there was difficulty with the electronic contract process, the dealer had to restart the program 5 times because it continued to freeze up.

The lady that worked Saturday was very sweet and nice. She even stopped on the lot when we were unloading our stuff into the storage unit if we needed anything and becareful in the heat. Super friendly!

There was nothing wrong with this location in Goldsboro. However I originally made my reservation in Farmville and they did not have my vehicle and I pre-paid to assure availability. So the day of my move I’m scrabbling to find a truck . I had to call U-Haul company myself to find one and assure I had one. I had to drive further to get the truck than I intended to and feel that I should have been compensated better for having to drive more miles than expected.

You can honor your reservations. No truck and no explanation. I had to pick up a truck in a town 26 miles away. That location was great but a 50 something mile round trip for me plus the delay and that was after spending two hours on the phone with people at U Haul who didn’t know anything about what happened with my reservation. The pickup site in Goldsboro was great. The pickup site in Kinston was terrible. No truck as promised. Two trailers on the entire lot. I notice you did not ask to have them reviewed. I told an “action file” was opened and I would hear from someone within 72 hours to discuss a “solution.”. It’s been a week and I still have not heard from anyone. Apparently U Haul is as much concerned with honoring that commitment as they are with honoring a reservation made weeks in advance. Very, very poor experience as far as the reservation and follow up is concerned. And U Haul is not cheap! I expected much better service for the amount I had to pay. There are other providers like Budget or Enterprise. Hard to believe they could be any worse. Will probably try one of them next time. Buyer beware!

Candace was extremely kind and helpful. She personally helps each customer with the hands on attitude. She is an exceptional manager, and represents U-Haul to the max. It is because of her shining example, attitude, and hands on approach, that I will continue using U-Haul in the future. Candace simply rocks!

Hold people accountable for returnimg the trucks on time. Or if they dont return tjem on time charge tjem a late fee. Because i had to change all my plans around because the truck i reserved a week in advance was not available because not one from corporate told us the truck was coming back late. Uhaul needs to make people us a major credit card we making reservations that way everyone will get to use the trucks when they originally make the reservations.
