I made a reservation on line on a Monday. I went to look over the unit on Tuesday. There was a sign on the door that said, "will reopen on Tuesday at 2PM" It was Tuesday, around 4PM. There was no one there and no one was answering the phone. Since I was leaving for Pennsylvania on Wednesday, I left a message on their machine to please give me a call back to ensure I was going to be able to pick up the trailer. No call back. I drove over to pick it up on Wednesday, not knowing if I was going to be able to get it or not. Very stressful because I was totally unfamiliar with the area.

seller charged me 2 times for the rental. I will have to contact Visa and contest the second charge. That is if seller will not issue a credit for the second charge.

The location is on a busy highway. The location would not "ping" on our phone and we were told yo cross the highway. The "engine" light was on in the vehicle.

Both locations were very clean and organized. I was able to extend me used of the trailer with no problems from anyone. I'm very happy with the outcome of my use with Uhaul. I will definitely use them again.

They were very nice and gave me no trouble. Just accepted the keys and sent me on my way. I asked if we should verify the mileage or check the vehicle, or if I should sign anything — although it is unclear to me how they could have known what the condition of the vehicle was when I picked it up in any case. They had no idea I was coming to drop off, had no idea what kind of vehicle I was dropping off, no info whatsoever. I asked how I would get verification or documentation that they were accepting the vehicle back without claiming any damage or charging me anything extra, and the person looked at me like I was speaking Martian. The entire experience seemed designed to allow UHaul (corporate) maximum flexibility to charge me whatever they might choose on the back-end, for whatever reason they might choose. I was emailed a contract I never signed with terms I never agreed to — and the people I dealt with on both ends could not have been less interested in me as a customer. How is UHaul staying in business? You’ve lost mine for sure.

Well for starters, I was notified a couple hours before my scheduled pickup that my reservation was moved to a location nearly 30 minutes from my address. A D Home Goods & More needs to make sure its GPS location in the U-haul system matches its actual location. We ended up having to make several u-turns in the middle of the highway and, ultimately, complete the pickup near the back of the building on the side of the highway. It was extremely dark and my dad had to walk around the building and down the road to the truck while I sat in the car in order to obtain the information from the truck without me being kicked out of the system for moving my car to where the actual trucks were. This process took nearly an hour to complete due to the GPS issue and the agent on the phone wasn’t very helpful at all. Additionally, the equipment that we reserved and paid for we’re not in the truck. No other location would give us the dolly and furniture dolly the next day so we were forced to lift every single piece of furniture and carry it out to the truck and then over 100 yards to the elevator and down to my new apt. My dad’s back has still yet to fully recover due to your negligence.

Turn in via the my.uhaul website did not work for me. Despite following the instructions for location settings on my mobile device the website would not recognize my location. I had to return at a later time to return the equipment in person.

Pick up time was 9:30. We arrived on time unfortunately no one was there. We waited until 10:00 along with 2 other customers finally the employee came in. Instead of waiting on customers she decided to bring stuff out and place outside in front of the store. We were extremely upset about the service we received. Truck had an exhaust leak and was extremely loud.

The location is very scary with poor lighting. Picked up truck at 8pm with two children and did not feel safe with large dogs barking at us from a gate. The building looked horrible and dangerous with bars on the windows. The truck had numerous damages to outside and could not use the mobile app as GPS did not recognize the location. On phone with customer support for an hr.

The truck was clean and ready to go. I started with a quarter of a tank, enough to allow me to get to another state with cheaper gas prices. Check in was easy online, as was check out. I am pleased with the level of technology that has been implemented with the rental process.

I should have known from the jump that this rental was going to be a disaster. The day before our truck was to be picked up, I was contacted that our preferred location did not have it available so we were going to have to drive 20 minutes out of the way to get the equipment. I had to request a credit for the extra mileage as it was not even offered to me and was over 30 minutes away from our new home we were moving to. Then, we got the truck from the gentleman at the pickup location but he seemed to not have any of our information so we had to give it all to him again. We thought going inside would be easier than doing it from the app but I guess we were wrong. I will say, we had to extend the rental a few times due to rain and our closing date being delayed and they were very accommodating about that which I appreciated. However, I have had to call customer service 3 different times to have them correct our final invoice that is trying to charge us for equipment that we never rented. They even charged my card for this equipment without my authorization! I have been assured I will be refunded for the extra equipment in 3-5 days so fingers crossed I get my money back and never have to deal with U-Haul again.

Left rear tire had no air and was plugged with some type of styrofoam sealer in the sidewall. Sidewall repairs are not a legal type of tire repair.

The mileage gauge was in the same spot when I returned the truck as it was when I rented it. I was charged $9.00 for fuel and I am not happy!

Better understanding of how to use the Uhaul rental interface - it took a long time for them to get it figured out for a simple trailer rental. Both fenders on the trailer were very distorted. They did not interfere with the tires at all though. The inside of the trailer was clean and the owners very nice - Simply not well versed in the Uhaul rental interface.
