Thank goodness for the attendant at this location who was AWESOME. I was using the uhaul app and it refused to accept pictures of my passport as ID. The app is close to being solid, but when it jams up like this, is super frustrating and the rental clock is ticking. Also it's very unclear what the rental period is. Do customers just make it up when they select it from the drop-down, or is it a certain amount of time? This is confusing.

Local vendor was fine. Uhaul online reservations was really poor. The morning of my reservation Uhaul sent me an email changing my reservation from 2 day to 22 hours a different pickup time and mobile app pickup only😳. At pickup, the app showed that my reservation was expired prompting several phone calls to Uhaul Customer Service and lots of holding and transferring back and forth between Uhaul employees who couldn't help. Very bad experience. Next time I will explore other options besides Uhaul.

I was charged $10 for insurance even though I rejected it. Although the advertised price for one hour is $19.95, I ended up paying almost $50.

I was greeted by a man in a mask with a sanitizing wipe to take my driver's license and credit card. I really appreciate his attention to COVID precautions. He was also very friendly. Overall a great experience!

We originally rented for 2 days, but realized we would need a third. We sent an email to them and they set it up for another day. The gentleman was very polite and gracious and it was a relief to have the the extra day added for me. I got sick from the heat, so what was a stressful time was made easier. It's not the location that made my experience less than stellar...it was the horrible online check in and check out. On both pick up and drop off I had to call into uhaul and work out some thing that wasn't functioning as it should. I'm looking for less stress,not more.

I understand I was late with my return, but It would have been nice to be informed or called ahead of time prior to a repossession of the vehicle. I still have the truck keys, and I do not know what of my personal belongings were left in the truck.

I have rented at many UHAUL locations. This is by far the best I have ever found in or elsewhere. The owners are effective, timely, kind and honest. This is the only place I will go.

I have 2 charges on this reservation which are different price of said charge. 1st one was $31.89 and the 2nd is $ 25.37 which is the correct amount to be charged to my credit card. already sent an email noting this charge needs to be address and to receive the credit due. I was supposed to drop off the vehicle at another location and was not notified until I tried to return the vehicle that I needed to go to this location I was supposed to get credited for 25 miles due to the mix up. The person at the drop off location said he wasn't allowed to do that. How can I get the processed? Thanks

I have only the highest regard for the 7A Budget Mini Storage staff and how they handle U-Haul service. No complaints at all. I do have issues with my experience with U-Haul corporate. I booked my U-Haul rental online, which seemed easy. I then needed to change my rental from 8 hours to 24 hours. I called the local U-Haul location on Oracle (Automall), but they were unable to assist with the change. I then called the 800 number and my reservation was changed to accommodate my 24 hour need, although I had to downgrade from 17' to 15'. I got an email confirming the change, which was for pickup at the same Oracle location from 1 PM on 7/26 to 1 PM on 7/27. A bit later I got additional confirmation emails and texts, but these showed pickup at the 7A Budget Mini Storage location all of a sudden. And then I received emails indicating that the rental was from 1 PM on 7/26 to 10 PM the same day. I called the 800 number back and they confirmed that the rental location had to be changed, but that the 24 hour rental period was still in effect. Because I was moving and had many other things on my plate, I didn't argue about the change in location. Long story short, I wound up driving 90 miles, partially due to the much greater distance to and from the new pickup location. I was also charged $0.99/mile instead of the $0.19/mile I was quoted, resulting in a much larger cost than I had anticipated. Will not be using U-Haul again. No issues with the fine folks at 7A Budget Mini Storage though!

I reserved and paid for a 10 foot truck, but when I got there they only had a 15 foot truck, so I had to take that. It was bigger than I needed, and thus hard to load safely. Also there was an extra 6$ charge for 'environmental fees' and tax, as well as costing me about $5 more for gas. Not alot, but annoying all the same on a stressful day in searing desert heat. Bottom line-- don't tell people they've reserved trucks you don't have.

Ms Sheila and staff were great!! I've never rented a U-Haul vehicle before so I had lots of questions. They recommended getting a little padlock to secure the truck bed overnight and explained how to get the best mileage economy. Really great people.
