U haul app and online pick up was very difficult to use. It took 3 people to figure it out! Next time will use check out in person! Truck was OK, but had many scratches and dents. When returning truck, noticed that the hand truck strap had snapped and came loose from the holder. Hopefully I will not be charged for this. Overall, move went well

Patricia MReservation didn't mention that pick up time was exact. I was almost an hour later and had to redo my reservation. If it's reserved, it's reserved. This location was having network issues due to bad weather and it took time out of my moving schedule I didn't expect. The ladies were nice and got through it quickly with their limited network abilities. I also didn't realize the steps for after hours return. If I would've been fair warned, I would've taken better pics of the truck as the site requested. It was cold and windy and I had a ride waiting on me. I didn't expect the return process to be so lengthy and luckily had my phone along to take all those pictured, of the truck from across the parking lot. May want to give some of that info up front for awareness. Also, need to verify mileage of truck because I paid almost double the cost of the truck just for mileage. Did someone not note the correct mileage during the previous rental?

Willy NThis was a great size vehicle for the move we had to make to college. Vehicle rode well, packed great and was very comfortable to drive . Vehicle was in economical on fuel . I will rent from this site again. Very clean and nice staff to assist me in my move.

Jon CCan't believe a $20 after hours service fee was added to drop the keys in an outside box. Other U-Haul locations in Red Lion and York did not charge this fee in prior rental experiences in the past 12 months

BRIAN SLocation was very nice, updated, clean. Customer Service People were all helpful and very nice. There was an incident though which was rather very concerning. First experience using this location, and I was charged for 3 days, Rental, 3 days of Safe Move Coverage, when only having and doing the use of one day, about 7-8 hours, 25 miles use. I was credited by customer service the same day I questioned this and that was excellent of them! But I was charged 20 dollars on "after hours service fee" and for most likely that I did not do a self check in? That was lame to be charged and not the dealers rules...but Uhaul's and a money grab.
Kevin OI waited one hour in the parking lot for a code for the key box. I think it would be a good idea to not have your customers wait an hour for a code, it should show up in the app.

Adrian JI used mobile pickup. Struggled with “location services” while trying to use because I was using through the link provided by uhaul and website on my phone, not the app. You have to download the app to use mobile services. You might want to make sure your customers know this clearly- would’ve saved me a lot of time and frustration! Other issue is I didn’t know if pictures I took would work (fuel level/mileage) -never received a confirmation if they went through. Mobile pickup is great idea but needs work. Thank you.
Tricia BI tried multiple times to check in when returning the truck. I read and followed all directions. It would go to return truck, then to a blank screen and would go no further. I finally just dropped the keys in the drop box and left the truck. Very frustrated! I called the rental office this morning. They could see my attempts and did the check in for me.

The ladies in the office were so helpful and I was able to rent a storage unit while I was there too! Whatever the manager is doing there is how other Uhauls rental locations should be. Highly recommend
James HThe cab was not clean. Found old dog collar. Was dirty inside. Before we started there was some type of bugs crawling around. Either fleas bed bugs or nymphs

I’m not phone or computer savy. Fortunately my son and a helpful employee who did answer the phone guided me through the nightmare

Kelly CBunch of complete Horse Shit. I have a documented 11 miles driven on the vehicle used. I put $10 in gas into it after using it(Knowing that was more than i needed to replenish what i used). Meanwhile the assholes at the rental place charge me an $18 gas surcharge anyway. That's a complete bunch of garbage. Even if i didn't put the $10 in $18.75 is more gas than what you would use in the documented 11 fucking miles i drove. A complete scam job that the consumer protection agency will hear about.
Michael FThere was a mix up on someone's part that caused about an hour delay. The on line did not work to get the key. It said the key was in the truck in the back. It was not. I had to call the emergency line at ABRS and they were able to get a key for me. I had to wait on hold for over 15 minutes with the call to U Haul. And they could not help me, they needed my wife to call in. Then we would have to hold on for another time to get service. That was when ABRS called back with the key instructions. Was not happy with how U Haul helped with this.
Anita AThe $20 fee is you dont do self check in is....RIDICULOUS. I am retired...have less than good eye sight to do that on my phone. Just not right! I also just needed a small truck for 2 hrs but had to pay more because they only had a 20 ft truck.
JOSEPH MCUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU CAN NEVER GET THROUGH TO THEM ON THE PHONE UNLESS YOU HAVE EATEN BREAKFAST, TAKE A SHOWER, CLEAN YOUR HOUSE AND MOW YOUR GRASS, AND THEN AFTER ALL OF THAT, THEY MAY ANSWER. THEIR WEBSITE SUCKS JUST AS BAD!!!!!!!!!!!

Kathy RBetter Rate Storage is great. However the agent, Silverback Services of where we were routed to pick up our truck is terrible and very unprofessional. Our truck was not available for us on the day we went to pick it up and we had to be delayed 2 hours trying to remedy the mess of a situation that happened. I will never use this method of pickup and will not recommend Silverback Services because of the rudeness received to us and the unwillingness to help with correcting the issue of our truck being taken by another individual. Our experience was very stressful and not anything I would recommend to anyone else. Better Rate Storage saved the day for us when I called them and explained the situation and the dissatisfied service we received at Silverback Services.

SANDRA HThe u-haul share return process was horrible. The website would not grab my location even though I had granted location access. I downloaded another browser to try again and it eventually found my location. Adding pictures to the steps in the return process made the mobile return nearly unusable. It only let me add three photos for most of my experience. I would get to step 4 and try to add a photo of where the truck was parked but it would not upload the photos. I eventually figured that the 4 photos were probably too large in file size to be uploaded. So, I switched to the front facing camera with lower resolution and it finally uploaded. I work in IT support which I why I came to this conclusion. It should not take a person in IT support to figure out how to return one of your trucks. I will not use U-haul again.

Edward BI had movers that never answered my call for two weeks and had to switch to new movers last minute . They do not cover any differences in money if this happens and you have to switch last minute since their movers through U-Haul are advertisements . Tried to find different movers and five of them weren’t even real places and were located nowhere near red Lion pa per filter I entered to search in the area . The day of moving we were supposed to get our truck earlier than the scheduled time and nothing was available we had to get a new size truck and truck share because ours somehow was relocated to north George street instead of in red Lion . Let’s keep in mind that I also paid for all of this a month and a week in advance and it all went to hell a week before moving
