It was the first time I rented a car from u haul but it was a bad experience first of all I found an old lady and a girl in control the girl spoke to me very badly she considered me a less than nothing because she knew I had the African accent and yet I made her understand that I am new to the United States that I needed help to fully understand the procedure but I needed help to fully understand the procedure but she answered me with great contempt the old lady who was there cut me off by telling me that the girl is not obliged to help me and yet I think she works there so she should have a good attitude towards customers without distinction of race or color this girl showed me outright that if you are new to the United States is that you do not speak You're new to the United States and you don't speak English well. You're not respected by some people who know anything about what a customer represents. I felt a lot of regret for doing business with these people So I can't afford to recommend a haul to a friend or a family member all the excuses for my sincerityELHADJI MAMADOU B.

26' length truck was OLD and JUNKY. Mirrors were shaking, and the entire truck was a disaster. I returned it much earlier due to concerns of functionality. Will never rent from this location again.MIRELA U.
Awful experience. I ordered 4 dozen blankets and there were only FOUR total. And there was damage on the truck but the app froze up and didn't let me take pictures of it so I better not get in trouble for recording the damage. I have a picture just in case. You changed my reservation without my consent to a way farther location than originally chosen. And that was annoying. I had to pay for those extra miles. I'm never using U-Haul againBraxton E.

The truck looked fine on the outside with several areas already marked. However, the inside looked fine until i started down the road and the ants started coming out from the bottom of the center console. Later we discovered there were much more on the outside driver door. Would have been a complaint-free trip otherwise. Someone should have checked the inside better, as it could have been cleaned.Scott T.

I received the truck with 1/8 fuel level. The contract said 1/4. Beyond that, it is ridiculous that I had to put gas in the truck before I was certain I would make it to my destination. This felt like am obvious ploy to scam me out of $10. I don't care about $10, I just feel like starting out with gas would be fair Also the agent that issued the truck very firmly reminded me of the 10am return time. No problem, you gotta inform people about that stuff. I also understand being tired of dealing with "I didn't hear that" people. I feel like the 5th time was a bit excessive. Just kinda rude.Merle W.

The whole moving situation with uhaul was a nightmare. We were set to pick up our equipment less than 0.5 miles from my house on a Friday morning at 11 am, the same day I was packing up the truck. I received a phone call Wednesday evening (less than 2 days before my scheduled pick up) saying that uhaul had to change my pick up location due to availability issues. They changed my location to a center 30 miles away from my house. This meant I would have a 60 mile round trip just to pick up my uhaul which made this very inconvenient. The only thing they could do for us was add a day and an extra 150 miles to my reservation so that we could pick up the truck on Thursday. While this was helpful it really did nothing to fix the inconvenience that they caused us to driving 60 miles instead of 1 just to pick up the truck. Once we got to the place to pick up the truck on Thursday the women checking us in told us they were not allowed to show us how to hook our car up to the auto transport and only showed us how to hook the auto transport up to the uhaul. This mean that we then had to drive the car and the uhaul back home and drive an additional 30 miles to and from the uhaul center in Athens who agreed to show us how to hook our car up to the auto transport. What was supposed to be a quick maybe 20 minutes max picking up our truck on Friday morning turned into a 4 hour fiasco driving an extra 89 miles around town. We will not be using uhaul in the future.Richard K.

The blonde haired woman was quite possibly the rudest person I have ever dealt with in a business. She was very unhelpful and had a very bad attitude. She greeted us by saying "What do you want?" And it went downhill from there. I have no idea why she acted this way as we were pleasant to her. I would never go back here again. The van was very dirty and ruined an item of mine.TRACEY T.

The entire experience from beginning to end was an absolute nightmare. From selecting the correct truck, to the pickup of the truck, the timeframe which I was given to use the truck, and finally the outrageous amount of extra charges. I will never rent from this company again. Period.Jason G.

Did not recive text that licencse needed to be scanned intil i arrived. Without smart phone would not have been able to rent. Then they have crummy cell coverage so scan app kept crashing. Not sure it could have been less convenient to rentgreg V.

The trailer had a tire that had a slow leak. So I had to pull over a couple of times to pay for air for the tire. One of the ladies in the office was rude with her tone.JENNIFER R.

I had a very pleasant experience. It was a very easy check in/out from start to finish. I did the mobile pick up & drop off and it was super convenient. My only recommendation would be to tell the cost per mile (past the 30 free miles) price prior to booking. Though I was happy with my ending mileage rate, it would've been nice to know ahead of time.ROBERT D.

I was moving alone and really needed the 1 utility dolly and 2 furniture dollies. When I arrived home after picking up the truck, NO DOLLIES! I was so upset. I was told that I they only had 1 furniture dolly. How was I suppose to move my furniture alone with 1 furniture dolly? A dresser!! Then I was told to come back to pick it up! Keep in mind, I've left my car at uhaul so I would have to drive all the way back adding more miles to the truck which I had to pay. After searching for 2 furniture dollies at surrounding Uhaul stores, I was unable to find anything. I cried for an hour because I felt so defeated and I hadn't even started moving furniture yet. Needless to say, it was a very emotional and tiring day. Thank God for my maintenance staff!ASHIYA W.

This location is not very responsive. All of my communications had to be done through the 800 number for U-haul. The rental van ran great and it was s smooth drive. However, it was not cleaned prior to our use. With Covid19 protocols in place, I would have liked the cab to have been wiped down (it was not extremely dirty, just not sanitized). I could tell the steering wheel or items a driver must touch were not vindicated. So by answering "no" to equipment clean and well maintained is only referring to the cab of the van and not the rear.INDIA W.

The front of the van was fine, but the back of the van had crumbs and dirt all throughout it and there was a sign in the office that I found to be highly unprofessional and inappropriate and could even be called offensive.JACQUERIA G.
