The app is not user friendly; there needs to be an easier way to check out the UHAUL It took us 2 hours to check in on the app. The lock was very hard to get the letters to line up on the lock to get it open. I was in tears from frustration. The person who helped us was very kind even though she was frustrated with us. Next time I will go in person durning the week to check out a UHaul.
Sonja MclanahanI rented a truck two different times, and both times had complications with the clerks abilities being able to check me out. It took between 30-45 minutes to be able to rent a truck, that I did most of the work online. Their people (all their people) need training in how to rent out equipment.

Samantha CoffinWhen we arrived there was no key in the box we were instructed to pick up from. After no answer from the owner, we contacted U-Haul and they had us open two other key boxes that had no keys. After waiting for 45 minutes, we finally had keys to get the truck. We returned the truck and personally texted the owner the mileage and gas prior to, and after use. We even sent photos. They reported 20 additional miles on our rental, and that we did not refill the gas although we returned it with more than it had when we picked it up. Submitted photos to uhaul.

WILLIAM CRAVENDesign the trailers to be on hooked easily. They are to heavy for one person to take off the trailer ball. This could be designed rather cost efficient.
Ron EdwardsWell, this is the first, and probably last time I rent from U-Haul. It was a hassle from the beginning until the end. Trying to find the vehicle I actually needed turned out to be efforts in vain; ironically the that I wanted was there next to the vehicle I settled for because the website/app said it was not at that site. It was a hassle to get certified: I personally don’t have any people in my life whom to call in situations like that. What can you do for people like me? It was the weekend, nothing was available that was applicable for certification for me. Next, the truck was dirty inside the cabin. On the way back it rained. The wiper blades made it actually Harder to see, because they were worn completely; rendering them useless. I like the ease of checking out. That was easy enough. Overall, beyond the fact that the cabin smelled like grease, one cheek farts, and sweaty, slimy, stinky old balls, if it rains the vehicle turns into a lumbering death trap, and how the distance between what you believe you’re going to pay based on the commercials you see everywhere and what your final bill comes to is farther than you can imagine: it was ok as long as you know a good chiropractor; from the suspension letting you feel Every bump. But I did like the gear ratio.

randall thurmanTook way too long to do the paperwork to pick up the car haul trailor. When we got to location to pick up car one of the tire strap down did not work. Had to buy 2 strap down ratchets and use them. I called to get location to drop it off, when I delivered it there,, apparently they did not record drop off and I was called a few days later and ask where it was. All in all, pickup was a mess, trying to use it was a mess and drop off was a mess. I did get my car home, but could it could have been done easier.

DAVID VERBARGUpon arrival at the time of my scheduled pick-up, the check in on the app stated that the location only does “hand delivery” even though the person who confirmed my truck stated that I was doing an easy pick up since the place was closed. I stood around for 30 minutes on the phone with different representatives to figure out what happened. Overall, I was able to move my things but the unfortunate situation made me lose rental time as well as setting me off on the wrong foot right in the morning.

Rita WoodwardThe gas tank was at a quarter tank. Me personally, for people who are going cross the state or country, I feel as a convenience to keep the tank full. 😊 Also rhe tires need replaced soon. They are starting to show signs of mileage.

Jeff HoffTerrible pickup on uhaul app. Took almost 2 hours to get keys to truck. Location did all they could to help. We got transferred by u haul four times and we were disconnected on three of the transfers. I will not use uhaul app again.

Rhonda HarperThe drop off location was great, easily accessible, and the owner told me where to put it when I called him over the phone. The area was also in good lighting, since the drop off was dark by the time I got back after the colossal pain in the ass I experienced prior to drop off.

Bobby ToddI went to this U-Haul place three times to confirm my reservation prior to my departure they didn’t have the right truck for me they gave me the runaround they tried to give me a different truck they told me my truck had issues with the transmission but then they all of a sudden said oh well we can gift to this truck and they gave it to me which was the one that had the transmission problem it took me over 1 1/2 times as long to get to Arizona as it should have I had to drive all night by myself through the dark with my dog because I couldn’t get a hotel or stay anywhere because I have a pitbull and nobody would get a room for me I had to sleep two hours in the front of the truck on the side of the road like a truck driver because the transmission put up poor I couldn’t pass anybody I couldn’t go to hell it won’t shift right it is an absolute nightmare and I want a complete and full refund and an investigation on why somebody would let a single woman drive that

D McguireI needed help hooking up the tow dolley. The staff instead went home at 5pm. The dolley was dry metal seized up; I used a bunch of my wd-40. They really could have been much more helpful. I'm diappointed with the Bolivar people.
ken fredrickI had requested to pick up from Show Me Rentals, owned by the same family. When I got there the trailer was not available. When I went to A and J towing, I had to help connect and lift the trailer onto the hitch myself as the guy was helping me couldn’t help.
