4 when I got the truck and I was charged another 60 dollars on top of the gas I already put in. I'm very disappointed in this transaction.

The mini mart was run down and had bars on the doors and windows and was in a less than desirable part of town. However, the gentleman was much more helpful than the latter. Reviewed the truck with me and both printed and emailed a receipt to me while I was in his presence. He reviewed the truck with me to ensure I would not be getting any additional charges and that everything had been taken care of.

Ronald K.When I rented my U-Haul I could not have asked for better customer service! I will rent here again if I ever need to use a moving truck and I will definitely refer to my friends! The service in equipment that they provide are above and beyond exceptional and it makes the stress of moving so much less! This location I would highly recommend.

One of which was coughing and not covering his mouth. The store looked decrepit. Filthy, and smelled. I will never return to this location.

Christopher B.My pickup location was changed and apparently I was emailed, called, and texted. I only received a text that said thank you for you reservation and it had a link. I didn't bother to click on the link and that was where the new pickup location was. U-Haul needs to improve on their communication and change your text message to say pickup location changed. Also your notes said that someone talked to me and that was a flat out lie. Why would I take an hour long Uber ride from Tampa to the wrong pickup location!! This caused a lot of issues and more expense for me because I had to pay for a bigger truck that I did not need. Not cool.

Rene R.Location was not in the safest neighborhood and attendant was not very friendly. Not clear virtual check in instructions. The instructions directed me to check in however this complicated the check in process and slowed it down. It took almost an hour to rent the uhaul. Most of the issue was the poor programming and unclear directions.

They said it was on a full tank of gas, I get out to the truck and it was not. Nobody even walked around the truck with me. I had to go back in the store and tell the guy and he tells me yeah, yeah I believe you. They never looked @ the odometer to see my actual mileage. When I dropped it back off the guy, didn't say anything, just stood on his phone checking me out. Told me to have a good day. It's during a panademic, I lost my job!!! I was moving as I couldn't afford my rent anymore and was moving in with my best friend. I needed my money back. I am so unhappy with UHAUL. And I am going to write reviews every where how you all rip people off . I knew I should of went with Ryder. This location is in the hood and some crappy ass little store. Uhaul Sucks!!!

He came back out afterhe took care of convenience store customers, I did everything myself and came out later and said is everything ok. I didn't book this location and have no interest in returning. There were steel bars covering the doors and windows and very sketchy people around which made me uncomfortable. I actually strained my back struggling to move the trailer in a nasty storage area were I felt I needed a shot after I got done. . Not acceptable
John W.Have truck available where it was reserved, not where it is convenient for U Haul. U Haul should drive it to the location prior to pick up. Loose A & M MiniMart as a pick up location. It's located in a dangerous neighborhood. Fall down drunk patriots at 8am, Gang bangers in the back of the store stealing beer. My wife and I were terrified waiting to get the keys to the truck. Don't EVER request any customers to go to that location for a pick up.

Never going to that location again and I'm sure he doesn't this to everyone very rudeness to me and my father very disrespectful
michael D.Not in the best neighborhood. Did not feel particularly safe and it took forever to get the truck turned in. Was not the location I chose to return and it also resulted in being over the allotted mileage. Passed the location I chose on the way to this location which was much closer.

Returned the truck clean gassed up on time and now I am receiving bills from other locations for almost 1000 for a week after the truck was returned saying they received it this morning in a place i've never been. i am reporting this as fraud.

ariel G.horrible location. makes me feel unsafe. rude personnel, would not agree that fuel was at the acceptable level, and would not allow me to go put 1 more gallon in to the tank to get to the alleged level needed. resulted in $17 fee. I rent trucks 3-6 x per year for business. this is the first/last UHAUL rental ive done in 3 years. Now I remember why I dont rent from UHAUL. . PS. 800 service never got back to me when I called to complain.
