The app wouldn't recognize my location, then it didn't scan the barcode. So I called a rep, she talked too softly and I couldn't understand her, told her to speak louder and more clearly and I still couldn't hear her or understand what she was saying most of the time.

Betty RamseyI reserved a trailer and received a confirmation number. When I called they said i never reserved it but she asked me if I would be pulling it with my toyota. How did she know I had a toyota? She new because I told them that when I reserved it. I reserved it for 5 days and asked how much it would be if I added an extra day. I paid for 6 days but was told they would refund me a day if I brought it back after 5 days. When I got to maryland I turned it in on the fifth day and asked about my refund and the man laughed. He said to call ANS tactical back and they would have to refund me. When I called the lady told me she never said that to me. Why would I make it up. She just lied. I have family and friends in the military at eglin and I will make sure I tell them about this and who not to rent from. Not to mention when I was there that day they had lost paperwork to a firearm and were in a panic.

SANDRA GANNThere were 2 issues with the vehicle. The truck pulls hard right. We were pulled over by FHP for no tail lights, luckily Kevin only got a warning. We got off the interstate and after checking the fuses he found that the fuse was blown so he had to buy a fuse and replace it. After that the lights worked.

Derek AdamsIt would’ve been nice for uhaul to notify me that the store closes thirty minutes before my scheduled pick up time. They stop doing trailers at 2:30pm. Thankfully a worker had come by to fix something and was able to to process my reservation. This could have detrimentally messed up the moving process as I am disabled and hired nonrefundable movers. Timing is extremely important and needs to be communicated with the stores availability before reservations can be made at that time.

William SchappertI would highly recommend renters to take a picture of the odometer before leaving the property and again right after dropping the truck off after use. I rented a truck for the first time and drove the truck less than 10 miles to simply move a bed and dresser. I lived pretty close to this particular uhaul company hence why I drove less than 10 miles upon usage. They charged my account twice, once for the initial charge and once again for almost $50 saying I drove the truck almost 60 miles in less than two hours. I used the truck for only two hours and even returned it before my time limit was up. There is no way I drove almost 60 miles, broke down and packed the truck with everything I had, drove it to my house and then back again to drop off in less than two hours before my time was up and apparently drove 60 miles. Absolutely ridiculous. I called and spoke to the manager who in return hung up on me after saying she couldn’t do anything about it and refused to help. I contacted corporate to see if they could do anything but since I hadn’t taken a picture of the dash before and after use, mind you again this was my first time renting a truck, they may not be able to do anything. They’re sending someone out to see if they find any discrepancies with the truck itself and will apparently get back with me in a couple of days. If you ever rent anything make sure you take pictures for proof in case the company tries to get one over on you because this company I rented from most definitely will take advantage.

Charles PurvisRep. did not hook up the trailer correctly (see their pic). 1/2 mile from the store, at 35 mph, the trailer disconnected coming down a bridge. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS LOCATION. Checkout was also a test of patience. Rep kept locking up the system. WILL NOT RENT FROM THIS LOCATION AGAIN.

chris danielsI rented and payed in fairhope ala and for return I provided the contract and there was a 40 charge for an extra day, I gave the lady the original reciept and still got charged for the extra day even when I told streets lady I didn’t feel right leaving it on sun because they were closed.

She was patient with me helping me figure out the uhaul app. The u-Haul check engine light was on. The man there reassured me. It was because something got fixed but the sensor light did not, which was true I didn’t have any problems with the U-Haul. Thanks again I was in a bind and you guys delivered

Andrew WirthCharging me a cleaning fee is a little shady. I only had the van for 1 hour and 30 minutes lol I even swept the van out in front of the employee after i returned it. Make sure before you leave they are not going to try and stick you with a cleaning fee. How dirty or clean something is is always subjective.
