Judith DMy problem was not with the location, but with UHaul overall. When I booked this there was a 26 foot truck available in Big Bear but I was told it was a one-way truck only so I had to pay 80 miles of travel mileage to take a vehicle from San Bernardino to Big Bear and back when there was a truck available in the town that I needed it.

Marco II'm very upset, I called the uhaul in Crestline, I was told they had a available truck, Only to get a msg that I had to drive down the mountain to San Bernardino. So without questioning I drive down to San Bernardino, Thinking I could drop off in Truck in Crestline. NOPE! The San bernardino location says I have to return the truck back to them. The store manager called the corporate mgr was given permission to give me a discount on mileage, Because it's 40 miles from Lake Arrowhead to San Bernardino and 40 Miles back. I was promised a .50cent discount per mile. That promise was not fulfilled. I was charged full price. I paid for 90 miles 80 of those miles was me driving out of my way cause I was mislead by the Crestline location, Then mislead by the San bernardino location Thinking I was getting a discount. I paid over $200. For a truck I used for one run a total of 10 miles. I feel very taken advantage of. I don't think I will ever use Uhaul again. I'm really upset!

Miguel MI've rented a 20 foot truck multiple times to pick up from a food bank for our Church's food ministry without any issues. The last two times I've received the same truck and had mechanical issues both times to where we barely made it back. I reported the mechanical issues and U-Haul checked it out and said it was fine. Truck runs fine with no load but once loaded could not accelerate past 25 mph while overheating on the freeway. I reported the issue again to my dealer so we'll see what happens. I'm hesitant to rent this truck again without knowing it's repaired. Our pick up dealer is wonderful to work with and directly across from our church. I hope this issue can be resolved. Thank you

miesha nI suppose the main man in charge of the U-Haul rental must be the proprietor of what seems to be a combination liquor and doodad store. In San Bernardino, no less. But the man was very smart, cordial, was able to answer all my questions, and the location seemed quite secure. I highly recommend this place for a U-Haul transaction.
Mark VHave the reservation that is ordered. My truck wasn't available, and I had to take a smaller truck. What's the point in a reservation if the truck isn't available...didn't even get a discount, and had to take more trips than originally planned, which caused more mileage and gas.

Janet SMade my reservation in a uhaul near my home previous home and new one . Only to call to confirm and they say they don't have one. Get sent to a Moreno valley location to get cancelled again . Then got sent over 20 miles away each way to another location that did have my uhaul . When I booked mine almost a week and half ago to avoid problems and got spending a lot more in miles and gas . This wasn't my fault so why did I have to pay more than what I was supposed to spend in the first place making my uhaul rental over $95 in miles alone and 50 in gas all because my location doesn't have my uhaul ready for pick up. Mind you I was 7 Miles compare to 20 unnecessary miles I spend . Not cool at all !!!!

Jeanette LI returned the truck and clean out the back. But when they seen it they had me take it to the car wash and wanted me to wash the truck shoot it’s not like I drove in the mud. And if I didn’t they wanted to charge me $25 that’s crazy I will never rent from here again!!!!!
