The odometer had 23,420 miles when I picked it up and I doped it off with 23,430 miles the website said I drove the truck for miles!? I have the before pictures of the actual miles when I picked up the truck.

make it more clear how to get your uhaul. don't charge me for gas after I put gas in to where it was. customer service would be great if the location was actually open

We wished to rent in Antioch Illinois. They did not have a one-way and said we would have to pick one up close to the area. 10-15 minutes away. OK. Contacted day prior to pick up that location was 60 minutes from home. OK. Arrived and was told they did not have a truck that was reliable: he would look for one close. I appreciated this, as I did not wish a break-down. Closest location 1 hour and 15 minutes away in Wisconsin. OK. Get there, place closed. Went to a large dealer in the area, did not have a truck. Was told to go back to the other location. Still closed but used the app to find the truck and unlock the keys. a total of 4 1/2 hours. Truck made it and I was happy about that. Not happy about the run around.

Not give as a location when they don't adhere to hours of operation...make sure you pick places that have people there more dependably so you don't HARASS and OVERCHARGE the paying customer all because UHAUL has NO IDEA what's going on here...I will NEVER use U-Haul again!!! So beyond pissed over the lack of ethics with the company as a whole!!!

I had a storage unit at another Kenosha location which I was going to empty. They had around 20 trucks in their lot and I had requested a truck from that location. Instead, I got a text the day before, a Sunday, from UHaul asking me to call a phone number. When I called, I got an answering machine from a business I didn't recognize and I hung up. I went to my requested location the next day and was informed by the very nice man there that I couldn't have any of their trucks and had to go to another location a couple of miles away. Not happy. When I got there, I found out that it was a self service location and I had to use UHaul's app to unlock the key. But I couldn't get the app to work right, nor could my wife, so we were stuck. Really unhappy. My wife tried to use the chat function on the website and kept getting kicked off. Extremely unhappy. Fortunately, there was a man working in an adjacent repair shop that had some connection with UHaul that was able to get the code to open the box with the key. Then we had to drive the 2 miles back to the storage unit with the bonus of most of the way being under road construction. I've probably rented 3-4 trucks and several trailers along with a storage unit for 2 years with UHaul and this was the worst experience I've ever had. To make matters worse, the truck only had a quarter tank of gas and since I was traveling over a hundred miles, I had to fill it up without knowing how much gas I would need. So I wasted about $30 of extra gas in the truck because it was still over half full when I turned it in. The only good thing I can say is that the truck didn't break down. I'll think long and hard before ever using UHaul again.

Representative was very cordial and helpful. The only item I would recommend for improvement would be to update the website to have the current/correct phone number rather having the voicemail refer you to a different number.

This was the 3rd place we went to get a uhaul. 1st place was closed, 2nd didn't have trucks they were supposed to. 3rd (this location) we had to move a trailer ourselves that blocked truck in because yet again, online they were open but actually closed. Customer service was awesome at 800 number.

Equipment - was brought back by another customer of U-Haul. There was no person in charge on site what so ever. Once arriving at the location - I requested to rent a $19.95 truck. They had 2-3 available so not an issue there. But, the guy who was behind the counter was from the garage next door. He knew very little about the process / procedure. As he took a lot of time- I went ahead and booked the u-haul via U-haul.com. Upon providing the confirmation of my booking along with payment and scanning my id etc - the guy called another guy requesting which truck to give and what to do. The other guy again asked for all the info which I already had submitted. Upon, final confirmation the total should have come out to $43-$50. All inclusive of taxes. I returned the truck same evening - before cut off time of rental agreement etc. today received email copy of invoice charging me 3 times the amount. I will be disputing this - as the owner of this establishment clearly lied and verbally confirmed the pricing and upped it with overages upon submitting the invoice.

No one was there to greet me, I had to walk to the back where the mechanic shop was to talk to someone. He informed me the attendant walked away to get breakfast and I had to wait about 5 min. When he got back he was on the phone with someone else at the same time he tried to deal with me. Not very polite. He did not do the walk around the truck the usually do. The truck was dirty and the tank almost empty. When I came back two little kids were there unattended and again I had to walk to the back to get the mechanics attention. First time getting this terrible service at Uhal. Very sad :/

Had a set schedule for 10am but due to all the damage on the truck I wanted to make notes on the app which was very complicated to use, upon getting un the truck it was left for me to pick up with only 1/8 of a tank of fuel, upon returning the again complications with the app were frustrating as it was not noticing the gps location so I decided to finally call the customer support number the lady was helpful, now 2 days later the location finally checked in the truck as returned u believable I will not be going back to that location or even use uhaul, I have used them several times in the past but this might have been the last time unfortunately

Waited for over an hour to get the keys for the truck. No one was at the location. I reserved a 20 ft truck a week in advance and was not ready. Green snaps for dolly cart were snapped off I had to call again and waste another half hour of my time so I was not charged.

Did not check in on line after hours, they charged $21.15 after hrs.service charge. A service charge is for service, which we did not receive any service, after hrs. Corporate said each place can decide if they was to charge "after hrs service fee". Buyer beware of additional fees.

The only thing that was an issue was the truck had a hole in the muffler or tail pipe so it was very loud and used alot of fuel due to it. Other than that, the unit was fine.

Rented a trailer, no wiring harnesses with it , lady said I’d have to go to a actual u haul place and buy one , I said that’s where I originally rented it from till someone changed location day before , I had to go buy my own harness, it should of had a harness supplied with it!

The store hours on line and from the pick up location let me know they were open until 7:00 pm on Saturday. I arrived at 6:30 and the open sign was on. The clerk said they were technically closed and I would have to go online to check out. Also, I would have to park the car. The area was very tight. I refused to park it worried I would damage it. He did park it for me. But still had to take pictures and go online. I did not do that since he was to be open until 7:00.

Don't Lie to the customer and charge fees when the customer is honest especially 1) if the truck is on time and the person is having trouble returning the truck on their phone,2) if the gas is at the same spot as when the customer pick up the truck and 3) the truck is clean.

Open office as indicated; Have someone in office for returns during business hours listed on door/website; Have official U-Haul employee do paperwork and not next door mechanic come do UHaul paperwork! I was charged for 2 day rent when actually had truck 2 HOURS & total 6 miles (local) & charged for 20 gallons of fuel:(. I’ve used U-Haul in past and NEVER had this issue...Now I’m fighting to get my credit from overcharging....

Only issue I had was that we were given one phone number on the contract to call when we were dropping of the trailer, then I received a voice mail with another phone number to call when we drop off the trailer and then on the day we dropped off the trailer I received another voice mail giving me another number to call!!! All 3 were different numbers. That was a little disconcerting. Otherwise we had no issues although I was a little concerned that there wasn't a spare tire to change if we had gotten a flat!

What a Norman Bates looking shithole. Online said they were open until 7, when I got there at 5 they were closed. A HUGE fuck you to U-Haul’s online checkout process which took me at least a half hour to deliver my truck. I had to actually create an account rather than just simply check out as a guest?? Amateur hour garbage. Then I have to change all types of settings on my phone, and a thousand steps to check out - do I look like one of your employees?? Total dogshit experience.

The inside of the back of the truck was dirty so some of our belongings go dirty as a result. The whole process was very slow. The associate that helped us entered my email in wrong so I did not receive any communications which made dropping off very difficult and he never confirmed this with me.
