Their system was not setup to provide us a hard copy rental package. Fortunately, we had no issues so that was not a problem for the trip, however, we do not have that paperwork to possibly access a storage month free. Other than that, they were very customer service oriented, pleasant to work with and flexible

It took me over an hour to pick up the car hauler, the guy couldn’t get the app to take any of the 3 credit cards that I had, finally having to call someone on the phone and get them to load all the info that he had been trying to load for the past hour. he hooked up the trailer for me, once I got to where I was going, I loaded my car and drove 100 miles to my destination, I unloaded the vehicle at the Uhaul drop off location, the Uhaul representative told me to pull around back to drop the trailer. At that point he noticed that the trailer wasn’t secured to the hitch of my truck correctly, it was just sitting loosely on the ball. I didn’t recheck to see if it was on the truck correctly because I thought that the guy that hooked it up knew what he was doing. I count my lucky stars that the trailer and towed vehicle didn’t come off while I was driving. Very unsat and very unsafe. Feel free to call me 619-313-7439 Anthony Shepard

Customer service was the worst I've experienced with Uhaul. Condition of 10' truck was was beyond sub-par. The truck's was incredibly-difficult to maneuver, especially with the attached auto transport trailer. I couldn't drive faster than 35M for most of my 230M trip... which made the whole experience one of the worst days of my life. For the record, this is not my first time driving on a Uhaul truck. I've rented various sizes in the past, including an auto transport trailer from Portland, OR to San Jose, CA. I've never had so much trouble with handling issues. In addition to that, the cigarette lighters did not work for any of my charging cables, so I couldn't use my phone for most of the trip. Also, there was no windshield wiper fluid available at all, which can prove quite challenging when you're driving through the Southwest. Lastly, the driver's seat reclining handle was broken, which made the ride all the less comfortable. Honestly, it was such a bad experience overall that I think I might just pay the extra money to rent with Budget or Penske next time around.

I ordered an 8 ft pickup from a different location but the system transferred me to another location for a 10’ box truck. I was in a rush and didn’t have the time to figure something else out over the phone with the person I spoke with because the store was closed at 2 in the afternoon. I picked up the truck and it smelled really weird and wasn’t as clean as I have come to expect from U-Haul vehicles. The brakes on the truck also required multiple pumps to come to as stop before they would even work making the truck less than safe and once on the highway, the truck began shaking making it difficult to maintain control. I ended up paying $137 instead of the $87 I was expecting to pay for the pickup truck. This was all together a terrible experience.

Just difficult to find lot because we missed sign in front..... then had to find return key box on a tree. The box seems not secure enough. Someone could axe open the box and steal the trucks. Just saying??

Autumn was very helpful. It was Uhaul that was horrible. I reserved 3 trucks at one location and Uhaul switched everything around. I would NEVER recommend Uhaul to anyone and will tell everyone what a bad experience I had. Uhaul is CUSTOMER NO SERVICE.

The truck I rented was low one quart of oil. It was my responsibility to buy a quart and put it in. There was a tear in the gas line that prevented me from putting gasoline into the tank without a major spill. I attempted to repair the damaged hose with foil, a plastic water bottle, baling wire and duct tape. The fix was temporary and I had to re-repair it three times on my 1800+ mile trip from Colorado to New Jersey. The attempted repairs were done by me at service stations while lying on the ground under the truck. My hands are cut up from rubbing against the metal while attempting the repair. Gas could only be put into the tank at a very slow rate to keep it from a major spill and hazmat condition. The stress, inconvenience, mental anguish and bloody hands should NOT be a part of any rental experience. I am awaiting a telephone call from one of your representatives reference compensation for the problems I had with this rental.

First of all, my complaint isn't as much about the location as it is about UHaul. The UHaul location I chose was not where the truck ended up. Nor was I informed of the change of location. It was farther from home. Not a business I would have chosen. I had to wait for someone to show up when other people were waiting for me elsewhere. They were nice but doing business out of a trailer behind a business that disclaimed them on a sign on the door. I did not need this situation in the middle of moving. I won't use UHaul if I ever move again. I want to DEPEND upon who I do business with. I depended upon True Value in Canon City. Although I admire someone starting a business on their own I count on an operating business not to be late.

Was not told there was no 10-foot truck in town. Ended up going to three different locations trying to find my truck. Was forced to switch my reservation to 24/7 service and pay more for a much larger truck than I needed. Unpleasant experience overall.
