I ordered my uhual for 12 and it was approved but 10 minutes later I recieved and e-mail stating my pickup time had been changed to 3:30. The app said I would be able to pick up and check in at 2:30. I arrived at 3:20 to see that my truck was not at the location. The worker was not polite or wearing a mask. The Truck arrived after 3:40, I was then invited back into the store by the maskless worker to pay for everything I repeatedly stated I choose mobile pickup, finally I was told “then go outside and do it then” which is all I wanted but I assume the app wasn't registering the vehicles location until he recorded it online. So I get the vehicle and its a bit of a mess with used tissue in the cab and cardboard boxes in the back. Because clearly in his haste the worker didn't check. Either way I'll be choosing other locations for all future uhual rentals.

Today on October 20/2020 contract number 81834290, I have rent the van at this location, while I was at this location no question was ask when I requested the contract copy , I was told will be received by mail , after returning the vehicle , I have notice on my email without my knowledge coverage was added on the contract for 30 dollar, it was added without my knowledge. Upsetting experience, phone reservation agent said locations close to home did not have trailers available next closest one was this location and we can return closer to home, later that day we received a call and text that we must return to pick up location due to it being a in town rental. Trailer also had broken and half repaired wiring resulting lights did not work properly, agent was aware and also took photos

I gave a single star not for the , but for the fact that Uhaul moved my location without updating me and it was out of my way. I can see now that there is no sense in trying to reserve a trailer in advance because Uhaul just changes it to what every suits their availability at the time. It is a good thing that I did a prechecking online or I would have gone to the wrong location to pick up. The trailer did its job and was a good rental price. The person at the location was courteous and did a good job but I think a second person for a Sat morning should have been on hand to deal with the people as the wait was too long.

The place looked like a dump yard, non of the utility trailers or other trailers had a jack and were sitting on the ground When I returned the trailer the manager on site unhooked it and because the trailer did not have a jack it moved forward during the removal and hit my truck causing a dent on my truck The manager who was responsible told me that he will send a report of the incident to the Uhaul head office and when I asked to give me a copy of it he said to contact U-Haul to discuss the next steps Because this incident was not my fault I had expected the U-Haul representative or the head office take responsibility and follow up with me and take care of this incident with minimal stress to me as a customer. I rated Uhaul excellent few days ago at another location but unfortunately this one was a bad experience.

I say avoid this place! Staff were curt and abrupt when I pointed out I had been billed twice for the same rental. They claimed computer error - not likely - carelessness or fraud is more likely. They hoped I wouldn't notice.

There was no Dolly available for us when we got there because apparently the previous customer did not return the Dolly and this location didn't have any more of them? Which made our move almost impossible without it. I am extremely disappointed with UHAUL in general, we booked our truck for a specific time and I have a screen shot of it being confirmed and saying “see you at 2:00” our reservation then got changed to 5PM they added on an EXTRA dolly that I didn't book and also changed the reservation to 17 hours instead of 6...... which seems extremely suspicious to me. We had an elevator booked at our condo for 230PM so picking the truck up at 5:00PM would have been impossible. We ended up having to switch the reservation and instead of getting a 10 foot truck we ended up with a 9 foot cube van because that is all the was available meaning we couldn't fit a good chunk of our furniture and actually ended up having to throw a lot of things out. Overall a complete nightmare. Will never be using UHAUL again unless this can be rectified.

Our location was changed, as was our time and time alloted all last min. Once we finally got to the new location 30 km away from our move the truck wasn't parked where it was supposed to be, was filthy inside with shards of broken glass all over and had none of the equipment we requested 1 appliances dolly, 1 furniture dolly and 4 doz furniture pads. We finally got 6 loaner blankets and a dolly from the shop but were two hours behind schedule. Then we received a call asking if we would have the truck back for 3pm at noon. This was a very frustrating and stressful addition to an already packed and stressful day. 0/10 would use Uhaul again

Cargo area was not that clean, I saw some bugs and now I'm afraid to have this bugs into my furniture . I choose to rent a dolly and there was no dolly/cart on the truck. Truck is super old and it doesn't give you confidence on drive it on highway. It did what was supposed to, though.

First no more than 2 days booking, after waiting on Tel line for more than half an hour, the rep booked me two cars, but te location near me transfered the booking to this location and updated the booking for 4 days. I picked the car on time and returned on time (by the minutes) and get billed for additional day rent (2 minutes different on their watch) plus $75 for insurance I denied on my booking So WHAT YOU CALL THAT !!!

Truck was so old. Window handle was broken. The muffler is leaking so when the truck is working the exhaust gas comes in. Also the truck suspention was horrible broke my glass coffee table due to jumping very agresively over small pot holes.

The gentleman at the pick up location was very helpful and made sure the equipment was clean and issue free, as it was a mobile order and I there would be noone to attend to any issues. However, I am disappointed with the way Uhaul handled my booking though. I booked the truck three weeks in advance and wanted to pick it up at the location downtown, as that's where I live, but I was informed 36 hours before my pick up date and time, that I would have to pick it up from Scarborough. Cost me a pretty penny to get an Uber out there, as I don't drive.

Dealer checked the trailer light with me, and yet still sent me off with non-working trailer lights, and told me to call 1800gouhaul once I arrive my moveout place, we could have easily got into an accident during this time. The floor mat on the driver side also had to folded because it was in the way of the brake pedal

The location is disgusting and smells really bad like there are things rotting and it's never been cleaned before. The owner really needs to maintain the location better. Also, the person behind the desk wasn't wearing a mask during COVID. Only the van itself was somewhat clean.

Bad customer service here. I went to go rent a truck and the man who works there was very unfriendly and rude with customers. I asked him about the availability on a certain sized truck and he proceeded to get annoyed with his reply, then went on to completely ignore my response and talk to the customer behind me in line.

Original confirmed reservation was for pick up in Richmond hill, Richmond hill changed me to a smaller truck WITHOUT telling me, fortunately I checked prior to pickup and AL AMAAN had one. I am very upset with UHAUL and their refusal to have a manager call us back regarding this changed truck size and their decision to just try and give me a smaller truck than I reserved especially without notifying me. Would not recommend UHAUL and I will not be using them again. I am happy with AL AMAAN location as he was very helpful

I booked the truck online and when i picked my keys for truck, side mirror was broker.driving 15ft truck itself is tough and my journey became too tough because of this.Truck was also having over heating problem. I booked for three days and this truck instead of helping for my work , made it more worse.

Please make clear signage for designated parking spaces. I parked, then a truck parked right beside me leaving no room whatsoever for me to even to open my door, leaving literally one inch. Apparently, that was truck parking area, but there was no sign and it was completely empty. With utmost difficulty and trepidations I moved the car.

There was blood in the truck I have pictures to prove and the fact the it is Covid-19 he would have cleaned and sanitized the truck but he didn't. I was suppose to due the 24/hr pick up from 7:30 and the code for the lock was different from the one he gave, he was rude and didn't even put the equipment that was missing into the truck I had to do it in the rain. The first truck I was suppose to get they left the back of the truck open all in all very bad experience.

Received a Not clean van, and then they charge me for cleaning fee! The Gas in the van was 3/4 and I returned it with Full gas, however this never was part of appreciation or calculation!

The location was good as was the attendants customer service. However, my experience with the company itself was not good. My pick up and drop off locations were changed last minute as was myrental - a 15' truck to a 9' cargo van . It's not possible to move a 3 bedroom apartment with a 9' cargo van. As such, I don't think I would recommend UHaul for big city moves.

When walking into the location there was flys all over the place and a guy cutting meat (it was a butchers shop) as well auto shop that was seen by an open door. I was very unimpressed with that location after years of using many different U-Haul locations across the province I have never been nervous to go back I will most definitely not be renting from this location again. There was no parking for trucks and trying mover a trailer in there can be very difficult!! There was also no respect for the current problem of COVID-19 at the time there were six people in this small store with no face protection and no ability to maintain a safe distance as well no face protection was worn by workers nor was there safety shields in places.
