The only complaint I have is that I reserve equipment at a certain place that works for me and then I receive text messages or emails to pick it up at a location that’s 30 miles from where I had reserved.The worst part is that the location closed before I got of work leaving me to call direct to U-Haul sites until I found one. The 800 number customer service was no help at that time. Did it on my own.

This location is not manned on a consistent basis. I asked if I might pick up the trailer at 11 and the individual on the phone said more like 11:30. I was there a 11:30 and waited til 12 for someone to show up.

The place was closed when they said it was open hours. NO one to be found! No cell service to call anyone, no internet to return myself. Never again will I use Uhaul after that experience! Still no receipt for returning the truck. I would appreciate a call to find out if the return receipt was submitted

We returned the truck before the stated 1 pm closing time Saturday, to find that the place is not open on Saturday! Left the key and contract in provided slots but heard nothing from him the next business day (Monday). Was worried that our contract was not closed and called UHaul 5 times before gaining satisfaction.

First, I was upgraded without any discussion, by that was ok in the end. Second, I pad for an estimated 40 miles with the promise that I would get a refund if I drove less. My contract claimed there was 3/4 tank. In the end I drove 17 miles (half of what we projected) and the gas gauge had not moved. There was still 3/4 of a tank. And yet, I was charged an additional $10.39. What was that about?

When I showed up the clerk did not know how to fill out the paperwork. it took 1-1/2 hours. He left me alone to hook it up & the safety chains did not fit my truck & the running lights did not work. Luckily, the roving mechanic showed up by chance & fixed everything after another 45 minutes. His name was I think Donald Divito, a very nice man. I do not understand why this was not done the previous day. I took me almost 3 hours to check it out. Also with all that is going on in this country I do not understand why you do not give Military discounts. Rich Othmer

I did the express check in online. When I arrived at the pickup location the truck was ready and clean. We quickly reviewed the reservation, looked over the truck and were on our way. The staff were friendly, polite and professional.

I loved the after hours pick up and drop off processes online using my mobile device. The checklists are very thorough and concise. The steps were easy to follow. The representative I spoke to over the phone to help confirm my identity was kind and patient. She explained processes very clearly. The truck I received was very clean and ready to go.overall happy with my Uhaul experience.

I picked up my truck from 2461 Rt 9 in Garrison, NY which I had reserved 4 days earlier. I went in and began getting the paperwork done and the guy tries to trick me into buying more miles saying I already had them down in the reservation. (Of course I did not, and why don't they offer unlimited like their competition?) So I had him remove the added miles fee. Then he hands me my paperwork and says I'm good to go. Doesn't tell me which truck or anything. So I walk outside and finally find the one I was looking for and it's covered in about a weeks worth of snow and ice. I spent about a half hour trying to remove the ice from the windows in 15 degree weather so I could actually see out. I probably won't use uhaul again.
