Please don't rent out broken trucks. We got onto the highway to get to our storage unit, and it started raining like crazy and the wind shield wipers stopped working. We had to stop on the side of the highway 10 times in the span of 15 mins just to get back home. The u haul place then only gave us 10$ off of the used miles that we had used trying to get safely back home. We could've gotten seriously injured or hurt, it was dark and it was raining and snowing, try driving without wipers in that weather.

I returned the items using the 24 hour drop off option, and so can't really speak to the interior. The online process of drop-off was confusing and failed to indicate if the process compleated or not, but after going through the process 3 times I figured it had to have worked.

Best customer service I've ever experienced. The whole U-haul team was the most knowledgeable, most efficient, and fastest of any rental or retail store I've visited. The desk team knew as much about the equipment as the operations team members. The ops team had me hooked and loaded up even before the paperwork was completed.

My uhaul was dirty and on top of that it stunk. I did not notice the smell at first because the pick up place covered it up with a air freshener. It smelled the 28 hour drive. I searched for anything making the smell but since the cab was not cleaned I couldn't tel where the smell was coming from. The truck handled great but I'm disappointed it smelled bad.

So, we received a call the day before pickup that they needed to give us a bigger truck as they didn't have a small truck available, even though I was allowed to reserve a smaller truck. Then the corporate person forgot to keep my rate at the smaller truck rate so they wanted to charge me $200 more. I had to call the corporate guy as the place where I picked it up couldn't change it. What a mess, not to mention that the bigger truck takes more in gas so wasn't really fair to me even when he took $50 off, not to mention the stress and hassle factor.

The truck was dirty when we picked it up. We noted it in the online pickup, and uploaded pictures. However, we still got charged the $25 cleaning fee, despite it not being our fault.

Tell people what the tow/haul light is for and if we need to push the button to turn on or off. Also, i know that you cannot tell exactly, but it would help expectations to tell people that most can expect 8 to 9 gallons per mile, to know how much we will have to pay to fill up.

The two girls working the counter (owner's daughters?) were exceptional. There was a problem with the trailer I reserved, and so I had to updgrade. They made the process very simple, and were extremely gracious during the whole process.

I returned the vehicle after hours, so I am unable to rate the facility, or the personnel. The only difficulty I ran into was trying to find a place to park the truck. I managed to put it out of the way, but had to double park a van.

The gentleman met me in the parking lot as I pulled in to check in the trailer. He was quick and efficient, told me where to park it, AND unhooked the trailer for me. Because of this I will use uhaul again!

The only thing I'd recommend is when storing the trucks in below freezing weather, to leave the cargo door cracked. My door was frozen shut and took us over half an hour to brake up the ice to get it open.
