there was nothing wrong with the location or the vehicle, but the experience was horrible. I was not informed that this was to be done all online. Otherwise i would of picked a different location. I had problems checking in. I waited a long time to get help. It took 1 hour to finish the process correctly before i could get the key. U-Haul puts a lot of assumption that this is simple for everyone. I'm still upset about this experience and i also forgot my wrench and have no idea how to get it back.... NEVER AGAINMichele A.

Pickup was hard as the employee didn't want to help me at first. He said there's the lock box outside with the keys and good luck as he has no obligation to help me further. Then after 20 minutes of me standing in the rain trying to call Uhaul, he felt sorry for me so he brought me inside and decided to help me. Why didn't he just help me in the first place? Not the greatest pickup experience.James P.
The web site sucks. Clearly U-Haul thinks potential customers have time to waste. And after wading through screen after screen after screen of irrelevant upsells, the site flakes out and goes back to the start without providing any confirmation of my rental. I wanted to rent at a location with staff. The location description gave no indication that there were no staff at this site. U-Haul sent an e-mail proclaiming that they had upgraded my service when in fact I was forced into exactly the situation I wanted to avoid. Do not believe for a second the advertised pricing. It wasn't until the rental transaction was complete that U-Haul informed me that I was required to refill the fuel, despite the high mileage charge already imposed. Deceptive marketing would be the polite way to describe this business practice. Bottom line, if you have any option other than U-Haul, take it.John W.
My experience with uhaul it self was awful, they never sent the code to get the keys out of the mailbox. The owner of the car shop had to figure it out for us. Uhaul's digital pickup dropoff system was an absolute failure. We were severely delayed hitting the road and were forced to pay for an extra day because of uhaul's failed smartphone based system. The worst experience of my life. Almost abandoned because of difficulties with your internet retrieval system, I spent almost an hour trying to retrieve the key and go through the process. If you cannot provide human assistance at a location, don\t provide that location. It is the worst system imaginable.Michel R.

We had so many issues using the online check in that it took us two hours to actually leave the lot. There was no one available to help us, we ended up having to wait for over an hour to talk to a uhaul rep on the helpline. The first 2 times we tried to call selecting the â€œget help with online pickupâ€ option disconnected our call. Really negative experience.VICTORIA J.

I could not find a way to create an account or download the u-haul app to me phone, which it appears was necessary to pick up my key and to drop off the vehicle. The location was fine and convenient but the mobile check in did not work and we had to call the help number in order to access the key code for the lockbox for the truck keys and so the process ended up taking a long time and didn't feel very convenient. If the lockbox issue was sorted the location was good.Evan G.
The truck was dirty. The interior of the cabin is non-breathable. throw it very dirty and the windows so dirty`that you can hardly see outside. I do not recommend this place. This time I'm very disappointed with this u-hull serviceAboubacar D.
The cab was grungy, but not super dirty. Getting the key out of the lock box was challenging. You need to oil the locks. Also, I had to go pick up my boxes etc at a different location after I got my van. Couldn't U haul have put them in the van ready to go? But overall it was a good experience.Patricia J.

The U-Haul web app is absolutely TERRIBLE. I tried to use my MacBook Pro instead of my iPhone to do the transaction. After one hour of struggling with telephone and chat support, I was told 90% of people use their mobile phones and it was only then I was able to complete my reservation and pickup (same day, urgent requirement). U-Haul need shut down it's PC based web servation and go mobile only, or do a major upgrade. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER with a "modern" web application.Mike H.

Hi, I asked for a dolly and one was charged to my bill ($10 fee). However, when I picked up the truck there was no dolly in the back. I have a feeling it is going to be a painful process to get my $10 back so I'm not bothering with a refund request. Just please do a better job with dolly requests in the future. This truck had broken glass in the back and dirty rags, the dash of the truck was very dirty, and the windshield is a safety issue. When you drove into the sun you couldn't see our it, EXTREMELY dangerous. No matter what we did to try to clean it. Very disappointingCathy G.

This rental was an absolute horror. If you don't want to be in a truck rental business, then keep out of it. I didn't ask for online check-in / check-out. It took almost two hours to clear myself through the obstacle course of the malfunctioning app. The equipment - cart, dollies, blankets......were not in the vehicle. I had to scramble to get them from a hardware store. Sickening experience.Milan O.

I had no issues with the location. My issue was with uhaul customer service. Before booking, I having difficulty understanding how and if I could pick up from one location and drop off at another. I wanted a van, but when I was I called I was told that only 10' trucks or bigger could be dropped off at other locations. I reconfirmed and the rep said yes any location as it was a truck share option. I asked if it was a different cost as was told no because it was how the truck share works. Then when I get to the site, I call Customer service again and they tell me i can't. And that it will cost more. Then another rep Claude 849301 Advises me that I can't at all and it must be returned to pick up location. Claude was very nice, it was the original rep I spoke to before renting that provided me with wrong info. Had I known different I would have rented a trailer as I didn't want to incur so much extra cost for mileage. I was told that someone would get back to me to discuss possible partial reimbursement.Shawn V.

This has been the best location we have ever dealt with U-Haul. The gentleman was extreme professional & polite. Quick to serve and walk id to the truck!! We would definitely use this location again!! The only small matter we had is the invoice was in the wrong name and the other service person was not attentive at drop off or friendly at all. I'm sure she can use some good customer service training. Over all though due to the gentleman we would go there again. Thank YouGilles M.

There is no paperwork because of COVID, and that is very understandable. However when I went to fill up the tank, I did not have any gas gauge and there fore had no idea how much gas to put in to get it to the half tank that it was at when I first got the truck. I tried calling the u-Haul phone number and the girl had no idea. She said she would go find out and call me back... so I waited. When she called me back she told me that the tank was 31 gallons. I said I was in Canada, and asked her how many liters that is. She didn't know. She tried to figure it out and then I asked if she could tell me the liters for 1/8 of a tank. She told me 35-45L for one eighth tank! I knew that couldn't be correct so I did the math myself after the phone call. It is only about 14L for 1/8 tank. By the time I got the truck back to the store and went through the on the phone drop off, it was 45 minutes past the 4 hour mark. Having that information about the gas tank gauge would have saved me 45 minutes.haley W.

While we found the information on the U-Haul web-site to be somewhat confusing and misleading, the staff at 2189 Ogilvie Road by far made the experience more positive. They provided answers and assistance when necessary and we will happily recommend this location with thanks to them.Roy Y.
