Our rental experience with U-Haul for a pick-up truck was flawless. The office staff were courteous and service was excellent. The only negative with the experience was the fact that we had to drive 20 miles for a pick-up truck. We have several U-Haul facilities within 3 miles of our home and none were able to rent a pick-up truck. Add pick-up trucks to your Foley,AL locations please.

Jeff BI will not use the self pick up again, it took nearly 30 minutes to get the truck and I had to call support as app did not work, also self pick up only showed after reservation so will use alternative to uhaul in future. This negative review was nothing related to the truck or location but at uhaul corporate, never again.

George MI made reservations a week ahead of time and I scheduled the pickup for 9am to ensure I would be able to get the truck. The Area Manager of the location decided he was going to cancel my reservation because I had to work and I was unable to answer the phone and he had canceled my reservation as I needed the truck for 3 days to move. I find it very disrespectful that he did this as I had my reasons for reserving the truck he called himself keeping it available for other folks. This dude can kiss my ass that’s bad business and I won’t recommend anyone to this location or any other location this money sucking dude is the manager of. Most people that work for Uhaul represent a certain laziness to the themselves lack of everything.

David PI drove the 10ft truck 32 miles. On the way to return the truck I stopped and put gas in the vehicle until the needle was on the full mark, slightly higher than where it was when I picked up the truck when they told me that it was on full. After receiving my emailed receipt I saw that I was charged $9.50 for 2 gallons of gas. I’ve rented from Uhaul several times in the past and never had something like this happen. Unless there is a gas station IN the parking lot, there is no way to return a truck “overfilled”. It is only $9.50 but the charge is ridiculous, as it was not “overfilled” when I picked it up. I’ve never had this happen at any other Uhaul location…. Very disappointing after 5 hours of loading and unloading.

Brittany DThe floor on that truck had a spot towards the lift gate that is soft. It has been previously repaired and riveted but it’s weak and I almost rolled my ankle in it. It needs strengthened in that spot.
SHARI WI was charged double the mileage. I told the clerk and she said there was nothing she could do my card would be charged and that I should have verified my miles. But i did verify my miles and this isn’t the first time that I’ve been overcharged by this U-Haul company I will be reporting it for odometer fraud.

Darryl BI was charged an extra 20 for returning my equipment after hours/late when my time was 8pm central time and I returned it at 7:30 central. This is ridiculous! If You’re gonna up charge people fees for returning it within the agreed time frame you should let people know or include it on the contract they signed! I will not return to this location or use uhaul in the future!
