I think it is ridiculous how much you charge if you aren't returning the truck to the same location. It is false advertisement when you show on the truck that it cost 39.95 a day to rent the truck but since I didn't return it to the same location it cost $160.00. That is a far cry from $39.95. Work on communication between U-Haul and customer. Do not wait until the day before to let customer know the location of pick up site. I had requested a pick up in Chester Virginia. I was given a street address for the pick up site and it was a good thing I repeated back that address because the site was in Prince George Virginia not Chester Virginia, That information was not given to me directly but because I repeated the address and happened to say Chester the person on the phone told me Prince George not Chester. It would not have been a good situation had I not wanted to make sure I had correct addressPHYLLIS S.

Sign needs to be perpendicular to the highway so it can be seen as one approaches. I need to note that we asked to pick up in Gray Summit. Union was 20 minutes out of our way. We were coming from St. Louis to go to Villa Ridge. Having to pick up in Union also increased mileage on the truck because we were returning it in St. Peters. The owner of this location gave me the number at dispatch to ask for another location. The person I talked to was very rude, did not attempt to find another location and told me if I wanted a truck I had to drive to Union. Period. It's not Larry's fault (the owner of this location) but I probably won't rent again from Uhaul because of the dispatch personnel's behavior.DEBORAH R.

I was very appreciative of the availability of the U- haul. It was short notice & a holiday! Although i basically harassed when i needed the U- haul longer than expected! Larry showed up at my residence complaining that i still in use of the equipment & was extremely disrespectful!! The bill was a little surprising also, i was quoted $14 for accident insurance, but was billed $42!BRAIN A S.

I called to see about picking up in washington mo. the customer service agent was rude and not helpful. told her I really needed to pick up in washington because I had kids with ,things going on . She told me I should rent from someother company if I didn't like where they were going to have me pick up. there was a pick up placin in washington mo, but they had me pick up in union mo. Thats where they dropped off the u haul, Ii couldn't see why they could drop in union and not washington mo. When we got to michigan we had no left side tail lights ( brake ,blinker)on our trip home we had to stay at a hotel, so we weren't driving at night, without drivers side lights. Your customer service needs to be more friendly,and you need to better accomadate the needs of your customers, my request to pick up in washington mo was not an unreasonable request. aslo you need to make sure your trailers have good wiring.TIFFANY W.

Attendant called with an attitude insisting I give an exact time I would be picking up equipment because he "was not going to sit around the office all day waiting for me." I had originally asked for a p/u in different city but U-Haul asked me to change locations due to other locations being closed on the day I wanted to pick up. I explained this to the attendant and told him I was waiting for the driver to arrive so that we could come and he again told me he did not want to wait all day! Since U-Haul was the one who changed the arrangements, I did not appreciate his attitude at all.SHARON M.

i have used u-haul forever and i have never been more disappointed my move was not enjoyable at all. and when i asked for a little compensation i was repeatedly told no i was not at all happy w/there service and after being such a long time customer i cant believe how my family was treated. i would not recommend u-haul to anyone anymore. we are highly dissapointed.TINA W.

The trailers back wheels locked up when backing up on gravel. The drop off guy could have cared less and didn't even offer an apology. The registration expired 3 months ago. The police officer just warned me. I don't know if I will recomend Uhaul to my friends. Thanks for inquiring....cdrCHARLES R.
