My order was incomplete. I had requested 1) a different pickup location that had in-person check in available, to avoid the known poor performance of the U-Haul app, 2) a furniture dolly and furniture blankets. Neither of these conditions were fulfilled. The location forced me to use online check-in, which was unreliable, with poor customer service availability which resulted in my almost not being able to check out the vehicle. The truck was empty, no sign of the dolly and blankets I rented. This resulted in scuffs and dirt on my furniture and undue wear and jostling on heavy appliances. I had had good experiences with U-Haul previously but with this poor service I will consider other options next time I need to rent a truck.

Clean yes.. Wasn’t going to mention it or complain. We had to stop 2hrs to destination to repair a tire with roadside assistance. Come to find out that the leaf spring has been broke for a long time due to the rust on the break. Wait times..and unloading and reloading into a different trailer.. We were set back 4 hours and screwed up my schedule set up time for my event. Had to set up in the dark and no idea where we were in the event. I missed a huge opportunity to be upfront with all the other vendors that paid extra for a good prime spot. I didn’t just lose money but massive amounts of exposure and future opportunities. Kinda salty about it but since you sent a survey. I thought I’d tell you. Not to mention the merch in trailer moved a lot due to the suspension. (broken..scratched etc) can’t prove it tho. To be honest what I did..where I was…you would have loved how much free advertising you got from me. Everyone knows me and I had the U-Haul. As I was taking pictures and videos I thought U-Haul should sponsor me haha. But the events that unfolded and happened after I completely forgot anything positive.

Truck did not start when we picked it up. Had to wait almost two hours for someone to jump start the battery. We were paying movers to sit at our house and do nothing while we waited for someone to jump start the truck. Did not come with the 12 blankets we ordered and paid for, so we had to go buy other blankets to protect our furniture.

The website was difficult to navigate and kept kicking me off or failing to load the page properly which in turn forced me to call in order to get the code to get the truck key. Very complicated and difficult pickup.

Make it less confusing since they are moving buildings- we were back in forth a couple times. The directions weren’t well done and didn’t match the note in the door that they had moved.

Don't park other rental trucks in the driveway blocking the gate. Have someone in attendance from 9 to 5 at the very least. Have your online return site working correctly.

Correct address of u-haul. Also was quoted a charge of $119.00 on first place to pick up car carrier in Storm Lake Ia. when ordered on line than found out 2 days later they did not have a car carrier on had called about getting one in South City Ne. and they had one and would set it up for me, but was not told it was now 139.00 to rent. Why the price difference and not told. poor way to do business but great way to get more money for rentals.

Was changed from Gordon Drive U-Haul to ABC Storage. I had to drive PAST Gordon Drive, where I observed several 26 ft trucks available. When I spoke to the representative on the phone, she said the Gordon Drive location always shifts out of town trucks to the smaller locations. I had to make an additional 15 minute drive into another state. It was not convenient.

I had several issues pop up. Instead of having my truck in Norfolk like i reserved, I had to drive 6 hours to pick up the uhaul, since I was already in Iowa. Other than that , the customer service was great and very helpful. Thanks

This was a drop off spot only. The online drop off software from UHaul kept timing out. I called the drop off # and it was all taken care of promptly and pleasantly. Everything went smoothly otherwise.

Was rather inconvenient to do the paperwork in one spot and then drive to another to pick up. Had to hook up by myself. One tire on the trailer had very little tread left but thankfully it made the 400+ mile trip

The location was closed when I returned my trailer. Thus, a jack to remove the trailer from my hitch was not available. The tongue of the trailer is quite heavy. Having a jack available would’ve made all the difference in the world.

Too long and no help with getting trailer connected to vehicle. Trailer hitch device to lift hitch did not work. Took almost hour to get in and out. Busy with gun sales versus getting my business handled.

Everyone was rude and did not want to provide any help or assistance. when picked up truck, we were told to go to A and end up walking into MUD and crap behind the building after being told, "oh, maybe the truck was stolen, try behind the building." First place I arrange pickup the lady was totally unhelpful and made all my problem. I will NEVER use you again. I should have paid the extra cost and picked up in a kind city like Sioux FALLS.

Make sure you have the purses correct email address so it doesn’t go to someone else which in my case it did happen it went to my ex which was none of his business but I was ready to U-Haul and getting ready to move that’s my personal business

The inside of the vehicle was extremely dirty. There were many things with he exterior that were not noted as for damaged which I spent a considerable amount of time with. Lastly, should be told that you will need the code for leaving as well. We had to make calls in order to get out.

Make sure auto transports have the appropriate parts and are not old or broken. The tire straps and the cupler was old and worn. The tire mounts kept slipping off my auto's tires. The cupler had to be replaced.

Well I attempted to use a prepaid debit card and wouldn't take it. Then was told I had to go get cash and the exact amt. because they didn't have change. Just not an organized or knowledgeable location.

The truck was somewhat dirty on the exterior but that could be expected due to weather that we have had. Also, the truck was not parked on pavement so when I pulled away I was kicking rocks out of the tires for several miles. A bit disconcerting as I was concerned about causing damage to other vehicle(s).

I rent weekly from other facilities and this was one of the worst. No help to load trailer. Found trailer it was stuck in the mud had to dig it out getting myself muddy and filthy. Upon return their hours say open at 9am. Dropped the trailer off at 12 and they weren’t there so I had to unhook and unload by myself. If I ever have to go back to this place I will cancel the appt and go with another company.

Someone other than myself was going to pick up trailer so wanted to have everything processed and ready to go. However that would have started my 24 hour time period even though he wasn't going to pick it up for 2 more hours. This was an inconvenience.
