I gave 2 weeks of preparation for the actual truck I ordered and I had to choose to drive 40 miles for the size of truck I wanted or settle for a smaller truck and a trailer. The truck I was given was dirty and smelled like drugs. I was told to buy deodorizer to get the smell out of the truck. This is not my responsibility and will not be using U-Haul for any future moves. I am very disappointed in the service U-Haul provided. I now have to wash all my clothes furniture and bedding due to the smell. I do hope the smell comes out.

Nu there was nobody there and I was unable to hook the trailer from my truck because I'm not strong enough so I had to wait two days for somebody to get it off there and then they want to charge me an extra day

Tell people up front that they are going to have to travel to pick up there trailer.

Made reservation 2 weeks in advance. No call to confirm day before. Had to call several times and track down workers at 2 different locations. Finally received a call back at 8:00pm night the before our move and given a 6:00 am pick up time. Arrived at UHaul to retrieve the truck and it is not there. Then told to wait until 8:00 am to pick up at another location "if possibly available". What was the point in making a reservation? Was told my reservation had to be "redirected" to another location. How can I schedule a 20' truck pick up 2 weeks in advance and then have to start over ON the day of my move? Finally was able to pick up a truck 2 hours behind schedule, and then have a tire blown out on the highway. The organization and communication in the Sterling Colorado location makes me glad I will not be working with UHaul any further. It seems like the intentions of the Uhaul corporation/ program are great but the people in small town locations need better training and professionalism before being allowed to represent your product. I am hesitant to use this company any further in fear of the disorganization of reservations, pick-up, and now safety of the tires not being properly checked before departures.

I could not rent a 6 X 12 enclosed trailer in Cheyenne WY and A&A was the closest. All in all even after the 4+ hour round trip drive to pickup the trailer not a bad experience at all!

Trailer had a temporary License tag and I was pulled over by the state police as they thought it was stolen because there was no state called out on the temporary tag. This created many issues for me and a big delay. If you are going to have a trailer with a temp tag this should be explained so it does not create embarrassing and untimely delays.

space is very small, and older building. I am used to the non urban settings in Sterling, but at least plenty room to manouver with the trailer and the car.. probably would help if the owner would install a few display shelves, and fresh paint on inside, Again older small building, but gentleman was helpful and

The TRLR I requested the day before online was available but the morning of, they called me and said it was not available. after driving 60 miles to pick it up and finding out there were two at this location but were not entered into the system. the TRLR was entered into the system and I was able to rent one of them. I don't think they were serviced or check for any issues and as a result, I had issues with the brakes that resulted in me dropping it off before I could even load it.

The unit we rented was too small so we ended up making two trips. This cost us in fuel and mileage. If you would have more availability for larger units it would not have cost us as much.

The owner realized that my reservation was for a Saturday pickup. He is closed on Saturday. He called me arranged for me to pick it up Satuday morning even though he was closed. He also was patient with us as we had to get cash due to our bank not processing the credit card transaction

U-Haul, NOT THE LOCAL LOCATION/OWNER, created a lot of problems for me with this. The price was not what I was quoted. At the location, we arrived to see a sign on the door, "On a deliver, be right back." ...Be right back turned into almost 30 minutes later, which was frustrating.

Reserved a 5X8 Trailer on the 3rd for the 19th of the same month, Received a confirmation and guarantee on the 6th. Then received a call on the 17th 2 days before the move that the trailer is not available. I was told I could drive 100 miles to go find one. My tuck gets 12 MPG @ 100 miles = 8.3 gallons @ 3.64 a gal = $30.21 1/2 the price of the original rental? The local Uhaul dealer never even had a chance to get us a trailer. The jackwaggons in Denver or wherever they are dropped the ball and now its my problem? guess ill just haul it in my pickup and take my chances on the weather!
