I went to this location to request the rental to be told the trailer was already rented from Friday through Sunday. I went to my vehicle and went online where I was able to rent the same trailer. ?????

John FI realize that my tractor would not fit the trailer that U-Haul requested online when I arrived to pick up the trailer. I rented for one way from Roanoke to Chesterfield Virginia. I live in Chesterfield Virginia ,drove three hours to pick up trailer. Spoke with a U-Haul representative to change the trailer from a car hauler to a flatbed trailer. Stated that they didn’t make a trailer to rent of that request and stated that she could not help me. She said sorry and then got off the phone. Which I know u-Haul does have flatbed trailers because I’ve seen them. Representative really did not want to take time to resolve this matter and brushed me off and left me hanging with a trailer I could not use. So I was stuck with the trailer and $140 rental fee. This was quite upsetting that I did not have the service needed. I spoke with a representative at Hershberger Road location in Roanoke, Virginia. That’s where I originally rented the trailer from ,they called me a day before and said I would have to pick up trailer at Orange Avenue location. so I traveled three hours to pick up a trailer to haul a tractor back that I could not do because of the trailer would not compensate my tractor. And the representative at the Hershberger Road in Roanoke Virginia location would not help me at all so I never was able to get my tractor. So I wasted six hours of travel time plus had to pay for a trailer I could not use, is there any compensation for this. You’re welcome to call me to resolve this issue. Ray NThey did not check the gas amount at all when I picked up and dropped . And then try to charge extra money. Only drove 3 miles. First estimated 5 miles charged. and then I put gas 3 gallons. And then they charged extra another 3 gallons which is 13 dollars. Only drove 3 miles for 15" truck. 5 mile charged first + 3 gallons I put + extra $13 = ?

Sharon HWhen I called and spoke with a representative I was told I could pick up at 7:30 am. I arrived at 7:30 am and was told they don’t open until 8. I was also told someone would be calling me to confirm my reservation and never received a call from anyone.

Raymond BThe original trailer I requested had an electrical issue that was keeping the brake lights from working. The rep from 360 Express Mart quickly came out with a tester to test both my plug and the trailer. He determined it was the trailer and tried a different harness, but it still didn't work. He immediately asked if I wanted the larger trailer at no additional cost. It was way overkill for what we needed, but I was very happy to get an upgrade for no additional cost and no hassle. Everything worked great. Drop off was super easy as long as you know how to back up a trailer. Will rent from again. Thanks!
Cory Wthe person was very rude and not helpful. we informed them that we returned the trailer even though we were doing a self checkin (as a curtisy). Told us that we had to mov it the are no signs were to drop the trailer. the only instrutions on the website checkin is to not block entrances or exits. I never recieved my receipt like i was told i would, this location is the worst and online reviews confirm this. Very bad service i will never go there for anything again.
BRANDON TThe trailer was ready when I arrived at the store. The check-in process was easy and fast. The gentleman working the counter came out and help with the trailer. He was nice and polite. The drop off process went smooth and also was easy. I went inside, the gentleman was polite and nice. He checked me in, came out with the jack stand to help with discounting the trailer. The entire process only took a few minutes each time, A+ experience.

michael uNothing, they over charge and didn’t refund me my money when I didn’t even use all my miles. I put the gas back and everything but still charged me more then they was suppose to. I was also told that they would refund me 77 and change and never received it. I would never get another U-Haul from them they also gave me a hard time getting the U-Haul.
