I called and left a message to check because I dropped the truck after hours no return call. I called several times could never get anybody on either number. I was charged an after hours fee because the instructions were unclear on the email. You need to let people know to complete the drop off activity before they drop the keysMichael S.

The guy who ran the place was nice with no issues. But he wasn't there when I got there. He seems to work on a more flexible schedule than maybe another location. If I would have been there at my scheduled pickup time, I would have waited an hour before I could complete the paperwork/pickup. Plus the pickup location wasn't close. I had to drive 50 miles round trip just to pick up the Uhaul vehicle. Then UHaul charged me for an additional 40 miles when I dropped it off. And drop of was another 15 miles.Jason S.

They were closed. Although I was instructed to deliver the trailer during this time I was charged $20 for dropping off outside of business hours. Does not seem fair.charley M.

Uhaul website said site opened at 0800 and allowed be to setup counter pick up. Site was closed and signed said closed on Mondays. Had to switch to mobile pick up. Parking lot was extremely muddy. Truck was stuck. Attempted to call to get swapped to another truck but was all reserved for other customers. Was transferred to roadside assistance and stayed on hold for another 30 mins before I gave up and called and paid $150 for local wrecker service to get truck out of mud. Horrible experience.Chris M.

Again no attendant when we arrived to turn in the truck & trailer. Called the phone # posted on the door and left message of Time & Date of the return of equipment and that fuel was at about 1/2 tank. Left the equipment locked up across street with other Uhaul equipment. Left Keys in LockBox at the front door of the shop.Harry P.
I'll never rent with uhaul again. My pick up was for a different location and made for 8am. I got there and apparently the truck wasn't set up the night before the the place didn't open until 9. After being on hold for 30 minutes I finally was able to speak with someone who told me I could go get another truck from another location and that uhaul would take off my 50 something dollar rental fee. The fee was never taken off. And I didn't get in the truck until 930. Horrible experience. Even if it was because of the other place not setting the truck up, uhaul is the name on the truck and that's who you are using to represent you. And your employee clearly lied about the fee being taken off. On your side of the reservation you knew the truck wouldn't be ready but yet didn't tell me and wasted my morning running around looking for a truck using my time that I didn't have. We rented a pick up truck and we're not told until we got there that it was unavailable. They â€œupgradedâ€ us to a 15' box truck in which the air conditioner didn't work- this was July in Alabama. We really needed the pick up truck got our purposes- the box truck was too big and bulky, but we had no choice but to take it since we weren't aware that the pick up was not working until we got there. Also, we were charged twice as much as we were quoted for a this box truck that we didn't even what. It was impossible to get in touch with anyone at the phone numbers that the location provided. Also, When we returned the truck, the mileage info and gas info that we had to â€œmatchâ€ were for the pick up truck, not the box truck.AMY S.

The store was closed when I was to pick up my truck as the owner was out on a work call for his tinting business. He then wanted me to drive the truck out of the lot using a rocky hill but it had rained so the truck was slipping and getting stuck. He also didn't want to send the utility cart out of town so I wasn't able to rent a cart for moving our appliances.Andrew W.
The parking area for the truck was not paved and the truck was dirty on the outside. Inside was exceptionally clean. Tires and wheels were covered with clay. I washed them and they looked like new. Just not a good look personElwin B.

We ordered a appliance dollie but was told that they would not send one out one way. This made things very difficult. Nothing on the website said we could not order one for a one way rental. Why would we be allowed to click on it on the website if this was not option ? Additionally noone called us to let us know this. The back of the truck had not been swept out from the previous use and had nasty cigarette butts in it.jennifer R.

Send an email version of the contract when the reservation is made, we did not receive one. Send an alert when changes to the pick up location are made. We made reservations to pick up the truck in Birmingham, AL and it was changed without warning or notice to Jasper, AL, almost 50 miles away. Figuring this out and getting out there added over three hours to our move. None of the extra equipment (dolly, packing pads, etc) that we had purchased was available at the pick up location. We were refunded, but still no prior notice was given and we had to spend even more time finding these items elsewhere as we needed them for the move and were told they were available per the reservation. Staff at pick up location were friendly but did not do walk around of truck or even tell me where it was. Interior of cabin was mostly clean but cup holders and passenger airbag was covered in sticky liquid that indicated they had not been cleaned since their last use, which is incredibly irresponsible and negligent in the middle of a global pandemic. All in all, due to a lack of communication on Uhaul's part, over six hours was added to our move time, which was not only incredibly inconvenient and unacceptable, but meant some of the friends that had offered to help us were no longer available to do so, which added yet more time to our move process. This was one of our worst moving experiences and I doubt we will use Uhaul in the future.JAMES A.

Only issueci had was that i called the day the truck was scheduled to be returned to verify the time it had to be back and was told 2pm but that was an hour ahead of my time which would have be 1pm my time. That was not disclosed to me at the time of rental. I was not able to finish by that time which caused me to be charged for another day. I called uhaul and they are supposed to have the rental place call me back hopefully tomorrow, 1/30/20. I was also told by uhaul personnel that it should've been 2pm my time.Robert C.
