Better prepare renter for pick up if the location is closed. I am as not informed that's the location would be closed when I picked up and was in aware of the online process. Not being prepared created frustration

kendra D.Truck was at an “overflow lot†whose driveway was blocked with orange cones with no one there to move them â€" this was when I picked up the truck abs then when I returned. The truck has not been cleaned. Soiled blanket in the back and empty bottle in the front was evidence of non cleaning. Lastly, the owner of this place called me (frantically) on Sunday morning asking where this truck was. I returned the key to the main location after dropping off the tuck â€" so they should have known by checking the key box. I even dropped it off before the close of business on Saturday and the truck was not Ben due back until Sunday. Then the owner called again telling me to call this uhaul location saying they informed him my card was declined for insufficient funds. Not only did my debit card have a lot of money in the bank but they had already run my card as there was a “processing charge.†I will not be using this location again.

Karrisah F.My response is limited, due to the wrong questions being asked. I believe that an assessment of the online process should be considered as well. Concerning the location and rental unit, challenges included the following: 1. The security lock,'accessing the truck key, was difficult to manage, in reference to opening. The online U-Haul representative gave me a total of four codes to use in attempts to getting the lock to respond. 2. The cab of the vehicle was not clean. There was clear residual within the cup holders as well as residual mud on the floorboard on the driver's side. Additionally, the driver's chair was damaged, exposing the phone under the upholstery. Failure to address immediately could lead to greater damage or requirements for replacing. 3. Lastly, the vehicles rear ramp was difficult to close and required several attempts before successfully closing. Resistance in closing the ramp indicated possible lack of lubrication and/or rusting.
