Your policy regarding overfilling of the tank sucks. It was moving day, so when my fiance (who doesn't drive) hopped out to fill the tank, I was on the phone with our lawyer and couldn't flag for him not to fill the tank. We only needed to put $20 in the tank - we only drove a total of about 25km - but he, thinking it was like other rental places, filled it. Then, when we took it back to the depot on Mississauga St. In Orillia, we were told that your policy is that you don't credit for an overfill. So, we're out $36 bucks over what we should have put in the car to top it up to the place on the gauge where the fuel was when we took it out that morning.Cynthia M.

Like every peice of equipment your locations rent out from there's always problems with your equipment. Sometwis always broken or about to break, not clean, or the price changes. I only use your organization when I absolutely have to. Your stuff is junk compared to other rental outfits, and your milage charges are criminal!IAN T.

Code the online reservation to reject Virtual Visa accounts. I arrived expecting to use it, but was forced to find a willing friend to use their credit card. Stressful, and avoidable! Otherwise the rep was courteous and respectful of my situation.Bryan P.

The size of truck I reserved wasn't available. Gave us another truck but cut our time down and had to return it with 2 hours less time than originally reserved. Was quoted a specific cost per km but charged a higher cost. A little bit disappointed but got the move done.angela S.

There was never anyone there to answer the phone when I tried to call and confirm the details of the reservation nor when they had not put the moving blankets in the vehicle as per the rental. I did try during their published operating hours. When I returned the vehicle the doors were locked, again during published operating hours on the UHaul website.Mark N.

U-haul called less than 24 hours before our reservation to tell us that they didn't have a vehicle. They offered one solution that was virtually impossible and left us scrambling to find a u-haul. After sitting on hood for over 20 minutes. Terrible customer service.Cheyene B.

Totally ridiculous that I booked a truck and they only had a van available. The guy also told us that 3 people showed up the day before for the same truck they had all rented. He blamed it on the online booking so then I suggest they fix the problem. It was very unprofessionalkim L.

I did not interface with anyone initially as I did a drop box completion. I did call back to let them know of the poor condition of the rental. They told me that I was being charged an extra $7 dollars for extra mileage even though I was redirected from my booked pick up centre to another that dealt with one way. I was supposed to have had extra mileage applied but I guess it was not done Suggestions 1. fix website booking to allow only one way trips to use certain locations.. .Harvey R.

Difficult to give a rating on location as it was closed and I used the mobile app to open and close the order. The help line was great in helping me thru the mobile checkin. One issue was that the parking lot was all ice and very dangerous to walk or drive on. I got in and out okay but the next customer got stuck.Ronald D.

I was missing the equipment asked for. The location is closed on the day I had to move so I did mobile pick up. The additional equipment / supplies were not in the back of the truck as I was led to believe. But I have dealt with this location before in person and everything went well.Lorie-Anne R.

We paid for roadside assistance and lost our keys. Took 3 days to get new ones and our furniture was left in the January rain for over 3 days. They never called when they said they would - never answered the phone. Assured us they would help and do something and then leave us for 12 hours in the rain. Ruined about 15,000 worth of furniture. Just remember that when you pay for the extra road side assistance - they left us in the rain for 3 days.Serge L.

it was impossible to contact this loc that was for some reason closed on NOV 30 so i had to rent for an additional day. I was advised by uhaul that i had to return the trailer when they were there and ended up keeping the trailer for another day as they would not answer their phone on dec 1. $140. fee for a $40 rental. Hopefully never again.John W.
