Amazing service and a pleasure to work with
jason O.Overall it was fine. Didn't know I had to receive the vehicle online. Nobody was at the facility. It was a little confusing. Also, I didn't get the $15 dolly that I paid for and had to go buy my own for $90+.

kevin C.Sam was great! Who was at the location when I picked up the truck. I ended up having changes with my trip and called to see if I could revise my reservation and change the drop off location and revise everything. The lady who I spoke with did not seem very willing to make these changes and said it would cause potential problems. Therefore, I was not very satisfied as it seems like it definitely could have been done. It just took a little bit of work so not as pleased but please with Sam and my pickup location

kevin C.It was clearly marked on the contract -- which I put in the return box -- that the computer generated contract showed the wrong fuel amount. The place I rented from in Bayfield, CO, hand wrote the right amount. But the people at A&H Rentals charged me another $60 in fuel even though I returned the vehicle with the same amount it had when I picked it up.

Ramesh Kumar M.The owner of the uhaul location. Did not have the truck or equipment ready at time of pick up. There was a young girl who wasn't even old enough to drive the trucks working there for the day. Covering for someone, it took an hour to get out of that location. And she had 3 other people waiting. She didn't even know how to use a landline. All you had to do was push talk. She was very nice but I had to walk all the way down the Hill to the truck and then walked back up because she couldn't take the truck up there. And I had to get my stuff signed in everything which I didn't even sign. The dollyst that I ask for were not available. The box is out ordered were not there before I moved. They were delivered the day after this is the second time I have used you, huh? And both times had problems with it. I really would like a refund on everything. The only good thing was the gentleman. That was there yesterday when I dropped off. The truck was very understanding and help me out. More than the owner, the Owner's daughter. or his granddaughter who they left. Working on a Sunday and not knowing how to do anything.

There were no clear instructions on where to drop off the vehicle and it wasn't until I read the handwritten signage on the side of the building that stated there would be a $20 surcharge for vehicles left in the front that I was able to find the actual lot to park the truck and trailer in.
Orion B.We were surprised to return at 2 pm and the door was locked, lights off, no note. Personally, IDC if that happens, but leave a note. It's a little tricky accessing the storage lot. There's a lot happening back there with a car shop and deliveries with a narrow pathway.

Eric C.The franchisee never inspected vehicle with me. It had a cracked windshield, dirty exterior. He opened 10 minutes late, spoke maybe ten words to me through the whole rental transaction. Store front was messy. Not impressed I rented the truck on Friday . I returned it 5 and a half hours later and have yet to receive a closing invoice. I've rented from U-Haul many times and driven across country on at least three other occasions and always had a good experience. This time was a real disappointment

Daniel C.Called location two days prior to rental to confirm all was set and did not receive call back. Arrived to location (1.5 hrs away) at 8am to pick up my truck at the scheduled/reserved time and lockbox did not have any keys. Proceeded to contact all phone numbers posted on the door and after 1 hr received a call back. Ultimately, I was able to get a different truck, but the process and level of communication to get to that point was horrible. As a result, I would not use this location again and would recommend others find alternatives as well.

Morris F.Part of my rating is for Uhaul generally and the mobile 24x7 check in and part is for the location. 1. General Uhaul and 24x7 check in comments. -I was never able to use the web based application because the uhaul website demanded access to my location. I followed the instructions to confirm my application was accessible in the browser (safari for IOS) but this didn't help. Reloading the website didn't help. Eventually I gave up and downloaded the uhaul app. -the uhaul app was / is incredibly buggy. It crashed several times and each time it started at a spot that I had already completed so I had to reenter the same information. -when I finally got to the point of confirming or disputing the damage, I switched from the app to my camera to take pictures (something I always do when I rent a vehicle ), when I came back to the uhaul app, it crashed and restarted and skipped the part where I agreed or disagreed w/ the damage. I never was able to complete this part. -Seeing the existing damage on the screen was impossible. There were maybe 30-50 X marks on the vehicle indicating the damage. As far as I could tell, none of those were visible on the app pictures of the vehicle. I couldn't even tell if they were supposed to be visible. -the 2 dozen furniture pads were not in the truck and there was no obvious way to get help. -I called Uhaul for assistance w/ the initial problem (using the web app) and later for the missing furniture pads but after waiting 20 min for a call back, then getting transferred to a different number, then being told I would have to wait another twenty minutes for a call back, I simply gave up and adjusted my plans to obtain my own pads. 2. Comments re the location. I attempted to call the location re the missing pads, no answer. I messaged the location via the uhaul app pointing out the missing pads and asking for some solution but I didn't hear back. I was charged for the pads and no mention in my final receipt of the missing pads. Talk about lousy customer service.... I was charged for 17 gal gas w/ only the final gas gauge reading given as proof I had used 17 gallons. The tank was just above 1/2 when I left and just below 1/2 when returned. There was no indication or proof that the gauge distance from those points equates to 17 gallons. Also I was charged over $5 / gallon gas which is ridiculous. If the retailer expects to charge $5 / gal gas, then it is reasonable for the customer to be given a truck that is full when they rent so they can return it full. Asking a customer to guess and fill the tank to a mark on the guage would require either 1 - leaving the truck on while filling or 2 2 - guessing w/ no knowledge of the tank size. Those options are either unsafe or unethical. In the future, if I rent from Uhaul, I will notify they retailer before hand that I expect a full tank on renting.

Karl H.Person via the camera told me to leave the keys on the desk. Then I was charged over $17 for gas when I had just filled it up less than two miles down the road. I filled up, dropped off. There is no way it was short on fuel. I called and left a message with no return call. Will try again today.....

They were closed for the day just to clarify exactly where I should be parking the vehicle cuz there was a sign that said if you park up top there's a $20 additional fee that I needed to park below and back. And there was a sign that said about reservations or questions to call this number which I did and got voicemail left a voicemail never heard from them which was horrible and I will fight if I get a $20 fee because I didn't park it in the right place because I attempted to try to do it. Also had really a hard time trying to check my truck back in through the app it would not find the location through my phone or through my friend's phones either so then we had to go through the website and it finally took very frustrating I spent 45 minutes trying to check my truck in
Jessica B.I don't understand why a person was not available during business hours? Note on the door had a phone number but no one answered. Napa is next door and they have a sign saying we are not Uhaul don't ask, if that tells you anything. Check engine light was on when I rented the truck and it leaked oil. Also the return process, during business hours is horrible, make sure you go to the bottom lot and stay there for 20 minutes while you take pictures of everything they ask for.

Laura M.There was no one at the location. You had to do the entire drop off process by yourself through a link and then drop the keys in a box. But no where did the door specify to do that. When I called the number on the door no one answered. We ended up figuring it out but terrible experience. Never going here again.

daniel W.This is one of those "if I could give zero stars I would" experiences * This location is listed as opening at 8am. It doesn't. This caused problems with multiple peiple * It took me an hour to check out using the online app. I must have uploaded my drivers license 30 times. It took me 15 minutes just to upload a picture showing the incorrect fuel level * I was told to get my keys from the lockbox but not told which lockbox or given the code - I had to waste more time on an online chat * The vehicle was not clean and had used blankets lying inside (I did not request blankets) * Even though the check in photos were perfect the vehicle had very bad damage (this is not the first time I've had this experience with u-haul) I will be going with another rental company next time

Brad H.I reserved a trailer 3 weeks prior to this date. I was called and said there was not a trailer available, so I was offered a truck, I said fine as long as there was no additional charges. I ended up paying mileage plus paying for the fuel. To me that is not the same charge as the trailer

David D.Make sure to take a picture of your “full†tank before you drive. Not being an expert when I got in it it looked okay. I'll tell ya what, after I actually filled it up at the end it sure looked allot more full than when I got it. Trucks that size I'm sure I literally payed for it.
