The guy did not give me back my license. I had to drive all the way back to the uhaul office to go get it and the all the way back to the place i had driven to. Its not fair i had to pay for those miles. On top of that i filled the tank to the same as it was when I picked up the truck. When i turned it in the guy argued that i need to fill the tank. I was afraid but i stated he was wrong but he was so rude. I knew if i argue more in the end im still not going to make him see my point. So i basically filled the tank for free and was charged extra miles. BAD BAD BAD SERVICE IM GOING TO SHARE TO ALL THE PEOPLE I SPEAK TO NEVER USE UHAUL. BAD BAD BAD. I SHOULD HAVE JUST GOTTEN A NICE RENTAL PICK UP TRUCK AT THIS PRICE. NEXT TIME IM STAYING WITH ENTERPRISE

I asked for 2 additional hours at lot that was obviously not in high demand and was told by uhaul.com it was $58 more. At low peak to better retain customers. A more reasonable price would have been prudent

Check engine light on. Breaks on vehicle making lots of noise. Representative who checked me out starting yelling at me, afterwhich his manager fired him on the spot.

Why doesn't the 10 ft truck have a ramp? I understand that maybe it wouldn't be built in, but there isn't even the option to rent a ramp that attaches? All I had to move yesterday was a fridge, and I didn't see there wasn't a ramp until it was too late. I called, and the lady said that I could have rented a 15' truck to get a ramp, but that seems ridiculous for just one refrigerator. At the very least, it should be advertised a little more clearly that the 10' truck doesn't have a ramp. It seems like a major design flaw, especially on a moving truck.

The mileage issue continued and the onsite associates were no help. They told me i would have to come back and pay a late fee. I was forced to called customer service myself for them to talk to. After an hour on the phone they took the keys and told me to leave without a receipt or any assurance the issue had been solved.

The owner was a bit of a dick and was acting like I was inconveniencing him. I was trying to be polite but his communication skills weren't very good, and wasn't very assisting in the return process. He also threw the copy of my receipt at me. I wouldn't recommend this location.

Have the trucks actual on site. I went to my first site and the truck wasn't returned so I had to travel to another site where I received a shorter truck.

The person I picked the truck up from was helpful, however when I went to drop off the truck, the site made an issue of what the contract said. That would be fine, but the pick up site told me they marked that I could drop the truck off where ever there are Uhauls.

I was charged 14.95 for insurance, that I didn' t ask for. I did over look it on the contract. It shouldn't have been on my contract, I didn't request it on my reservation.

U-Haul did not honor my original reservation for a 26' truck. Instead downgraded me to a 20' truck that was almost the same cost as the 26' truck. And I was notified less than 24 hours prior to my rental. Furthermore, my requested rental location was changed. These changes cost me mileage fees.

This time my experience was better than the last. Setting up a time was difficult. I needed it at 6pm. Got scheduled for 12 noon. Called back got scheduled for 3pm. Oh well. The worker was cool. And Ms/Mrs Roxanna Linares was also a great help to me. Thank you very much.

The truck was dirty and thsy need tl follow the uhaul process by evaluating the equipment before charging for the equipment. Also going over the contract before charging the customer. Very unprofessional and not helpful.

Truck was clean, but... steering pulled very hard to right and wobbled severely. About 15 miles into my drive the tread on the left front tire blew off. I called the hotline and the tire was repaired after an hour and 45 minutes. I marked the "clean and well maintained" as NO due to the tire and steering being bad. After the tire was replaced the steering was smooth and no longer pulled.

Make sure that the quoted price for rental ( cents/mile and refueling prices) coincide with the original quote. Example: I was originally quoted 70 cents per mile but instead was charged 79 cents per mile.

Located at gas station/convenience store. A little awkward speaking with the rep behind the counter as we had to stand in the doorway and speak over a tall glass liquor case. Rep was courteous.

Ringed tie-downs in box for different tie down straps

this place should not be associated with U-Haul. The person in charge (I believe manager ) was rude and unprofessional. he was more concern to sell few gallons of his gas product rather than taking care or providing service to U-haul customers. I believe strongly he should be removed from your station list. never seen such unprofessional and rude U-Haul performance. I didn't need harassment from him reflecting U-haul operation.

I reserved over the phone and the man at the gas station was obviously peeved by the fact that he had to put in my information. It took almost half an hour because he kept taking taking other customers and the second man that took us outside with the vehicle didnt even know id he was showing us the right size truck.

The staff tells me (a woman) to help him lift the trailer closer to the side of the curve once he remove the trailer off my hitch. When I ask him to get his Co worker to help, he said " No he is cashier, he does lift heavy things" SMH. would not be back here.

Stay away from this UHaul location! 76 Station off Main Street in Hesperia. My usual U Haul experiences are great. This one was horrible. The man behind the counter was very rude and combative towards me. He starts the experience off by rolling his eyes after I tell him I'm here for a trailer pick up. He's on his cell phone and looks at me like I'm being an inconvenience to him. He hands me the paper work to sign and still on the phone not explaining what he wants me to sign. I ask him “what is this document?” He responds “ just sign it, I need a signature.” He heads to the back so I head to my truck and I wait and wait for him to come out. I end up backing up my truck and hooking up the trailer myself. Then he comes out with my pads and another paper to sign still on the phone. I have done this before so I know it's a damage inspection report so I do my own walk around and look for damage and open up the back of the UHaul and found a lot of trash inside the trailer. Now drop off. I come in and he asks me if I unloaded the trailer yet. I told him no I need a hand backing up. I'm not a very good trailer driver and I let him know that. I ended up getting the trailer a little jack knifed but only about 5 feet away from the spot he wanted me to park it at. I said” that is as far as I can go, let's unhook and push it back. “ He told me these exact words, “ If you drop the trailer there I will call the cops and charge you another day.” I was shocked and said “look man I'm willing to help you push the trailer back. They are not that heavy I have seen women push them back by themselves.” He then walked off. I ended up unhooking the trailer myself again. I signed my paperwork and told the man I will report him to U Haul. He then said “I don't care” and shewd me off. U Hauls a great company but there are a few rotten apples.

I would not and will not recommend u hall for the way you do business. too make someone pay double for dropping a trailer in another state or town is just like price gouging. $400.00 for a one day rental is just outrages. and one store said one thing and the other said another so I will never rent from u hall again.

Very slow at getting me checking in and out of the location even though I'd filled out the pre-check in. Spoke little English, heavy accent hard to understand. Wasted my time returning the trailer as they argued amungst themselves about where to park it. Left me to unhook it.

The person we dealt with at pick up was slow and kept making us wait for.other customers to get what they needed. I had to ask 4 times what my total was. The man was slow and rude. When we inspected the truck it was filthy inside and when I asked if.it was stained or just not cleaned by the last person he said "it wasn't cleaned by the last person". There was red dust everywhere and an oily substance that I had to clean so it wouldn't get on my belongings.

The pickup and drop off location was excellent, but the rest of my Uhaul experience was horrible. The phone reps did NOT take care of my requests causing me me to contact Uhaul by phone three times to correct the issues. TOTALLY unacceptable phone customer service.

The clerk was rude and got most of my information wrong because he kept stopping so that people could pay for their gas/food/alcohol. He didn't listen when I tried to correct him, and he got very snippy with me and said that he had work to do. I was very disappointed, and needed to get gas but drove down the road to the nearest gas station instead of giving this jerk any more of my money. I will never use this place again, and will look for a different brand if UHaul tries to make me pick up from here.

Computer went down, had to wait 30+ minutes to pay when returning the truck. Very nice guys, apologetic, but that and the time it took waiting for the guy to get off his phone when picking up and dropping off as well was a bit of an annoyance. Only one guy working that could do the uhaul rentals at this location so it was inconvenient for him to be handling other business as well and making the uhaul portion his secondary priority.

It took the guy 45 min to find my reservation and get me checked out and I was the uhaul customer there. He kept ringing up other customers for gas which may be because he was the only one working. However, even when no one was there he seemed to be having a difficult time getting my reservation and ringing me up. And it made it more difficult because I had to drop off the van at a separate location

I had to drive out to Hesperia location from Phelan to get the trailer. It would be more convenient to rent and return here in Phelan, but you were out of trailers here. The 76 station in Hesperia guys were great though.
