The fuel tank was empty and when I went to fuel the truck all the fuel leaked out of the tank. The fire department responded since fuel leaked out. They noticed the fuel tank had been repaired numerous times with Puddy. Unit 1165 my contact info is Rick Hausman at captainrick.hausman@gmail.com

This place provides unsafe and dangerous trucks. The truck had a fuel line cut in half completely, leaking gas the entire trip up until I filled it up and it poured all over the ground.

Firstly, there was no lock box to pick up vehicle. Vehicle number did not match with what was onsite. Customer service was pathetic to support and provide resolution. I had to waste my time for 2 hours as i could not pick up vehicle at san marcos and later i could not get vehicle at escondido because of all the confusions. I am really surprised why would Uhaul bill me for services which were not provided at all?

not customer friendly, very slow and short temp in signing us in because our phones would not take the information needed and he had to enter this. we have rented from several UHAUL in the area and have never had this experience. He stated he was the owner, if he is not a customer friendly gent.

We had a scheduled pick up for 7am and arrived with the truck not ready, not loaded with ordered supplies and not accessible . We had to wait one hour for the location to open and the guys admitted they forgot to prepare our truck. Because of this we ate one hour of our paid move time as our movers were scheduled for pick up at 8 AM at 150 an hour .

To start off I put $85 a dollars of fuel because the truck was empty no gas. I called the guy in the office and he said to bring it back 1/4 tank filled and that they would credit me back. That never happened.

I had issues from the moment I scheduled the rental. 1- the pick up location for the rental was changed 2- when I went to the location to pick up the van I rented, they didn't have any vans available. So I got a 10 footer. 3- the truck gas gauge marked the gas tank was full, but it wasn't working, so the truck stopped running abruptly. 4- roadside assistance came in and helped without any gas. 5- I asked for a discount for all these troubles and the guy at AMCO laughed and the other guy said “so what? We all have a bad day”. Really??

Our invoice was more than what we contracted for online. That is VERY frustrating! The person at the AAMCO said he could not change the price on his end - that is STUPID! Why would the amount I had to pay be more than what I was given online? The attendent could not explain it. Also, the vehicle I picked up was not even filled with gas, so when I drove off it died.

the van was filthy. Couldn't even see through the windshield. inside was dirty. You would think with all the COVID-19 protocols, they would clean the vehicles after each use. The gentleman that checked me in was RUDE.

Truck and trailer I had rented was not available (even though they were in the lot) because previous rental did not pay their bill???? I do not understand… go George (awesome guy) set me up with a bigger truck (not needed for my move) and trailer without ramps (I have my own). Truck ran great (ok pretty worn at 112,000 miles) but clean and ran good! Trailer a bit bent up, but my two motorcycles fit good, and the tie downs at the floor held them great! Awesome people to work with!

Add staff. The staff were clearly overwhelmed by their jobs; and the vehicles were not being “reset” between rentals.

Rented for the afternoon, returned the keys WHILE the staff was there and the door was unlocked. They directed me to the return key slot. I was then charged for after hours return. I was there BEFORE they closed, they just didn't want to do their job. I was then charged extra for it. DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION.

There was a gentleman there that was incredibly rude. I was talking to my family member about a how I fixed what I was told by the dealer and that location was unfixable. Then he decided to confront me and proceeded to tell me that my car was going to break down weather I like it or not. It was a VERY unpleasant experience.

Brian was great working with. We rented two trucks within 2 days, the first 20-foot truck had a terrible noise in transmission... the 15 foot truck drove great. We let the Mgr know and they're making sure it's looked at before renting out again. Customer service- attitude - friendliness - Brian is pretty great. ESpecially in a stressful time like moving.

Bryan at the front counter was great and very helpful, however there was sticky, dried coffee on the dashboard and passenger ceiling that we didn't notice until we were on the road. That would have been nice to have had wiped out prior torenting, though it would have been easy to miss as well.

Trucks need electric windows and cruise control. The drivers window in my 20' truck was poorly located and very hard to close. If you desire us to tow at 55MPH, install cruise control.

Staff was friendly and nice, helpful. The truck I rented had not been cleaned recently and was somewhat dirty but clearly had been used as a truck and it's intended purpose. The truck was not covered in filth like rappers, food or spilled the drinks and it seemed they were understaffed which most likely led to the equipment not being washed. Overall great experience.

WiFi was horrible couldn't do the mobile pick up at this location even inside building was awful signal strength. Also back of truck smelled of weed so badly I had to wear a mask to load. Then had to air truck out & deodorize it which it still had an odor when I dropped it off but was much better.
