The store manager was exceptionally nice and easy to deal with and helped us out by coming in early to allow us to pick up the truck when we needed it. All in all, we were very pleased with the U-Haul rental experience.Timothy W.

The truck was FILTHY! The back was whatever, but the cab was disgusting. There was food crumbs and dirt on floor, coffee and soda spilled all in cup holders and running down dash. I felt disgusting sitting in it. I had to clean it myself just to be ok riding in there.MICHELLE C.

When you have ordered blankets or anything else it would be nice to be informed of their non availability 3 or 4 days prior to the day you pick up your trailer or truck instead of the day you picked it up. I could have gotten blankets from my drop off location and brought them with me.jack S.

Vehicle was over two quarts low on oil when I got it and the cargo area had not been swept and had a spill of some kind gumming up an area of the deck. The person that checked me in was helpful and fast. That was a plus.Shawn F.
Not charge the customer when they bring the vehicle back with MORE gas than it was received with. Received vehicle with 1/8 of a tank; was charged a fuel fee when it had more than that upon return. I will never use U-Haul again; this entire experience was terrible and the people who I have dealt with to resolve this were not helpful.Rusty P.

MY CREDIT CARD WAS DOUBLE CHARDED THE ESTIMATE WAS WAS PAID BY MY CREDIT CARD COMPANY AND FIRST CHARGE WAS FOR 56.83 AND THEN WHEN I RETURNED THE TRUCK IT SHOWED ANOTHER AMOUNT. THEN , THE PAPERWORK STATED THAT i rented it for 6 hours. not 24 hours as $19.. daily when I received the text message contract stated it was for 6 hours I therefore had to return it before the day was gone by 4:45 pm same day. My contract was to pick up in Mooresville, but the trailer was located in Statesville. I had to travle 25 extra miles to get it. The inside of the trailer was not cleaned, I had to do it myself. The personnel was not very motivated and I had to obtain a wire harness from another trailer to connect mine since I was tired of waiting.Derek S.

Your IT systems and logistics systems are terrible. You moved me to a far away location and then told me to check out the truck electronically when there was no electronic check in at the location in Statesville. The only reason I got the rental on the day I needed it is because of the good personal and HUMAN service of the people at Wholesale Direct in StatesvilleJoseph K.

I reserved a 10' truck at this location and upon arrival to pick it up I was told they didn't have it and had to rent a 15'. I was also concerned about acquiring extra fees, I told them I would return it Saturday (Friday pick up) and the paperwork said I was returning Friday by 8pm. Upon realizing this at drop off I asked the customer service worker if I would be charged additionally and he seemed to be completely clueless and told me no, I don't think so. I was told I would be able to pick up my Uhaul with a mobile check in, in which I would use my phone to take pictures, record the number of the truck, and find out the location of the keys. I was told I could do this at 8 am, when I requested it, even though the building that housed the Uhaul did not open until 10. When I arrived, I was not able to do this. When I called the number, several numbers, for Uhaul, I was told that the people at this location did not properly put the key where they were supposed to for mobile pick up. However, the representative on the phone was also short with me and at no point was I apologized to. Therefore, I had to wait for 2 hours, after getting there at 8 am, to get my truck at 10 am. When we finally could get the truck, the location they sent me to did not have a furniture dolly, which was in my reservation and I had already paid for. I therefore had to get one in Mooresville. Overall, I had a very poor experience and will never use Uhaul again or recommend them to anyone, especially this location.Phillip S.

Put fuel in before returning and was charged an outrageous amount saying it wasn't filled to the exact amount which is crazy!! Drove less miles than paid for didn't see anyone offering a credit for that. Won't use uhaul again will go with Penske for future needstracy B.
I needed an appliance dolly which I reserved on-line but they didn't have any. Also, the van had a bunch of old newspapers in the back as well as debris on the floor. I brought it back cleaner than it was.Frankie M.
